Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster

Chapter 1001: Demon Realm

A few minutes had passed since Lilith’s bold statement, and as the brave and powerful man that Rael was, he now sat in a cat café, watching as Lilith happily sipped on her coffee and pet some cats that were on their table.

He hadn’t planned this date in the slightest, but he was definitely not going to back away from it. Staring at her beautiful appearance, the only thing Rael could do was wonder.

Why exactly was she in a hurry to get pregnant? There were still so many things she could do before eventually settling down, and yet…

[Rael, you should remember that neither of you are human. You seem to forget every single time it comes up,] Gaia said with a sigh, then added:

[Think of it this way: she has feelings for you, and wants to bear your children. Naturally, your children will inherit your powers, and will likely proceed to become the strongest in the entire multiverse.]

That seemed about right.

[A few days is all she’d need to recover from the pregnancy too, so bear it no mind. If anything were to even remotely go wrong, I am here. I am considered the Goddess of Life by many, anyways,] she finished.

With that, she once again fell silent, allowing Rael to gather his thoughts a little.

“Hey, Lilith? When was the first time you actually became interested in me?”

At his sudden question, she tilted her head, then let out a chuckle. “Isn’t that something a girl would usually ask her man? It’s a bit silly hearing it from a man.”

Regardless, she decided to answer:

“Let’s see, the first time I fell for you was perhaps shortly after you helped me with my bloodline. I guess initially, I was grateful, but then I realized you were doing it purely out of your own interests, rather than in pursuit of me.”

Rael paused. “So you liked it when I didn’t like you?”

That was the way he understood it, and seeing her nod, his question was answered.

“Haha. I guess so? I might be a bit immature at times, but I promise, my interest is genuine. What about you? When was the first time you became interested in me?” she asked.

Rael thought about it for a moment. When was the first time he became interested in her? It was really hard to tell… Their relationship had moved really fast.

By the time Solenne arrived and messed everything up, Lilith had already begun liking him. At that time, he wasn’t that interested. But after he sent her away to Zafira, the constant thought of her did make him slowly fall for her.

So in the end…

“It was a few months after everyone lost their memories of me. I guess the distance made me start liking you. Afterwards, I fell for you more after we met again and talked, and went on that date. The date in the Demon Realm was also something to remember.”

After all, cuddling with someone like that was definitely something. So even though it started off as a fake marriage initially, it became something real very quickly. Now, he was happy, and she was too. So happy, she wanted him to impregnate her.

Welp.

“The cats are cute. You should’ve given it to me instead of Zafira, hmph,” Lilith said, petting yet another cat.

Rael shrugged. “I’m glad I didn’t give it to you. You would’ve eaten the cat.”

Hearing that, she raised her head and narrowed her eyes at him. “You think I was serious? I don’t eat cats. They’re not very delicious.”

“You’ve eaten them before…?” Rael mumbled, then shook his head, deciding not to proceed with this topic any longer. “Hey, are you sure you don’t want to pay a visit to the Demon Realm? I might not understand what the traditions are, but it seems like a lot of demons are surrounding the palace. Probably a rebellion?”

Lilith paused for a moment. “A rebellion? I doubt my father can’t handle it, but I guess it wouldn’t hurt to check it out.”

With those words, she slashed the air in front of her, opening a portal straight to the Demon Realm. Afterwards, she stepped through it, and so did Rael. In the next instant, the two of them appeared in the capital.

Despite what he was expecting, there was no rebellion. Instead, there was some kind of festival. Not the same festival from last time where the demons killed each other, though. Instead, it was more so…

BOOOOOOOM!

Nevermind.

It was a rebellion.

“Kill the Demon King!”

“Kill him!”

“Kill Lilith too!”

“…What did I do?” Lilith muttered in confusion.

Rael let out a chuckle. “I’m guessing he announced that you’re becoming the next Demon King. They’re probably pissed that you’re a woman, so you should probably go down there and beat everyone’s ass.”

“Should I?” Lilith tapped her chin. “I feel like I should kill all of them, to be frank. They’re not very strong, and they just pollute the population. It’s not very ideal for the future of the Demon Realm.”

Nodding to herself, she gave Rael a thumbs up. Before he could say another word, she went ahead and snapped her fingers, causing a pillar of black flames to emerge from the ground and envelop most of the demons present, killing them instantly.

It was the type of flame that wasn’t extinguished easily. If anything, Rael was sure the only way to extinguish it was by destroying the person entirely.

Chuckling at the chaos she had just caused, Rael glanced ahead, spotting the Demon King resting in his castle, nonchalantly watching the chaos too. For a brief moment, their eyes locked, and although the Demon King didn’t make it obvious, it seemed like he was a little glad to see Rael.

Realizing that one fact, Rael smiled at the Demon King, and after tapping Lilith’s shoulder, the two of them slowly began making their way into the Demon King’s palace.
