Chapter 2262: Chapter 2262: Want to Take the Place Yourself?
“You’ve only figured it out but haven’t started cultivating yet?” An Jiuyue asked him.
“No.”
Leng Yikun shook his head.
“I’ve only cultivated a sliver—just the first page,” he said.
“Then forget about the pages after that for now. Only cultivate up to the first six pages,” An Jiuyue said.
“For anything you do, it’s best to take it step by step. Attempting to master an entire cultivation technique manual in one go is simply impossible. The fact that you’ve managed to comprehend six pages in such a short time already highlights how talented you are.”
“So, I shouldn’t look at the later pages anymore?”
It seemed Leng Yikun was starting to understand.
So, it wasn’t that he lacked talent and couldn’t grasp the meaning of the cultivation technique manual. Instead, he had reached his limit at six pages—he needed to finish cultivating them first before he could understand the rest?
From this perspective, it made sense.
“I understand now, High Priest. I will do my best to finish cultivating the first six pages soon.”
An Jiuyue: “…”
So, he hadn’t listened to a word she said?
“Yikun, my point is that there’s no need to rush. Haste makes waste. Keeping a calm and peaceful mind is the best principle for cultivation. We’ve got time.”
Even she wasn’t fully prepared yet. Over on Qian Jiyun’s side, they were still cultivating too. There was no way they’d be heading to the Blue Sun Space anytime soon.
“Yeah, yeah! Uncle Yi Kun, we have plenty of time. If worst comes to worst, we still have Nuonuo!” The little baby chimed in with his childish voice.
He was very awesome too and could help Daddy and Mommy!
Hearing his comment, An Jiuyue couldn’t help turning her head, amused as she looked fondly at her little treasure of a son.
“That’s right, we still have our Little Nuonuo.”
She extended her hand and pinched her little baby’s nose.
“If worst comes to worst, we can toss Little Nuonuo out—guaranteed to defeat Evil Spirit Universe, right?” She asked her son seriously.
“Huh?!”
The little baby was stunned upon hearing this.
His eyes widened as he stared at his mother in disbelief.
“Mommy, you want to toss Nuonuo out? Wouldn’t Nuonuo be eaten up by Evil Spirit Universe?” He asked, panicked.
He was still so small, only this tall, and he didn’t want to be eaten by Evil Spirit Universe! He was trying to grow big quickly so he could earn lots of money for Mommy to spend.
“You know you’d get eaten by Evil Spirit Universe, yet you still want to face it yourself?” An Jiuyue asked exasperatedly.
This little baby really had a way of making them laugh.
“Then Nuonuo won’t face it. Nuonuo will stay behind to cheer for Daddy and Mommy!” The little baby thought for a moment. He didn’t want to face it directly, so he’d stay in the rear.
If worst comes to worst, he could only be a cheerleader from behind—a little pity, though.
“Alright, you cheer for us. If your daddy hears you cheering, he’d surely knock down any number of monsters with one punch,”
An Jiuyue said, laughing.
Upon hearing this, the little baby froze for a second and then shook his head.
“Actually, no. Nuonuo doesn’t want Daddy to be fighting monsters all day long. It’s better not to cheer after all.”
Creatures like Evil Spirit Universe—having fewer of them would be better. Otherwise, like Uncle Wei Na said, his childhood would be spent watching Daddy and Mommy fighting nonstop.
He’d be like an uncared-for little sprout—pitiful beyond words!
“Mommy, let’s eat noodles instead. Your noodles are starting to get cold!” He reminded his mother, worried that the noodles would get soggy if not eaten soon.
