2259 New Rules
After Theron left, a message was sent to all the Deans of the academy realm.
It was sent using the formation of the realm as a whole and was directly injected in the heads of the Deans.
It was not limited to the Deans of the Olympian realm and was sent to every Dean irrespective of their region. While the message was still being processed, Ling Tian already came back to the Gambler academy.
He appeared in such a calm manner as if he is afraid that he will attract some unnecessary attention.
"A little late to be low profile, don't you think?"
Sam asked with a smile as he looked at Ling Tian who is currently hiding in Sam's dorm.
"I have to. Wharton will eat my head if I go out right now."
"Why? What happened?"
"Wharton wants to quit as a Dean and wants to take the position as the normal elder. I was asked to take over in his stead and I told him that no one would be convinced since they don't know my strength and merits.
Of course, I used that as an excuse.
But now, I don't have it. Because of a certain someone I had to fight with a monster level cultivator and my abilities are exposed."
Sam just shrugged not feeling tiniest bit guilty.
"Anyway, this should be set to rest for a while. I hope you don't plan to stir this on even more."
Ling Tian sighed. Because for some reason, the message that has to go to only the Deans was also sent to him.
As they kept on drinking quietly, a loud announcement was heard throughout the Gambler academy.
"A new rule has been passed throughout all of the Academy realm. Due to the increasing chaos in the recent days, all the Deans have come to a consensus, that there shall not be any more killings and fighting in the academy realm until further notice.
The only time a fight is allowed is either in the tournaments or if it is a supervised duel approved by someone who is at an elder rank and both parties involved in the fight should consent without any form of coercion.
The pocket dimension and external missions are all being closed. The students of the academies are all going to be recalled and the training would be completely internal to the academies until the inter academy tournament.
Due to the unique circumstances, there will be no regional tournament this time. Based on the categories, each academy should send their respective representatives with an internal competition of their choice.
The tournament will still be held in the Norse region with the Thor academy as the hosts.
There is a high chance that the rules of the tournament might change. However, you can assume that they are the same until a proper notice is given.
Anyone who breaks any of the rules, including instigating or participating in a fight or any other conflict without proper supervision or consent will be permanently banned from the academy after suffering a stringent punishment.
Also, until further notice, no external members are allowed to the academy realm. The commoners who do not belong to any academy also cannot stay in the academy realm unless they are vouched by a person of at least an elder level.
The rules also apply to them.
So, in case they break the rules, the elder that vouched for them will be dealt with the exact same punishment as the victim.
In this time period, there should not be any intentional harm to personal property of any person. Strict punishments will be implemented upon doing so.
I hope everyone recovers from the set backs we faced and get ready to participate in the Inter-academy tournament two months later.

The announcement was big and very elaborate. Sam smiled and shrugged at this.
"I guess, I don't have to worry about plotting for some time. Its good to know."
"Like hell, you would. I am sure a wicked plot is brewing in that twisted brain of yours as you speak those lies." Ling Tian directly said it to Sam's face.
"No, I am actually done with it for now. I will await for some time before I get involved in this.
Anyway, I want to know something."
"What is it?"
"We were told that there would be some missions from the gods after we enter the academy realm, but there is no contact until now. What's happening?"
"I guess there is no problem in telling you, but you need to promise that you will share it with rest of the players."
"Sure."
"You guys need to trigger some hidden conditions to activate the missions. In fact, every mission has its own set of hidden conditions and only then will you be informed specifically by the academy realm's formation.
The first mission has a bit more hidden requirements than the rest. Or it would be better to say, the threshold is a bit higher."
"What kind of hidden requirements?"
"That part, I cannot reveal."

The first graders of the Olympian region in particular are crushed. Their numbers dwindled, spirits destroyed.
Sam ensured that the next generation of the frontrunners of the Olympian academies could only serve as cannon fodder for the rest of the regions that are less effected.
Now, he just needs to focus on destroying the existing generation's front runners. For that he just needs to sit back and cultivate as he has an opportunity in two months.
