The tanned girl’s eyes betrayed her longing. Then again, any girl would want to have such beautiful dresses.
Ning Shu picked out one of the dresses and gave it to her. She said, “This color suits you.”
“Thank you, Sis,” the tanned girl said.
Once the tanned girl was properly dressed, Ning Shu opened the door. The lean man from earlier swept a glance at her and the tanned girl.
“Follow me,” the lean man said. Then, he began leading the way.
Ning Shu walked steadily, unfazed even with armed men behind her.
The little tanned girl, however, was fidgeting. It was her first time wearing such a pretty dress, and she didn’t know what to do with her hands and feet while wearing it.
The lean man brought them to a heavy aluminum alloy door.
The door was equipped with fingerprint and retinal scanners.
He stepped in front of the recognition system.“Identity confirmed. Proceed.”
A ding sounded as the lock disengaged, and the door slid open.
The lean man turned to Ning Shu and said, “Come inside with me.”
He pushed the door open and entered. Ning Shu followed after him.
As soon as Ning Shu stepped in, she saw a wall covered with monitors, each displaying clear and precise live footage of the island.
Every individual was under surveillance.
Their locations were meticulously marked, and each of them was tagged with a numbered identifier.
Those who had already died had a large X stamped over their numbers.
Inside the room were two women. One, a short-haired woman wearing a headset, was directing operations on the island.
The other had thick, wavy hair like seaweed. This woman lounged lazily beside the short-haired woman. Even just her side profile was enough to stir wild fantasies.
A high-heeled shoe dangled from her toes and swayed back and forth.
She was a woman of unparalleled elegance and innate allure.
The tanned girl gasped and commented, “That big sister is so beautiful.”
She was, of course, referring to the woman with the wavy hair.
Hearing her, the alluring woman turned her head.
Ning Shu’s eyes flashed with admiration. Her lips were like flaming rubies. She looked exquisitely captivating.
“Miss, the people you requested are here,” the lean man reported with his head lowered.
The alluring woman nodded and waved her hand, which prompted the man to immediately exit.
From start to finish, the lean man kept his head lowered and maintained a bow. He didn’t dare to look directly at the person he addressed as ‘Miss.’
As he left, he closed the door behind him.
“Big Sister, you’re so pretty,” the tanned girl exclaimed. She swore this was the most beautiful woman she had ever seen in her life.
She was like a celestial fairy who’d descended from heaven.
Ning Shu’s lips twitched and said, “Sister? She’s got a package.”
And a big one, at that.
Using her spiritual consciousness, Ning Shu could see people as if they were stripped bare.
If she focused further, she could even see internal organs.
No amount of fake breasts could turn someone into a woman, especially when they were just stuck onto their skin.
No wonder her chest area was covered up so tightly.
The alluring woman raised an eyebrow at Ning Shu. “Who are you calling a man?”
When the ‘alluring woman’ spoke, the voice that came out of her was undeniably a man’s.
The tanned girl’s jaw dropped as she stared in shock.
“You’re mistaken. I am a woman,” the ‘alluring woman’ said. Her voice shifted into a higher, feminine tone. It turned lilting and melodious.
The tanned girl stood frozen with a dumbfounded look on her face. Her mind had completely short-circuited while trying to process this.
The short-haired woman with the headset turned to look at Ning Shu.
Her expression was cold, and even her gaze was icy.
“Little Sister, this is the one you wanted to save for last? I told you. Those who can’t be controlled should be dealt with first,” the alluring woman—no, man—said.
