Re-Birth of a Genius. Creator/Destroyer

Chapter 1766 - 1766 Meeting Students

Chapter 1766 - 1766 Meeting Students

1766 Meeting Students

The trio is currently sitting in front of Sam as they all drank wine together.

“So, you managed to kick the asses of the other players and got wishes from one of the most powerful gods and used it to come and meet us?”

Philip asked with a weird expression.

“Sounds about right.”

Sam nodded casually.

“You fucking idiot. I thought you were supposed to be the smart one. Why would you waste your wishes on something like this, you retard.” Philip stood up and almost slapped Sam across the face.

But then he realized all the beatings he took when he tried it in the past and came to a conclusion. He shouldn’t hit Sam after he came from hell to see them, he is a good friend.

He is also sure that it is definitely not because he is afraid of the beatings.

“It doesn’t matter. There is nothing materialistic in this world that these gods can give me that I cannot get on my own. It might take some time, but we are capable enough to gain that ourselves. So, don’t think too much about it, and let it be.

.....

Anyway, I came here to warn you guys. I am going a bit off rails on the competition, so the gods will try to retaliate on this front.

I want you to shift your focus to the information networks of the organizations. Cut of their communication and information channels.

I don’t need to give you more details, but make sure you covered all the bases. Don’t underestimate them.

The gods will stoop to no end to take even some petty revenge. So, always have a contingency ready. Even if you slow down in the war, that is fine, I don’t want any casualties on our end. If a machine can do the task instead of a person, let the machine do it, no matter how expensive it is.”

“Got it. Anything else?”

“Nothing. Just be careful. Don’t be idiots. I want all of you scott-free when I come back from Hell.”

They just nodded.

“Sam, I think you have to go and talk to your students.”

“I was about to actually. But what happened? Is it something related to Habi?”

Sam asked with a frown.

“Yes. Sirona is currently monitoring them. Since the start of the war, they went on their own way. They are dealing with organizations at their level. But the problem is they are all angry and Habi more than others.

Sirona said that he is killing crazily. He is extremely violent and out of control. Even Kasi was unable to hold him back sometimes.

Even when the students are sparring between themselves, he is not harming the others, but he is always looking to make a final move that would end the duel. He is not focused on learning like before. Instead, he is so focused on revenge.

I think he will lose it if you don’t talk to him.”

Sam sighed when he heard this. He knew that there is a possibility something like this will happen. He has experienced this himself before.

When he finally learned to fight back in his past life, the organization cadets that bullied him constantly all suffered greatly. In fact, every cadet that ever fell into any type of competition with him has suffered in Sam’s hands.

He took his anger out on them.

All the anger he accumulated when he faced all the humiliation, he let it show on them. It is not a great time for him. Even though he felt powerful and liberated, it is also the time when he showcased one of his worst qualities.

He stopped learning in that short period of time, he stopped exploring things, he stopped using intellect for anything other than killing and hurting others.

In his opinion, Habi might be a great warrior, but he is also a great artist. An artist of blades. Sam always felt proud of the fact, even though Habi started out wanting to be a warrior, he learned to appreciate the finesse of the fighting arts.

He learned to appreciate the usage of different blade weapons. He understood everything related to them, their making, usage, and representation. All of this only helped him become a better warrior.

But now, he is just becoming a killer. Only being a killer is something Sam would never wish up on anyone except for a select few. And none of his students fall into that category.

He said goodbye to his friends and went to look for Habi.

He disappeared from the spot along with Osiris. They arrived in the city currently the students are residing in.

They appeared outside the inn that the students are in.

Their sudden appearance out of nowhere cause a slight stir and Osiris’ appearance attracted way too many eyes, but Sam didn’t care. He just spread his spiritual sense and looked for his students.

When he saw them on the top floor of the inn, he frowned.

“These Olympian fuckers, they always do this.”

Osiris smiled and asked.

“Are you worried?”

“No, that guy’s level might be higher, but he made the mistake of choosing my students. You might not know this, but I always punched way above my league, and my students are no different. And when they are together, they are invincible against someone like that guy.”

