Sam looked at Marron and a million thoughts ran through his head.

But as if to give Sam a reality check, she lunged forward and stabbed with the end of her shaft hitting him squarely on his chest and then followed with a swing to his head.

Sam dodged the staff coming at his head, but it still brushed past him. Then another swing that came from the sudden change of the staff's direction that was aimed at his head once again.
Sam ducked down and rolled to the side before trying to attack her from the side. She blocked the dagger, but this time, Sam used the repel style. The contact helped him slide down the staff. He spun around and tried to stab her with the second dagger.
*BANG*
She blocked it with the staff again. At this moment however, at the tip of the dagger, the gathered energy suddenly turned into a sphere and was shot at her face. Like an energy bullet just with shadow energy.

The bullet grazed past her cheek and made her step back.

Marron looked at Sam with a smirk and made her nove.

Each swing of the staff made his heart shudder and Sam could feel himself sweat even in that fusion form. At least he felt like he was sweating.

Marron for the first time stopped moving and looked at Sam with slight surprise. Sam didn't even care about the stopping, instead he is glad that her facial expression cracked a bit. She is way too calm and Sam doesn't really like it in his opponents when they are that calm.
They are fun to play with when the are a bit lost and paranoid.
That will be easier to handle. Of course, her current situation is nowhere near that. But it is a start.
