Chapter 400 - 193: Thousand Snows Annihilation
Chapter 400: Chapter 193: Thousand Snows Annihilation
Mu Tiange, naturally, didn’t believe him. But before he could voice his disbelief, Fang Shuwen had already vanished from his sight.
Without a moment’s hesitation, he spread his arms. His Inner Strength surged, and flurries of snow began to swirl around him.
This was the sole defensive maneuver in the *Thousand Snow Annihilation Art*, a technique called "Whirling Snow."
Countless snowflakes swirled around his body, capable of both withstanding the direct impact of blades and redirecting incoming force.
Given his hatred for Fang Shuwen, Mu Tiange should not have used such a move.
But when he had used "Snow Silence" earlier, it had clearly struck Fang Shuwen, yet inexplicably failed to cause even the slightest harm.
This filled his heart with a profound sense of dread.
Both Ye Wufeng and Mu Tiange knew that Fang Shuwen’s martial arts were an eclectic mix.
With the resources of the Five Great Forces, gathering such intelligence was not difficult.
But for the life of him, Mu Tiange couldn’t fathom what peerless technique could completely nullify "Snow Silence." If he couldn’t figure that out, any further attacks would be meaningless.
What he didn’t know was that "Snow Silence" had played right into the hands of Fang Shuwen’s North Nether Divine Technique.
The *Thousand Snow Annihilation Art* uses Inner Strength to form snowflakes. If the blizzard had been fast, sharp as knives and swords, it would have injured Fang Shuwen upon impact unless he deployed his Twelve-Gate Golden Bell Shield.
But as it happened, "Snow Silence" was a slow, unhurried technique...
The snowflakes drifted gently onto Fang Shuwen, only to be promptly devoured by his North Nether Divine Technique.
No matter its underlying principles or hidden dangers, at its core, it was still just Inner Strength.
Ye Wufeng and Mu Tiange were aware of Fang Shuwen’s diverse arsenal, but the North Nether Divine Technique, with its unique properties, was one he had deliberately kept hidden.
He killed anyone who witnessed him use it.
Thus, its existence remained a secret.
And at this very moment, it drove Mu Tiange’s dread of Fang Shuwen to its absolute peak.
In that moment, Mu Tiange even found himself hating Mu Chengjin.
He had been causing trouble since he was a child, and now that he was grown, he was bringing down full-blown disasters.
From a certain perspective, what Fang Shuwen had said back then was actually correct.
Sooner or later, Mu Chengjin would bring ruin upon the Thousand Snow Pavilion... Hadn’t those words now become a grim prophecy?
Faster than words could describe, Fang Shuwen appeared right in front of Mu Tiange. Ye Wufeng, of course, could not stand idly by. He pointed, his finger becoming a sword, and executed "Sudden Clap of Thunder," a move from the *Primordial Sword Classic*.
The strike was like a bolt of lightning, gone in a flash, aimed at a point Fang Shuwen would be forced to defend.
Fang Shuwen, however, didn’t even spare it a glance. With a casual wave of his left hand and a sharp TING, the streak of light was instantly sent flying back.
Having anticipated such a counter, Ye Wufeng was already moving, his footwork shifting constantly to evade the returned strike.
He also knew, in that instant, that their best chance to kill Fang Shuwen had passed. To try and kill him now would be nearly impossible.
Fang Shuwen paid no mind to Ye Wufeng’s thoughts. Channeling the power of the Eight-direction Burst into his fist, he thundered straight toward Mu Tiange.
With a deafening BOOM, the "Whirling Snow" surrounding Mu Tiange was obliterated by the punch, the wind dying and the snow vanishing in an instant.
’This is bad...’ he thought, but Fang Shuwen’s second fist was already upon him.
Left with no other choice, he clasped his hands together to meet the blow head-on.
But how could Fang Shuwen’s fist be so easily blocked?
The moment his arms met the fist, two sickening cracks echoed. CRACK! CRACK!
His arm bones shattered instantly. The immense force crushed his arms and slammed violently into his chest.
PTHOO!
Mu Tiange sprayed a mouthful of blood. He barely managed to stay on his feet as he was sent flying back several dozen yards.
Before he could even regain his footing, Fang Shuwen had once again vanished from his sight.
A thought flashed through his mind, and snowflakes began to swirl—it was "Blade of Condensed Snow," another move from the *Thousand Snow Annihilation Art*.
But before the snow could fully form, a single palm strike scattered it to the winds.
The violent backlash of his True Qi sent a fresh trickle of blood from the corner of Mu Tiange’s mouth, but he had no time to worry about it.
Fang Shuwen’s fist was already closing in.
Pitifully, Mu Tiange’s arms were broken. Even if he had the will to resist, he no longer had the means.
Fang Shuwen’s fist slammed directly into his chest, the impact causing his shoulders to cave inward and the clothes on his back to burst apart.
He tried to say something more, but a hand clamped down on his head. Fang Shuwen’s palm covered his crown, and with a downward surge of Inner Strength—CRUNCH!
The Pavilion Master of the Thousand Snow Pavilion, one of the Five Great Forces, was forced to his knees.
Fang Shuwen looked down at him, his expression complex.
"Look at you," he said. "Everything was fine. Why did you have to do this?"
"Young Master Tinghua was arrogant and tyrannical. He died, and that’s that. Ultimately, it was your failure to raise him properly."
"Was it worth sacrificing the entire Thousand Snow Pavilion for a scoundrel like him?"
"He... was my brother!"
Mu Tiange glared furiously at Fang Shuwen.
"If your family were killed... wouldn’t you seek revenge?"
Fang Shuwen shook his head.
"I don’t have any wastrels like that in my family."
Mu Tiange tried to speak again, but he suddenly felt the Inner Strength throughout his body spiral out of control, surging toward the palm Fang Shuwen held on his head.
He was horrified. His eyes instinctively searched for Ye Wufeng.
’This was supposed to be a two-on-one fight. Why am I the only one left?’
He had questions, but he could no longer voice them.
Once every last shred of his Inner Strength had been drained by Fang Shuwen, Fang Shuwen lifted his palm and gave a light tap.
THUD!
Mu Tiange’s corpse collapsed to the ground.
Even in death, he never got to ask why Ye Wufeng hadn’t come to his aid.
But Fang Shuwen knew. After his finger-sword attack had been effortlessly turned back, Ye Wufeng had fled.
He hadn’t run toward the main gates of the Sword God Palace, however. He had run to its rear mountain.
After killing Mu Tiange, Fang Shuwen began to make his way unhurriedly toward the rear mountain.
Ye Wufeng would not escape.
Today, the Sword God Palace would also be annihilated!
