Yun Xiao also knew that they should be safe now and said to Xia Dabao, “You’re pretty capable.”
“Of course, I am. You may see Peony and Camellia do this and that for me, but back in Peach Blossom Village I could hunt in the mountains and farm the fields,” Xia Dabao said with a smile.
Yun Xiao smiled but then, worried that Xia Dabao might get tired from sitting too long, he shifted in the bed, “Why don’t you lie down here?”
“This… that’s not necessary, is it?” Xia Dabao laughed lightly, “I’m fine sitting.”
“Then you come up and lie down, and I’ll sit down,” Yun Xiao suggested.
“That won’t do, you’re so badly injured, how can I let you sit? Instead… I’ll lie down,” Xia Dabao said and then got onto the bed. However, she lied at the opposite end from Yun Xiao, creating a sense of distance, and now both of them were able to lie down.
