Chapter 3006 - 3015: Unknown Phone Number
Chapter 3006: Chapter 3015: Unknown Phone Number
Genius is inherently genius, it’s never possible to be like ordinary people.
Forcing him to be like ordinary people is actually as presumptuous as ordinary parents forcing their children to excel.
Since Enna Clark realized this, she regretted insisting on sending him to an ordinary elementary school. Thinking back to that time, she noticed that her Bobby always scored in the top three in exams just to keep her from worrying. But with his IQ, he could easily score full marks without a problem.
Her genius son, aside from being a bit arrogant and contradictory, is truly considerate, sensible, and manly!
"When are you coming back?" Bobby didn’t know Enna was praising him in her heart; if he knew, he might feel uneasy again.
Enna raised her wrist to look at her watch, "About fifteen minutes."
"Okay, I’ll take the little dummy to bed first. Wait until you come back to watch Conan with me! You promised me before, but then you ditched me."
Enna recalled it seemed to be true. She had canceled so many plans that sometimes she couldn’t remember, "Hmm, you take a bath too, and wait for me to come back."
"OK."
"Oh, ask Uncle Harris to make you some milk, remember to drink it." Enna didn’t forget he has a cup of milk every night.
Bobby clearly wasn’t into milk, but he agreed readily, "Got it. I’ll wait for you to come back."
Enna hung up the phone.
The car drove smoothly ahead.
Just as she expected, ten minutes later the car entered Birch Garden.
She got out of the car and was about to go in, but at that moment, Baron Lawrence’s phone suddenly rang.
She stopped, surprised, and asked, "It’s so late, who’s calling you?"
"Don’t know." The handsome man glanced at the caller ID, "It’s an unfamiliar number."
He straightforwardly hung up.
Unexpectedly, the other party persistently called again.
This time, Enna couldn’t help but say, "You should answer it, isn’t this your private number? It should be someone you know calling."
Only a few people knew Baron’s private number, and since the person called his private line, it indicated it was someone familiar.
Baron impatiently answered the call, holding her hand and carrying things, while putting the phone on speaker as he walked into the elevator.
"Speak."
"..." Enna’s lips twitched twice.
He didn’t even know who the caller was, yet he was so direct and blunt.
A static sound emitted from the phone, and the caller stayed silent for a long time, finally opening up, causing Enna to be surprised, "It’s me. Baron, I’m calling to ask you. Is it true that if I make Oscar stop, you’ll let him off the hook?"
"Who told you I would let him off the hook?" He never planned to let that man go!
Skye Lawrence was silent for a moment, tiredly saying, "Grandpa said so. He said as long as I could persuade Oscar to stop, he’d ask you to let Oscar off the hook."
Baron squinted his hawk-like eyes, turned to look at Enna nearby, as if questioning her if this was true.
Enna nodded to him.
She was on-site at the time; Skye wasn’t lying.
Baron’s deep contour was contemplative and stern, after pondering for a moment, he said, "Since the Old Man said it, I’ll give him face. But you must make sure he completely withdraws! Otherwise, I still won’t let him go!"
"I understand." Skye paused for a moment, "I called just to ask about this; now that I know the answer, I won’t bother you anymore. Good night."
