After he had walked away, at the corner of the stairs behind him, a elegantly dressed but weary-faced lady descended, looking shocked and lost. She walked so distractedly that she had to brace herself against the wall with her left hand to avoid falling.
"Ring ring ring..." At this moment, her phone rang.
The lady picked up the phone, saw the Caller ID, and took a long moment before answering, "Hello."