Sam said proudly with a smile on his face. Osiris smiled. He has observed Sam for a while in the last round.

He was indeed surprised by how incredulous Sam’s methods are and how powerful he is compared to his peers. He can bet that the other players are very powerful. It is hard to find competition for them in any realm. But Sam outclassed them by a fair bit.

And to see that this person is not devoid of normal joy is somewhat refreshing. He lived through eons and he has seen many geniuses that are detached from normality and brought their own ruin. They couldn’t carry their gifts long enough to reach their full potential.

This normal touch is great for Sam.

As he was thinking, he noticed Sam frowning.

Even before he could confirm, Sam already used his spatial element to disappear from the spot. Osiris followed him.

Both of them appeared in the top floor of the room at the same time. The top floor is actually a very large empty space. It is like a training hall in which Sam’s students were originally training. Everyone of them are sweating bullets and they are not using their usual armor.

They are in their training clothes and they are currently surrounding a middle aged man who has two levels of cultivation above them.

Sam and Osiris appeared and the first thing they saw is Habi rushing forward with Executioner sword.

The opponent is not backing down, in fact he had a smile as he tried to take Habi’s head off, and even if that missed, he had something else planned. His second hand which is covered by his stance is currently aiming something else at another student of Sam’s.

Right at this moment, Sam snapped his fingers. Both the opponent and Habi froze in space.

They can still see and hear what is happening, they can even use their spiritual sense, they just couldn’t move. Habi is frozen mid air while the opponent stayed rooted on the spot.

Sam looked at Habi and the students seriously.

The students were stunned. They didn’t expect Sam to be here.

“Teacher.”

They immediately knelt on the ground and greeted him.

Sam gestured for them stand up and looked at Habi.

Habi looked at Sam and when he noticed a helpless and disappointed expression on his teacher’s face, he felt his heart ache. It felt like someone stabbed a million times. He cannot take that. He could take his teacher’s anger over the disappointment.

Sam sighed once again and placed his hand on Habi’s cheek. His mental energy shook a bit as he used his soul to transfer all of his memories to Habi.

Memories of this life and the past life.

He is indeed disappointed, but not in Habi. He is disappointed in himself. He is disappointed that he is not competent enough to leave his student out of the mess created by these gods.

He is disappointed that after his student was left in that mess, he was not there to save him from this abyss of emotions. And that disappointment is followed by anger.

Habi looked through Sam’s memories. The pain, suffering, anger, helplessness, the emotions tormented Sam, and the emotionless Sam became cold. The person who couldn’t see the meaning of life.

But was forced to live and when he found the meaning, it was taken away.

Habi felt that his pain is unique. He was betrayed. He gave his heart and gave away the beast companion that is half of his life and he felt unquantifiable anger towards the person who did that.

But just killing that person was not enough.

Because he was angry at himself for not being able to get out of the situation, he was angry for becoming a fool. When he compared his pain to Sam, it felt like nothing and to him at least he had his friends trying to help him.

But for Sam, no one was there to help him and he drowned in an abyss.

Habi started tearing up.

“What you did is wrong. You should never ever put someone else in danger just because you are angry at yourself and wanted to absolve yourself of it.

Your fellow students, they are the most loyal people you could trust. They want the best for you, but you constantly ignored their advice. If they wanted to, they could crush you absolutely, but their love for you stopped them and you are taking it for granted.

Sam spoke as he took the Executioner’s sword into his hand. He tapped the sword at a few spots on the handle and the blade.

He placed it back in Habi’s hand once again and all of a sudden it lost some lustre.

“This is your punishment. Unless you atone for yourself, you cannot access the full power of this sword’s spirit.

Now, get back to your formation and fight properly with your members.”

He pushed him slightly. Habi went into the formation with his fellow students.

Sam snapped his fingers and the opponent looked at him. He is scared of Sam. His legs shook.

“Don’t worry. You are not my prey. You are theirs.”

Sam stood on the sidelines as he watched his students slice and dice the opponent.
