Zi Yan shouted, preventing everyone from attacking the Nether Emperor. She was the first to realize that something was off. Long Chen’s aura fluctuations were now on the same wavelength as the Nether Emperor’s. If they were to attack the Nether Emperor now, it would injure Long Chen’s soul. Although she wasn’t sure what Long Chen was doing, she knew that he had temporarily suppressed the Nether Emperor.

The others also looked at each other, seeing each other’s confusion. None of them had heard this name before.
“They were an evil nation back in the primal chaos era, known for using their citizens as weapons. They used the cruelest methods imaginable to survive and grow. After the primal chaos war, they vanished without a trace. They never appeared again, and everyone assumed that they were destroyed. I didn’t think that they actually survived,” explained Long Chen.
He had read about the Bloodfiend Divine Kingdom in an ancient text at the academy, but what he had just explained was actually everything that was written. The scroll hadn’t gone into any kind of detail about them apart from this brief mention.
“Let them in. I want to see what they’re up to,” said Long Chen.
The Elder hesitated. “Senior Long Chen, there is a triple-manifestation Divine Sovereign amongst them. If we let him in...”
The Full Moon Sect’s formation was still not complete. While the barrier functioned well enough against external threats, it was not effective against attacks from the inside. If they let a triple-manifestation Divine Sovereign walk in and they started fighting, the divine capital would be turned into ruins.
Not letting him in would make it seem as if they didn’t have any confidence. But letting him in was a major threat.
“Don’t worry, he can’t cause any waves. Let them in!” said Long Chen.
It wasn’t long before dozens of figures walked inside. They wore strange robes, and Bloodfiend Qi radiated from them.
“What a strong baleful aura...”
Zi Yan narrowed her eyes when they walked in. The first impression they gave her was very discomforting.
