Ms. Diviner: The Prodigal Daughter's Return

Chapter 1906 - 2005: Let Everything Be Destroyed

Chapter 1906: Chapter 2005: Let Everything Be Destroyed

The power of this arrow might no longer match what it once was, but that was only in regard to her; to everyone else, the might of this sword was still enough to speak of destroying heaven and annihilating sky!

Han Yan’s heart felt as if it were pierced through by a sharp blade, as if it were torn into shreds!

In her mind, a scene from memory resurfaced once more: a vast, distant Earth that seemed both faraway and eerily familiar, countless commoners dying amidst the flames of war, helpless women crying out in grief, newborn infants ignorant of the world stretching out tiny arms, letting out tender wails.

Sword Light flashed past, blood light soared to the heavens; in the city that had already become a ruin, blood flowed like rivers, only those pairs of lifeless eyes, carrying Life’s final despair, gazed upon this world that was no different from Hell.

The same images kept flashing through her mind; after endless desolation, hostility that could no longer be suppressed arose within Han Yan’s heart.

"Destruction. Only by destroying all of this can this world regain its peace!" A mad thought kept breeding in the depths of her heart.

Suddenly, Han Yan threw back her head and howled to the heavens; her gaze became so cold, so merciless, a fierce killing intent surfaced upon her body.

The sound of wind sweeping across the wilds turned broken and intermittent, as though sobbing with a trembling voice.

Endless Power of Laws converged from all directions without distinction, pouring into her body. In that instant, she seemed to fuse with heaven and Earth, and yet stand above them.

Han Yan Ye once again felt that long-lost Destruction Path. That’s right, destruction—destroy all things under heaven!

Under a force unbound by heaven and Earth, Han Yan floated up into midair; the cold wind stirred her long hair, her eyes a haze of emptiness, holding only boundless intent to kill.

"Die. All of you, go die. Only slaughter can bring an end to all of this, only destruction can change all of this!" A voice kept roaring in the depths of her heart.

At last, Han Yan swung out another Sword Slash.

The wind halted, the clouds stilled, all things in that instant froze.

"Bang!" With a dull boom, that black arrow shattered, turning into a cloud of dust-smoke.

Sword Light cleaved out, invisible Qi Light swept across the Earth; the tide of charging bandits was like a field being plowed straight through by a giant rake, a perfectly straight empty avenue opening at the center. In merely the blink of an eye, over a thousand bandits were reduced to nothingness, without even managing to leave a single trace upon this world.

The remaining force of that invisible Sword Light had not yet abated, and continued chopping toward Mo Jiu.

Mo Jiu’s expression changed drastically; he drew his longbow and fired another arrow, but this time, that black arrow had flown less than a single zhang before it fractured apart, and then likewise vanished into nothingness.

"No, impossible!" Mo Jiu cried out in a harsh, shocked voice, seeming as if he meant to turn and flee; yet before he could move at all, he was swallowed by that invisible Sword Light.

"Ah..." Amid a scream of agony, torrents of blood blasted from his entire body, and then he too completely faded into nothing and disappeared.

Stronger than the others by a sliver, Mo Jiu at least managed to utter a final scream before he died—but that was all.

All around, everyone was struck dumb.

One sword. Merely one sword, and over a thousand bandits were left without bones or corpses; even Mo Jiu met the very same end.

You must know that just a short while ago, Mo Jiu had broken through Huayu temple’s Palace Protection Array, and even Divine Gifted Heavenly Power had been shattered by a single arrow of his.

Turning their gazes once more to Han Yan, all the bandits revealed looks of terror. Judging from what they’d seen just now, she was clearly heavily wounded, utterly without the strength to strike; who could have imagined that in the blink of an eye, she would slay Mo Jiu, along with those thousand bandits, in a single Sword Slash.

The remaining bandits, faces full of fright, involuntarily backed away, then suddenly turned and fled toward outside the city.
