The footage was low resolution. It was footage from the supermarket’s surveillance camera.

The mention of prison turned Li Bing’s face ashen. “I could go to jail?”
In his mind, jail was reserved for murderers. He didn’t even do anything, why would he have to go to jail?

Ning Shu gripped the paper cup, lowered her head, and said firmly, “I absolutely will not settle privately. This isn’t my fault!”
Why should the victim bear all the consequences while the perpetrator walks away unscathed just because she’s a woman?

“I will not settle privately,” she repeated.
According to the law, rape through violence, threats, or other means carried a prison sentence of three to ten years.
Meanwhile, Li Bing continued to deny the crime, insisting Wang Ying was his girlfriend and their relationship was consensual.
“I’ll drive you home,” the female officer said.

“I noticed your family isn’t very supportive. I’ll go with you to intimidate your parents a bit.”
