Chapter 658: Armistice Agreement (Part 2)
Of course, one couldn’t judge solely by a planet’s size. But generally, the larger the planet, the higher the quality and quantity of the Spiritual Energy (the Heart of the Planet) it birthed.
Just as the great war was about to erupt, Chiba Yuki finally succeeded, becoming the Master of Mars.
Mars shuddered and roared. Chiba Yuki flew out from the planet’s depths, her white Hunting Kimono fluttering. She arrived at Li Xiang’s side and bowed slightly. “Master, I have fulfilled my duty.”
‘She was so excited. She’d finally made it in time for the great war!’
Meanwhile, the black mist above Mars receded like the tide. It pulled back to a distance of about six hundred kilometers from the planet’s surface, and an invisible Force Field enveloped all of Mars.
“Good!”
With the Master of Mars joining them, their chances of winning this tough battle had increased.
Seeing Chiba Yuki’s success, Jiang Cai’Er’s Digital Life Clone grew excited as well. She maneuvered three Divine King Level Stellar Mother Ships into the sky, deploying over two million Computing Satellites into Martian orbit.
The densely packed Computing Satellites entered their designated orbits and instantly formed a network. The moment the network went live, Jiang Cai’Er’s main body on Earth underwent a change in aura. Simultaneously, all of her Digital Life Clones throughout the star system experienced an extremely special and profound transformation.
Sensing this change, Li Xiang looked at the Digital Life Clone of Jiang Cai’Er beside him in delighted surprise. “Cai’Er, you’ve entered the Planet Dominator Realm too?”
“Mhm,” Jiang Cai’Er replied with a gentle nod.
The other women were thrilled, but also incredibly envious.
The Planet Dominator Realm came with a lifespan of hundreds of thousands of years.
Of course, Jiang Cai’Er had achieved her Fusion with Quantum Computers and Computing Satellites. These weren’t naturally formed celestial bodies, but man-made objects with limited service lives. Each unit could only operate for thirty to fifty years at most. However, she could continuously upgrade and replace them. Over time, her Quantum Computers and Computing Satellites could even iterate, producing progressively more technologically advanced versions.
A planet, on the other hand—a naturally formed “machine” in the universe—is essentially set in its ways from the moment of its birth. It can’t be upgraded and iterated like Jiang Cai’Er’s Quantum Computers. As for which of the two paths was superior, it was truly hard to say.
There was no shortage of energy, minerals, or Computing Power in the Solar Element to produce Quantum Computers and Computing Satellites. Even if they did eventually run short, they could always organize an interstellar fleet to mine in deep space.
The Mars faction now had three experts at the Planet Dominator Realm: Li Xiang, Chiba Yuki, and Jiang Cai’Er. They also had six at the Divine King Realm: Yao Yao, Zhao Xueqing, Lei Xiaohui, Erin, and the Twin Gouyu. On top of that, they had eleven Divine King Level Stellar Mother Ships, a network of Land-Based High-Energy Ion Cannons and Laser Cannons across the surface of Mars, and three hundred million immigrants.
These three hundred million immigrants were all young and able-bodied. Among them were three million Extraordinary Beings. Even those who weren’t Extraordinary could wield the newly developed Electric Pulse Guns, which were effective against Exotic Beasts. It was, in effect, a civilian militia.
Even so, the war was still an extremely arduous struggle. The sheer number of Space Exotic Beasts was overwhelming—a staggering fifty billion of them surrounded Mars, layer upon layer, leaving no escape.
Many of the Computing Satellites Jiang Cai’Er had just launched were hit and destroyed. But it didn’t matter; she had backups and continued to replenish them. Chiba Yuki also did her best to protect the satellites.
By the end of the fight, even Li Xiang was injured to the point of coughing up blood. The women were utterly exhausted and covered in wounds.
However, the enemy faction wasn’t faring much better. Of their four Planet Dominator Realm beasts, one was dead and another heavily wounded. The fifty-billion-strong Exotic Beast Army had suffered over fifty percent casualties, leaving just over twenty billion remaining.
Suddenly, an abrupt change occurred.
A spatial rift suddenly tore open above the battlefield, and a peerlessly graceful figure charged out. With a gentle sweep of her Frost Splintering Sky Stab, a black, silk-like ribbon of energy thousands of kilometers long unfurled, decapitating the wounded Planet Dominator Realm Exotic Beast in a single blow.
Li Xiang exclaimed in delight, “Feifei, you’ve ascended to the Planet Dominator Realm?”
The newcomer was none other than Luo Feifei. Her figure flickered, and as if teleporting, she appeared at Li Xiang’s side. She gave him a radiant smile. “I found a new home,” she said, “and had a few fortuitous encounters.”
Her smile seemed to illuminate the entire Solar Element.
For a fleeting moment, it seemed as though all the black mist in the Solar Element had vanished, allowing sunlight to bathe everything.
Even the Twin Gouyu, Erin, and Chiba Yuki, who all considered themselves peerless goddesses, couldn’t help but seem dim in Luo Feifei’s presence. As for Yao Yao, Zhao Xueqing, and Lei Xiaohui, the difference was even more pronounced.
Moreover, Luo Feifei had fought her way to the Planet Dominator Realm on her own, unlike them, who had relied on Li Xiang to advance.
The two remaining Planet Dominators of the enemy faction: “…”
Without a second thought, they turned and fled.
They left the remaining twenty to thirty billion Space Exotic Beasts in utter chaos on the battlefield. Li Xiang led the women to press their advantage, but the enemy was simply too numerous to kill completely. Furthermore, they were all injured themselves. After chasing for half a day and driving the Exotic Beast Army into deep space, they all returned.
Jiang Cai’Er was a Digital Life Clone, so her injuries could be healed simply by replenishing enough Computing Satellites. Luo Feifei, being fresh to the fight, was completely unscathed. Therefore, Li Xiang took the other seven women deep into Mars to recuperate in the Dark Cosmic Space.
Luo Feifei didn’t join them. Instead, she went to Ceres to clear out the Exotic Beasts there. Although Ceres was small, it served as another one of her Clones within the Solar Element.
Once Yao Yao and the other six women emerged from their seclusion, they also went to seven satellites to clear out the Exotic Beasts there.
