Chapter 3015: Can’t We Talk Things Out?
Yu Liuli lay on the ground, staring at Ning Shu, who sat calmly in her chair.
“Kong Lin, you…” Maniac.
Yu Liuli had never encountered someone so cruel before.
Controlling her, punishing her at will, and treating her like a slave.
She had always wanted to be comrades with Kong Lin, but what she got in return was such ruthless treatment.
Yu Liuli felt utterly betrayed.
What she wanted to know even more was how Ning Shu had broken free of their contract and even reversed it.
“Kong Lin, do we really have to keep being enemies like this? Can’t we talk things out?” Yu Liuli asked weakly, struggling to stand.
Ning Shu simply said, “What makes you think you have the right to talk to me? What do you want to discuss?”
“We can cooperate,” Yu Liuli said, wiping the cold sweat from her face, attempting to negotiate.“What’s there to discuss? You are my servant. Everything you own belongs to me. If I want you to live, you live; if I want you to die, you die. What qualifications do you have to negotiate with me? What could you possibly offer me?”
Yu Liuli bit her lip. After thinking it over, she realized she had nothing to trade with Ning Shu.
“So, don’t be so loud and disruptive around me. I find it annoying. Your glares don’t scare me,” Ning Shu said indifferently.
Those so-called intimidating gazes that could terrify someone to death? Nonsense.
High and mighty? Cold and aloof? That was utter nonsense.
Who was she putting on that act for?
Yu Liuli currently looked pathetic. Seeing the indifferent expression on Ning Shu’s face only made her more frustrated.
The look in his eyes was as if he were observing an ant—something entirely insignificant.
Yu Liuli had always felt that she should be someone impossible to ignore, someone special.
If Ning Shu had poured her energy into torturing or hating her, Yu Liuli wouldn’t have felt so humiliated.
At least hatred would have been some form of attention.
Ning Shu looked at Yu Liuli and said, “Summon Yin Tian.”
“What are you trying to do?” Yu Liuli asked warily, her guard up.
“I told you to summon him, do so.”
Afraid of further punishment, Yu Liuli hesitated briefly before responding, “Yin Tian is in a deep slumber. I can’t wake him up.”
Ning Shu narrowed her eyes as she looked at Yu Liuli. She might as well eliminate her now to avoid future complications.
If she could break free of the contract, there was no guarantee that a protagonist blessed with all the luck in the world wouldn’t be able to do the same.
Especially since Yu Liuli and Yin Tian currently share a single identity. All their fortune was concentrated in one body.
Who knew what kind of incident could occur that might lead to Yu Liuli breaking free of the contract?
Who could predict what might happen?
Hardening her resolve, Ning Shu decided she needed to eliminate Yu Liuli immediately. She couldn’t leave her as a problem for the entrustor.
Their animosity had already reached a point of no return. If Yu Liuli ever got free from this contract, her first act would undoubtedly be revenge.
Yu Liuli felt her heart leap into her throat, stammering, “W-what are you planning to do?”
Ning Shu responded calmly, “You know, I think you should summon Yin Tian. I have something to discuss with him.”
“What exactly do you want with Yin Tian?” Yu Liuli grew even more cautious.
“This is between me and you. It has nothing to do with him.”
Ning Shu was starting to feel impatient. She snapped her fingers, and Yu Liuli clutched her head, wailing in pain once more.
