Chapter 4302 Battle II
Chapter 4302 Battle II
The woman stopped suddenly and looked at me intently.
I could see the spark of anger appearing in her eyes as she looked at her partner struggling with my shield.
I don't know whether her anger is directed at me or her partner, which is good because I like people when they are angry or show other emotions.
It forces them to make a mistake, which I could exploit.
"We had spent a lot of money on information about you, but it seemed like our broker had duped us," she said. I shook my head.
"Unlikely. As I had said before, I had used the forbidden power crystals to break another of my seals. Gaining more of my power back," I replied with a smile.
It made hesitation flash in her eyes, but only for a moment. The next second, her eyes before a firm and powerful aura blasted out of her body.
Burst 75%.
The increase surprised me. It is huge, and I reacted instantly, increasing the burst to 75%.
"Then let me see how powerful you have become," she replied, swinging her saber, which was covered in green steely energy and vibrating at a dangerous level.
Seeing the move, my expressions become serious. It's a dangerous move. In response, runes lit up inside me.
A moment later, my sword was covered in fractal patterns of energy.
CLANNG!
My sword clashed against her saber and immediately. Vibrating energy infused with saber law power came at me. Cracking the fractal energy covering my sword in very thin cracks before turning it into a fine powder and then coming at me.
By then, the intensity of vibrations had lessened, but only by 15%.
It covered me while trying to crack my armor, but it was far from easy. There is only one way my armor could be overcome by the energy.
The energy needs to attack from inside with a force that is powerful enough that it would destroy thousands of tiny little formations through sheer force.
If they want to do that from the outside, the vibrations need to be much stronger. The vibrations are strong, but not that strong.
She moved for another attack, and so did I. I have a pretty good idea of her strength, and I don't like it, but it excited me as it would be challenging to defeat her.
CLANNNG!
Our weapons clashed once more, and more vibrations came, destroying the improved fractal patterns.
While it was happening, I launched the attack. I didn't even wait for the vibration to cover me. It is powerful, but not enough to harm me.
So, I wouldn't wait for it to be done.
CLANNNG CLANNNG CLANNNG!
She defended before attacking me, and I defended before attacking her.
We begin to fight intensely and begin to use every move I have. It is mostly she attacked with the different moves; I kept my attacks simple.
It is what I am good at. However, if there are peculiar attacks like vibrations, I would activate the counter.
Seconds passed and turned into minutes. Our attacks got stronger every second. Still, I begin to use every ounce of power the current burst is giving me.
I am enjoying the battle. My opponent is not so much. There is a hidden frown on her face.
Burst 100%.
Another minute passed, and I activated the full burst. A powerful aura shot out of me, making her expressions turn bad.
When one releases an aura, it is not only powers but also shows how much one uses it.
It is especially when one reaches near the limit. It is why it is so easy to recognize when one is using their full power. Here, I am doing it; unlike the others, my aura isn't showing I am at the limit despite being at the limit.
It is what made her expressions turn bad. She had realized she had misjudged my power by a lot.
Still, she is not the one to back out.
She would have if we had been fighting in a secluded space with no eyes. Here, there are many people watching. Besides, I had told her before the battle began that I wouldn't be killing her.
Many would have backed out because of the defeat they would suffer, but not this woman.
Instead, she summoned her full strength. It made me serious internally.
"Let's end this," I said with a grin and moved at her full power. She responded with a sharp storm of sharp green energy covering her saber.
We attacked, swinging our weapons toward each other, filled with the intention of defeating one another. No matter how tall the task seemed.
CLANNNG CLANNNG CLANNNG!
Our weapons clashed, and a fraction of seconds later, they clashed again and again.
We clash fast and hard. Coming at each other from every direction we could, but the other one was always prepared and defended.
It is as frustrating as it is exciting.
We are frustrated, but it is nothing compared to the elf fighting the shield. He has just screamed in frustration and attacked my shield.
He used all kinds of attacks, including covering the sky with the attack before coming at me.
My shield split in two. One stopped the long-range attack, and the other stopped him before merging back. Though it might not seem like it, he had come quite to slipping in one of those times.
I focused on the battle in front of me.
Seconds passed, and our attacks got intense. Still, I begin to use every ounce of energy I have and begin to dig into my body for more.
I need to defeat this woman; Carter is suppressed. If things continued, others from Belial's Star might join, and that wouldn't be good, but it's difficult.
This woman is powerful.
I had just thought that when I saw the opportunity. Immediately, the runes across my armor lit up, and I moved toward her with the speed I had never moved in the battle.
Rip!
I got close enough that her saber cut through. Not me, my armor, it is just hair breath away from cutting through my skin.
However, the next moment, she pulled back her saber and tried to defend herself against my weapon with genuine fear appearing in her eyes as my sword moved toward her.
BAMMM!
It reached her and was about to cut her when I flicked my wrist. A moment later, my sword crashed against her, but not with a sharp end.
It is the back of my sword that hit her.
I heard the crack of her bones, and she vomited blood as she plunged back toward the ground like a burning comet.
