Chapter 4329 Two Grimms

Chapter 4329  Two Grimms

A few minutes later, I slowed down and looked ahead to where the battle was being fought.

It is rare to see such a scene in which both of those who are fighting are Grimms.

I have seen such scenes only a few times. Usually, the Grimms keep their shit together, at least when they are out of their domain.

One is a Red Eyes Cheetaman, while the other is a Bone Horned Rhinoman.

The Cheetaman is a Mid-Prime, while the Rhinoman is a High-Prime, but both of them have about the same strength. It could be said that Cheetaman is slightly stronger despite a level lower because of having more ancestral power.

Yes, they have ancestral power, and both of them use it. This is enough to say that these two are very serious about fighting each other.

I didn't move toward them. I watched it from a distance; I was going to let them fight the battle.

I wouldn't have if they hadn't used ancestral power since they were doing it. I am going to let them while I watch their move and study them.

I am also collecting samples of their energies, including their ancestral power.

Like the laws, each Grimm's ancestral power is also different. The kind of ancestral power they have depends not on comprehension but on the abomination ancestor.

For the Grimms, it is pretty much set in stone. The kind of forbidden power they will gain.

A minute passed, and then another, and before I knew it, twenty minutes had passed, and they were still fighting, but their fighting had slowed down considerably.

The intent to kill is still burning, but they have realized that they will not be able to kill each other.

At least not today.

Two and a half minutes passed, and they have finally stopped fighting and cursed at each other before moving toward their separate ways when Cheetaman suddenly stooped and turned—making the Rhinoman stop as well.

It is because cautious toward others but soon find out the focus is not on it.

It kept looking at empty space before a grin appeared on its face. A moment later, a yellow lance materialized in its hand, throwing it toward the empty.

Clang!

The lance appeared before me. I summoned my sword and defended against it.

"Human!" Rhinoman called out in shock.

"I have to say, you are quite a good human. You got so close to us without getting discovered," said Cheetaman with a grin.

"That's because you are weak as shit," I replied, with a smile showing the cautiousness.

It is a real cautiousness despite everything being an act. These two are nearly as powerful as the Werewolf, which I had fought, and here, there are two of them.

"You shouldn't say such things to the people who held your life in their hands," said Cheetman. To that, I laughed.

"I might have feared you if any of you were able to kill each other, but you are not," I replied with a careless shrug, making sparks of anger light up in their eyes.

"We were not able to kill each other because we are strong. You, on the other hand, are weak. We won't have any problem finishing you off," replied the Rhinoman.

A moment later, both of them shared a look and moved toward me before appearing to my left and right.

"Surrender, and it will be almost painless death; resist, and we will give you the pain that will make you beg for death," offered Cheetaman.

I wanted to roll my eyes, hearing the same old warning. It is the same in my world. Many times, I have wondered whether they are trained for such threats, but they are not.

It comes natural to them.

"Make me!" I challenged with a grin, and a moment later, my aura blazed, and I attacked.

Burst 50%!

Their eyes turned serious after seeing my attack, and their auras blazed. The lines of ancestral power appeared on their bodies, and their aura's strengthened.

They responded, and their response was forceful. Cheetaman attacked with the saber, while the Rhinoman with the Greatsword.

Yellow lightning blazed on the Cheetaman's attack, while bones white power covered the attack of the Rhinoman.

CLANG!

My sword clashed against Cheetaman's saber, and the yellow lightning filled with the ancestral power covered my sword and came at me, tearing through all defenses.

At the same time, Rhinoman appeared behind me and attacked me with its great sword.

CLANG!

It had crossed half of the distance when an arm. Holding a black longsword appeared through my back and defended against it.

As it shook the bone, white power came at me. Covering my armor just like lightning before seeping into my armor.

My clones have made massive progress against the ancestral power, but not enough to stop the energies if they wanted, as they do with the other energies.

It will seep inside here, but this time, I am controlling from where it could seep through. Some streams had seemed to be non-designated ways, but my armor adapted quickly.

As both energies entered inside, the formations filled them. Each one is filled with both energies.

As it did, it pressed them against each other. It is risky to do that, and I have designed it for the normal Grimm energy and not the one with the ancestral power.

At first, these energies avoided clashing with each other. Grimm energies do not clash unless the master will it, but when space shrinks, and formations apply pressure, they begin to clash against each other.

Creating a powerful but controlled explosion, which my formations used to power themselves and force the energies with even greater pressure.

It is such a waste to deal with the energies this way when there is someone who wants it, but I couldn't separate the ancestral power and mollify it without a risk.

So, until I do that, I will destroy the energy instead of feeding it to the tree, despite wanting to do that very much.
