Renee Anderson kept thinking about Sydney Sullivan, but she didn’t know that Sydney, who was on a business trip abroad, had already gotten off her private jet as soon as she received the call from home and headed straight for the Military Hospital where Olivia Lewis was staying.
Olivia Lewis had been lying in the Hospital for almost a month. Her injuries were almost healed. She was gnawing on an apple while chatting with her Manager when she saw Sydney Sullivan come in with her assistant, carrying a bunch of big and small bags.
"Aunt."
She hurriedly stood up to help.
"Sit down quickly, get a good rest, don’t pull on the wound on your shoulder." Sydney gave her a half-scolding, half-smiling look, and briskly instructed the assistant to sort out all the bags she had brought. "Put everything in that cabinet over there. Just take the chocolate out, and make a cup of black tea to go with it."
"Okay, President Sullivan." The assistant had been by her side for a long time; she did things just as swiftly and neatly as Sydney. She quickly put everything away by herself, then went to prepare the chocolate and black tea.
Sunny, who had a keen sense of the situation, volunteered to help. "I’ll go give Assistant Felix a hand."
After the two of them left, the ward was instantly left with only Sydney Sullivan and Olivia Lewis. Sydney found a spot on the sofa and sat down, then asked with concern, "Is your shoulder feeling better? What did the doctor say?"
Olivia sat down opposite her, a little nervous. "Much better, thank you for your concern, Aunt. The doctor said I can be discharged next week. After that I just need to be a bit careful at home."

Olivia looked at her in some confusion and suddenly asked, "Aunt, how come you came back all of a sudden? Adam Sinclair said before that you were going on a business trip for a week. I thought you wouldn’t be back in the country until the weekend."
"I had originally planned to come back on the weekend, but after I got there I realized the issue wasn’t that serious. Once it was resolved, I came back early. Oh right, I brought you some Federer Chocolate. This chocolate is completely handmade. I had their Director personally make a box. It was made this morning, and I brought it straight back. You can try how it tastes later. This type of chocolate goes particularly well with Carmen black tea; the flavor is rich and lingers. Adam said you like desserts, so you should like them too." The look in Sydney’s eyes was gentle; it was completely the gaze of an elder. It was a world apart from the way she’d kept her at arm’s length before, when she didn’t approve of her and wasn’t familiar with her.
"Mm! I do like eating chocolate, I’ve just never had the kind Aunt is talking about. I definitely have to give it a proper try later." Because of Sydney’s attitude, Olivia also relaxed. Her whole body loosened up, and her speech and behavior became much more natural.
Sydney was the kind of person who, if she didn’t approve of you, could completely ignore you and didn’t want to have any contact with you. But once she acknowledged you, she could be purely and genuinely good to you. And although Sydney’s personality was strong, at heart she was a very free-spirited person. You could see that clearly from how she treated Benjamin Sinclair. As it happened, Olivia was actually also very free-spirited. When the two of them weren’t familiar with each other, they hadn’t felt it. Now that they were gradually getting to know each other, they discovered they had a lot of topics they could talk about.
For example, Olivia often went abroad for filming and had seen all kinds of local customs in many different countries.
Sydney had also been to many countries herself and liked traveling.
