Within the school, there was a restricted area.
Fang Xiu had been studying here for nearly three years, but he’d never been able to enter it.

The student let out an embarrassed cough.
He lowered his head, too mortified to speak.

The more he thought about it, the more embarrassed he became. He wished a hole would open up in the ground so he could just crawl inside.
The gate to the restricted area was opened.
Fang Xiu saw that inside, there was a shimmering light, similar to the one in his home.
But this one was two meters high and at least a meter wide.
If this was the "gate" of the Gate World, then the one at his house was a window at best.
"Alright, students of each class, follow your teachers and enter the Gate World!"
Yue Tianrui spoke once more.
Following his words, the numerous students, led by their homeroom teachers, excitedly walked toward the Gate World Passage.
Fang Xiu saw that just as Lu Yu’er was about to enter the Gate World, she turned to look at him and made a throat-slitting gesture.
"Teacher Xia, she’s threatening me!"
Fang Xiu didn’t hesitate for a second before telling Xia Yunmeng.
She looked toward the Gate World Passage and happened to see Lu Yu’er’s gesture.
Lu Yu’er also heard Fang Xiu’s voice, and her hand froze mid-gesture, forgetting to pull it back.
’Holy crap, we’re high school seniors and he’s still pulling this "I’m telling the teacher" crap?’
A thousand curses raced through Lu Yu’er’s mind.
Then she turned and entered the Gate World.
"Fang Xiu, I’ve heard about what happened between you and Lu Yu’er. Don’t worry, I’ll protect you after we enter the Gate World," Xia Yunmeng said very seriously.
Then she added a reminder, "But Fang Xiu, you have to be careful too. No starting fights for no reason, okay?"
"Yes, Teacher. I won’t. I’m just a Sacrificial Master, what can I do? You’ll have to make sure you protect me then!"
Fang Xiu gave a completely harmless smile.

"Hello? Fang Xiu, why do you keep hanging up on me?"
Xia Yunmeng’s voice came through. Her tone wasn’t blaming.
"Sorry, Teacher. I just entered the Gate World and was a bit disoriented. I must have hung up by accident."
As Fang Xiu spoke, he got his bearings and started walking forward.
This Gate World was different from the one in his house; it was much more desolate.
There were only some weeds and huge rocks.
"Is that so? I just remembered as I came in that the school’s Gate World Passage teleports us to random locations. It’s different from the ones I’ve been to before. Where are you? I’ll come get you!"
From the sound of her voice, it was clear Xia Yunmeng wasn’t lying.
"I’m at... I don’t know where I am either."
Fang Xiu genuinely didn’t know his location.
"Turn on your ’Little Genius’ emergency watch. I can use it to pinpoint your location. Don’t wander off, you hear me?"
Xia Yunmeng said hurriedly.
"Okay!"
After saying that, Fang Xiu turned on the watch.
"Okay, I’ve got your location. Stay right where you are, don’t move. I’m coming to find you now!"
Xia Yunmeng said.
Fang Xiu acknowledged her and then hung up.
Then he continued walking forward.
He thought he saw a figure in the distance. It wasn’t human.
