Chapter 4166 - Lin Ya’s Secret (6)
Chapter 4166: Lin Ya’s Secret (6)
“Don’t waste my time. Let’s begin.”
Qin Chu looked at the imposter Jing De and asked, “The first question: who are you?”
“Hehe. I don’t know who I am…”
Obviously, Qin Chu wasn’t satisfied with this answer; he stabbed the dagger into his body near the edge of Jing De’s ribs.
The stab was accurate and vicious, causing Jing De to moan in pain.
Without pulling the dagger out, Qin Chu continued to ask, “The second question: who’s your master?”
“My master… You don’t deserve to know.”
Jing De laughed overbearingly, looking totally different from his usual dumb and honest image.
With a slight sigh, Qin Chu grabbed the handle and pulled the dagger out suddenly; before Jing De could take a breath, he stabbed again, into the wound again.
This stab caused excruciating pain.
“Ahh…”
Finally, Jing De yelled.
“If you don’t want to suffer, you must tell me the truth.”
“Fellow… Hehe, when did you find out that I’m an imposter?” the man looked at Qin Chu and asked.
“From the first day you came.”
“Impossible. You couldn’t have seen through me so soon…” He seemed confident in his pretense and the story he made up; at least, Yang Meirong and Zhixin believed him.
“You showed yourself to Zhixin near the Civil Affairs Bureau, but no cameras caught your image, which told me you’re not the honest Uncle Jing. He’d not know how many cameras there are at a crossing. But you’re not like him.”
“So, this gave me away… But didn’t Huo Mian take my hair to do a DNA test? You don’t even believe the result of gene comparison?”
“You know Mian took your hair.” Qin Chu gasped.
“Of course. I left my hair to her purposefully to gain your trust.” Jing De looked pleased with himself.
“Unfortunately, we were more suspicious after we got the result.”
“Why?”
“Because we just don’t believe in the bullshit of resurrection. It’s not scientific for people to come back after being dead for many years.”
“Scientific? Haha. Don’t tell me about science. I tell you, there’re many things that science can’t explain. Don’t believe in the so-called science…”
Hearing the strange words from the guy, Qin Chu had a feeling that he truly couldn’t get any information from this guy.
The fellow looked as if he wasn’t afraid of anything…
“About the cats and dogs in the community. Did you do it?”
Qin Chu changed to an unimportant question.
“Not only cats and dogs, but the children as well…” Jing De gave a distorted smile.
“Why?”
Hearing Jing De admitted taking the children, Qin Chu’s heart ached; as a father, he related to the deep love and sorrow of those children’s parents.
“Because I have to eat… Your food is inedible to me.”
“You ate them?” Qin Chu’s heart sank further.
“Kind of. They’re dead anyway…”
“Where are the bodies?”
“Are you helping your police friend crack the case?” Jing De looked at Qin Chu with a provoking smile.
Qin Chu didn’t reply…
Jing De continued, “They are in the artificial lake in the community.”
Even though he had expected the kids were dead, Qin Chu still felt sad when he heard it from Jing De.
“If I said I was a vampire, will you believe me?” Jing De asked.
