The exclamation came from a tall and skinny elder standing beside Tu Jie. He was staring at Cang Lu in horror. This elder was from the Corpse Devil Sect.
“The Bloodfiend Devil Lord? What’s that?” asked another elder. Despite both being experts from the primal chaos era, not everyone had heard of this name.
The Corpse Devil Sect elder’s expression shifted multiple times, and he was silent for a long moment. In the end, he said, “You might not have heard of the Bloodfiend Devil Lord, but you’ve heard of the Dark Sons, haven’t you?”

Long Chen then turned towards everyone from the academy. He nodded to Zhao Yue, Ling Yu, Long Ziwei, and the others. Finally, his gaze fell on Du Xinhe. And the moment their eyes met, Du Xinhe shivered. His whole body tightened up. He felt as if a primordial beast were eyeing him.
Within the first academy, Du Xinhe was undoubtedly one of the most outstanding disciples. Other than Zhao Yue, who was his natural bane, he didn’t view anyone as a match for him. In all fairness, he was qualified to have that opinion. He was truly powerful among his generation.
He was also competitive, and didn’t know how to be low-key. Meanwhile, when Zhao Yue came back from the heaven region’s battlefield, she had become much more reserved. At the time, Du Xinhe had advanced and thought that Zhao Yue was actually afraid of him.

Long Chen sighed and shook his head.
He had actually heard about this from Miao Yin. Her network had stretched into the High Firmament Academy as well. Apparently, one the top heavenly geniuses here was her follower! The experts from the branch academies who had come to reinforce the first academy stepped forward.
