"Alright, I’ll talk to the Director. Actually, the Director called me this morning too. He still wants to wait for Olivia. He told me he would try to convince the Investor, but since Young Master Sinclair has no objections, the others surely won’t either." Sunny smiled, relieved that Olivia Lewis was fine. She had always been comfortable around Adam Sinclair, unlike when she was with Sydney Sullivan. She glanced at the person on the hospital bed and continued to report, "Besides ’Time Knows,’ I also got Olivia a few other jobs. One of the interviews is today, mainly for the movie promotion. Even though newcomer actors like Lydia Bell have low pay, the male lead, Jeremy Payne, is firmly Second Tier, with a good appearance and popularity. His pay is at least in the millions.
That level of investment is obviously insufficient.

"Alright," Adam Sinclair didn’t want Olivia Lewis to be too tired.
Supporting her to continue acting in that movie was the most he could handle, especially since he had read the script. It’s a modern literary film without scenes requiring wire stunts.
Sunny had sought his opinion, and was about to handle some matters when she heard the person on the bed seem to return to herself, blinking twice and opening her pale lips, "Sister Sunny..."
Sunny immediately paused, walked closer to the bedside, and gently extended her hand, touched her forehead to check the temperature, speaking softly, "I’m here. What’s wrong? Are you uncomfortable? Do you need me to get you something?"
Olivia Lewis heard her usually fierce Manager sounding so gentle for the first time, goosebumps prickling her skin, almost making her shudder.
She was used to Sunny yelling at her now and then; this gentleness felt almost unfamiliar!
She didn’t dare say it, afraid that if she did, her manager would quickly snap out of her gentle mode and go into a rampage. Olivia struggled to sit up, but as soon as she moved, she pulled at the wound on her right shoulder, causing her to grimace in pain, "Ah—"
Adam reacted even faster than Sunny, striding over to the bedside in one step, furrowing his brows as he supported her head with a pillow and raised the bed to 40° using the remote. Only then did his angry face scold her, "Nonsense. If you want to get up, don’t you know to tell me first?"
Saying this, the next moment he worriedly bent down to unbutton her hospital gown, checking that the bandages on her right shoulder hadn’t soaked with blood.
He confirmed that Olivia’s movement hadn’t caused her shoulder wound to bleed, then heaved a sigh of relief, though his expression wasn’t pleasant as he said, "Next time if you want to get up, tell me first, I’ll lift you."
