Chapter 6646: The Furious Divine Deer

Jie Tianran stared at Chu Feng.

Both Chu Feng and Little Fishy were cloaked in a layer of white light.

Little Fishy was not surprised by the situation, having known beforehand that Chu Feng had a secret hand if they encountered danger. Chu Feng also knew right away that it was the Divine Deer.

Soon, the white light expanded outward and manifested into a young lady. Her skin was as smooth as jade, and she wore a green dress. She commanded a domineering disposition that kept others at bay.

She was the Divine Deer.

Jie Tianran and the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion’s elders examined the Divine Deer. They, too, had realized that the Divine Deer was the reason behind Chu Feng’s fearlessness.

Chu Feng didn’t expect the Divine Deer to reveal herself. So far, she had only channeled her powers to bring him to safety.

The Divine Deer looked at Jie Tianran with a disdainful gaze. “I’ll be taking Chu Feng away with me now. Do you think you can stop me?”

“Are you taunting me right now?” Jie Tianran sneered.

“Taunt you? Would you taunt a mere ant?”

“What arrogance. Like master, like servant. Since you asked for it, I’ll let you have a taste of my means.”

Jie Tianran pulled out two talisman papers emanating ancient auras and formed a hand seal. The two talisman papers were set ablaze. They transformed into two giant aura dragons that surged into the sky. As they ascended, their bodies gradually became increasingly corporeal and larger.

In the blink of an eye, the two dragons had already surged out of the realm into space. Their massive bodies coiled around the realm, and the realm began to quake.

Towering waves gushed from one of the dragons’ bodies, forming a humongous barrier that sealed off the realm. These waves were so huge that some of them fell as torrential rain upon the realm.

Then, the other dragon unleashed waves of frigid air.

The frigid air also formed a barrier that enveloped the realm. Under its intense coldness, the torrential rain transformed into a furious snowstorm that dyed the entire realm white.

But the true threat lay in the barriers of surging frost and water above. These two barriers harnessed incomparable prowess. The frost barrier was impenetrable, and the water barrier was treacherous.

Sensing the danger they posed, Chu Feng was nervous. He sent a voice transmission to the Divine Deer, “Elder.”

The Divine Deer immediately replied, “You have nothing to worry about.”

She looked at Jie Tianran in contempt.

Jie Tianran’s face darkened. He didn’t like the Divine Deer’s attitude. She behaved as if everything was within her control, and everyone else was just playing second fiddle to her. Furthermore, he could sense that her attitude was not just superficial but that she earnestly looked down on him from the bottom of her heart.

“A mere ant you are indeed.”

Had these words been from anyone else, they would have come across as an insult. But from the Divine Deer, it felt like she was stating a fact. At least to her, Jie Tianran was truly no better than an ant.

The proof lay in how easily the Divine Deer flitted out of the realm with Chu Feng and Little Fishy. It was as if the impenetrable frost barrier and dangerous water barrier were nonexistent to her; she didn’t even have to destroy the barriers to traverse through them.

“Your grandson’s secret hand is quite something,” the old entity inside Jie Tianran’s body said.

Jie Tianran’s hands trembled under his sleeves. It was a rare show of emotions from him. His repeated failures against Chu Feng eroded his confidence, unraveling his composure. He let out a deafening roar of frustration.

“Run, Chu Feng! Run as far as you can. You declared war on the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion because you learned about your grandmother’s death. That foolish woman turned against me for you. She deserved to die for that, but all this wouldn’t have happened if not for you.

“You want to avenge Nianqing, don’t you? But you are weak and incompetent. All you have been able to do in my presence is run.”

Jie Tianran’s voice boomed across space, reaching Chu Feng’s ears.

“That shameless old thing!” Eggy sneered in anger. She wanted to step out from her World Spirit Space to cuss at Jie Tianran.

Even Little Fishy looked livid. Her little mouth puffed up in anger, and she was more than ready to defend Chu Feng’s honor.

But Chu Feng stopped them. “Ignore him.”

He didn’t look frustrated at all. As much as he hated Jie Tianran and wanted to avenge his grandmother, he wasn’t so weak-minded as to fall for such elementary taunts.

However, the Divine Deer stopped and turned around to look at Jie Tianran.

“Look at how old you are, and how old Chu Feng is,” the Divine Deer scoffed.

She placed a hand on her hip while pointing at Jie Tianran with her other hand. Her cold and lofty expression was now replaced with fury.

“Shameless old thing, look at your own face. Can you even call that wrinkled thing a face? You’re practically a bun now. Even calling you a bun is an insult to all buns. Buns have fewer wrinkles than you.

“How long have you been cultivating for now? How thick-skinned do you have to be to call yourself a prodigy when you have been stuck at Heavenly Dragon for many years now? Have you buried your shame in that thick pastry face of yours?

“Tell me, where do you find the confidence to bark so loudly when you can’t even stop a mere junior from escaping? It’s almost like you take pride in that. I don’t know much about the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion, but your predecessors must be blind to let trash like you inherit their mantle.”

The Seven Realms Sacred Mansion’s elders stiffened in shock.

No one could have expected such crude words from the lofty lady. Even Chu Feng and Little Fishy were stunned. This was Chu Feng’s first time seeing the Divine Deer cussing someone out like that.

After the Divine Deer spoke her piece, she regained her earlier composure as if nothing had happened. She looked at Jie Tianran and calmly continued, “Ant, cherish the times you get to see Chu Feng flee. Once he stops fleeing, you’ll be the one to flee.”

The Divine Deer disappeared together with Chu Feng and Little Fishy, but her words continued to echo in the surroundings.

These words cut deeper into Jie Tianran and the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion’s elders than her earlier insult.

Indeed, Chu Feng was just a junior, and he was growing at a rapid pace. He had come a long way since the first time he wreaked havoc in the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion.

If Little Fishy had grown so strong after reaching Heavenly God level, they shuddered to imagine how strong Chu Feng, the number one prodigy of the world of cultivation, would be once he overcame the hurdle and reached the Heavenly God and Heavenly Dragon levels.

None of them was confident of dealing with him.
