Chapter 2890 - 2899: Only Pretending to Bully Her
Chapter 2890: Chapter 2899: Only Pretending to Bully Her
Sometimes, she wonders if Gigi has endured too much pressure since childhood, which shaped her strong personality.
But in reality, the little one is the family’s little princess, with nearly everyone adoring her to the point of holding her in the palm of their hands, refusing to let her suffer any grievances.
Usually, it seems that only Bobby will occasionally knock her down a peg.
Bobby only pretends to ’bully’ her on the surface; in truth, he spoils her more than anyone. It’s the typical mindset of the men in the Lawrence Family: only they can bully their own; if others try, he’ll crush them.
So, sometimes Enna Clark is at a loss with these two little ones.
This time, it was obvious Bobby was bullying Gigi. Although she knew it wasn’t much use to speak, she still hugged the pitiful little girl, backing her up, "Bobby, don’t bully your sister."
"I wasn’t bullying her, I was just teaching her not to easily trust the words of men." The cool and handsome young boy, wise beyond his years, spoke like he was already a grown man.
Yet, he’s still a middle schooler.
Gigi, hearing that he still didn’t admit fault, raised her head from Enna Clark’s embrace and turned her head to pout, "Bad Brubby!"
"You just said you’re the bad one." Bobby responded calmly, unfazed.
The little girl began to wail, "Bad Brubby, Brubby is bad~! I won’t play with bad Brubby anymore. I want Brother Harold to draw a circle and spank you! Bad bad!"
Bobby smirked, maliciously threatening her, "Say it a few more times, and I’ll pick you up and spank you first."
Gigi, despite her anger, feared he might really spank her, so she grabbed onto Enna Clark’s clothes and turned her head to complain, "Mummy, Brubby wants to spank Gigi."
"I didn’t say I’d spank you, I just said if you kept cussing me, I’d deal with you." Bobby corrected her.
Enna Clark, stuck in the middle, was getting a headache trying to soothe the bullied little kid while giving Bobby a warning look, "Okay, stop bullying your sister, what if you make her cry?"
Bobby only teases her casually; he doesn’t really mean her any harm. Once Enna Clark spoke, he pursed his lips, "Would the little dummy cry? I haven’t seen her cry much at all."
"How could she not? Remember the time at the Hospital when you both went out to play and she fell down, scraping her knee? You were blaming yourself outside while she cried inside. She knew you were upset and insisted you go in and stay with her during the injection before she’d cooperate with the doctor. Do you remember?"
As soon as she said it, Bobby thought of that time.
He had secretly taken the little dummy to Mauritius to find his woman and the Dubious Man next door. To secretly follow his woman, he took the little one and shook off the Security Guard and Mr. Harris. But at the Night Market, a thief trying to snatch a purse appeared, and in the chaos, the little dummy got knocked over and scraped her knee. Because of her condition, everyone was alarmed and rushed her to the Hospital.
He was very remorseful at the time, almost unable to control his emotions outside. Just then, the doors of the Hospital’s emergency room flew open, and the doctor rushed out, saying that Gigi, who had been very obedient, suddenly cried and fussed to see him.
When he went in, the teary-eyed little girl immediately grabbed his hand, softly apologizing, saying she shouldn’t have disobeyed him and wandered off, asking him not to be mad.
