Ling Tian watched as the whole of the Olympian region plunged into chaos.
He saw battles moving all over the place. It was a good that there was curfew and a lot of people were not allowed to move around. Of course, some hidden commoners here and there are not exactly safe now.
But with such a large city as a battlefield and so many buildings, they could always find a place to hide and maybe get out of this with some luck.
The problem however is that something Ling Tian has yet to observe. Taking the chaos as an advantage, some people with ulterior motives are moving around. The most common goal… killing their info mule.
They are barging into academies and started killing their targets. In the hopes that the whole thing will be swept under the rug as the collateral damage of the chaos. The first graders who were usually considered as the backbone of the academies, since they are the ones who will evolve into the second, third and fourth graders are being slaughtered left and right.
All the damage Sam has done until now.
With the flaming skulls, the weekly payment, the trial by combat and even using Stone… he killed so many first graders over the past few weeks.

"White. The young man that has been on my back ever since I came to the academy realm."
Ling Tian's body stiffened. He forgot about White. With all the chaos that is happening, he forgot about that guy. He also forgot that he revealed his relationship with White to Sam. There is no way Sam who is an information addict to not want to use this.
He was in fact a bit surprised that Sam didn't press further to know more about it.
Now that Sam asked, he had a bad feeling that this will not be something that he will like.

When the chaos outside was at its highest, the whole region was in the flames of murder and slaughter. One of the space gates of the Zeus academy was activated.
From within two people came. One of them is way too familiar a face for the people of the Zeus academy and the people who were trying to run for their lives immediately knelt in front of him.
"Dean Heron, please save us. Please."
"Save us. They are trying to kill us."
"It's the elder from the other academy. I know his secrets. He is trying to kill me."
Heron looked at the blood soaked academy in horror. There are dead bodies everywhere. Most of the space gates are locked and only the special ones were unlocked, but they can only be used to come in the academy, not out. That was what Heron and companion used.
The rest of the students up on facing the wrath of the other elders immediately ran to the space gates, but they are unable to use them.
A lot of first graders and the seniors that tried to save them are dead.
And the culprits stood in front of him.
