Lou Yuna stared at her as though she was an idiot. “A peasant like you isn’t suitable for such an expensive and luxurious place!”
“Ain’t that the truth!” Weng Jingke echoed the sentiment. “Fang Xinxin, you wear cheap clothes bought from street vendors. You could buy a lifetime worth of such clothes with the cheapest membership here. I think you’re better off saving the cash.”
“What can she possibly save?” Fang Manxue also pitched in venomously. “My third sister doesn’t have any money, not even a dime to her name.”
The Fang family had never given any allowances to the useless fatty.
Fang Manxue asked her, with her voice soaked in contempt. “Third sister, you couldn’t have sneakily asked Bai Qinghao for money, right?”

She replied with a shrug. “No, I haven’t taken a single cent from him. But he did give me a mountain of clothes and shoes worth nearly twenty million dollars.”

Previously, when they met her at the Fang house, didn’t Butler Zhao mention that the clothes were only worth ten million dollars? It turned out that they cost nearly twenty million dollars!

“Bai Qinghao actually bought such expensive clothes for his sister-in-law…” A female guest asked in surprise. “Could it be that he has certain designs on her?”

She said, “It’s rumored that Bai Qinghao has never had any lust for women. Besides, there’s no way he could be attracted to her face.”
Lou Yuna added. “It’s all because Manxue asked him on her behalf. He is really very generous.”
“So, that’s the reason.” The other guests had a look of understanding on their faces.
Fang Xinxin sneered at the farce being played out in front of her.
Very good, they were all calling her ugly. Just wait and see, she would soon dazzle all of them with her beauty!
Lou Yuna shook Manxue’s arm. “My good classmate, my good sister, in future, you have to put in a few good words for me with Bai Qinghao as well.”
As long as Bai Qinghao helped her even slightly, the Lou family’s business would become way more successful.
“Why did you speak so much?” Fang Manxue deliberately interrupted her. She then apologetically said to the silent Fang Xinxin, “Third sister, I’m sorry, I let you get misunderstood.”
