Zhao Shuxin, the J ungler ¹ of Team Pride, looked like he was going to be sick.

If you have any experience playing Fiddlesticks, you should know that in a team fight, if your ultimate skill fails to do much damage, Fiddlesticks will be a mewling lamb waiting to be slaughtered after that!

“That’s it, I’m going to kill you no matter what!” In a rage, Zhao Shuxin unloaded his skills upon Alistar to Silence and Terrify him.

Killing a Support was better than nothing!

His ‘Terrify’ lasted for 2.5 seconds. Together with his ultimate skill and his health-stealing ‘Drain’, he was sure he’d be able to take down a mere Support champion!

However, the accursed cow still seemed to have something up his sleeve. The instant Terrify was laid upon him, he activated his own ultimate skill, Unbreakable Will, canceling both the Terrify ¹ and Silence effects.

Bam!

Pulverize! It was Alistar’s turn to apply some CC on Fiddlesticks. Then, with half his health left, he moved to escape from Crowstorm’s area of effect. Ignoring Fiddlesticks altogether, he advanced forward to tank for his team.

Very soon, Fiddlesticks’s Crowstorm came to a close, and then Team Scarlet’s Kha’Zix pounced onto him, tearing him to shreds with a single skill combo!

Fiddlesticks had gone straight for Rabadon’s Cap. Without Zhonya’s Hourglass, the moment he was deprived of the power of his ultimate skill, he perished instantly under their focused fire!

When Fiddlesticks fell, Kha’Zix regained the use of his E-skill ‘Leap’, and with a great leap, it soared straight towards the inviting warmth of Sona’s bosom!

With a slash of its claws, it tore Sona’s dress to tatters. With one vicious thrust, it impaled her slender body upon its talons.

Sona had already lost a lot of health before this. At the end of this brutal assault, she was left broken and pitiful upon the ground.

With Sona down, Kha’Zix sailed through the air yet again. This time, his prey was the femme fatale named Katarina!

Katarina hadn’t taken much damage so far. After eating two skills from Kha’Zix, she still had about half of her health remaining. Malphite joined in with a full skill combo, bringing her right up to death’s door, and Katarina was forced to use her Flash to escape, fleeing as fast as her legs could carry her.

Varus had been the very first one to fall, and his corpse had been trampled into the dirt by everyone running back and forth throughout the battle.

Varus vanquished, Fiddlesticks broken, Sona destroyed, and Katarina departing the scene… that left Shen, who’d used his ulti to join the battle!

He’d used Katarina as the target for ‘Stand United’. Although he used his Taunt as soon as he arrived, by then most of his team were already down for the count.

Katarina didn’t look back, leaving Shen to die. His frustration evident even beneath his mask, the ninja was smacked this way and that by all the Team Scarlet champions!

Shen was a tank, but not even he could hold out against four champions ganging up on him. The only thing he could do was find a soft spot to die in.

Honorable to the end, he collapsed face-first on top of Sona.

It was a trade of four kills for the price of one!

Team Scarlet had only lost Morgana—everyone else was still alive and kicking!

As for Team Pride, only Katarina had managed to survive. As for that, a Katarina who struggled to kill off enemy champions was of little consequence, and she could do absolutely nothing to prevent the four champions of Team Scarlet from busting through two outer towers down in the Bottom lane.

The only outer tower Team Pride had left was in the Middle lane. With almost all of their outposts in ruins, the disparity between the teams was now nearly insurmountable.

However, anything could happen in a serious game, especially considering Team Pride’s champion composition, which created a very real potential to achieve a late-game turn-around.

In a moment of carelessness, several of their champions could be disabled by Sona’s paralyzing wave, surprised by Fiddlesticks’s unannounced appearance, bogged down by Varus’s ensnaring curse, or cut down by Katarina’s whirling blades… and then their whole team would fall in moments.

“Malphite, go farm. When your ulti’s ready, come group up for another team fight.” Huang Yu issued instructions to their Solo Top, Xiao Tongtong.

Malphite depended upon his ultimate skill even more than Fiddlesticks did. Without it, he might as well be one of the Krugs in the jungle—a moving pile of rocks which spent its days waiting for champions to pass by and take a swing at it for gold and XP.

Team Pride didn’t seem eager to get into another team fight. They busied themselves with farming minions and jungle creeps.

Team Scarlet was waiting on Malphite’s ulti to start another brawl. Team Pride was similarly waiting out the cooldown on Fiddlesticks’s ulti. Both of those skills were infamous for their exceptionally long cooldown times.

Speaking of long skill cooldown times… Shen quietly farmed where he could, careful not to venture too far.

Team Scarlet used their advantage in towers to dominate the jungle regions, repeatedly forcing the enemy team to do battle with them in order to contest for the Dragon and Baron.

Team Pride played with the utmost care, and didn’t give Team Scarlet too many openings.

Both teams circled around each other, through the jungle and around their towers. Morgana threw Dark Bindings constantly, hoping to score a lucky pick.

Morgana’s aim could be better, but Yu Luocheng was doing an excellent job providing vision across the map, and two-thirds of the entire map was now lit up for the blue side.

With so much of an advantage on her side, Morgana’s long-ranged skillshots were bound to catch something ! ¹

Sure enough, Katarina took a step in the wrong direction, and got snared by Morgana’s spell. Another fight was about to break out!

Once again, Team Scarlet’s leader Huang Yu led the charge with Morgana, Flashing deep into the enemy’s midst to unleash her ultimate skill, Soul Shackles!

In a panic, Katarina used her ‘Shunpo’ and even her Flash to get away. If not for Malphite being slightly out of position, she would have met her demise right then and there!

This was when Zhao Shuxin, Team Pride’s Jungler, called out, “We can fight them! I’m in a good position!”

Fiddlesticks was standing by beside their second-tier Mid tower. To be precise, that was the red-side tower (to the north-east), while the action was taking place in the narrow jungle paths just to the left of it.

What this meant was that if Fiddlesticks jumped into a fight here, Alistar would have little hope of finding a suitable angle of attack in order to eject him from the fray. Furthermore, he was keeping a finger over his Flash—even if Alistar did somehow remove him from the battle, he would just Flash right back in!

“Then we fight!” Huang Mi glanced at his remaining health. Two-thirds left.

This was advantageous terrain for them. If Sona performed a Flash-ulti here, victory would be within their grasp!

The members of Team Pride gritted their teeth. It was time to roll the dice!

Shen was the only tank on their team. Without hesitation, he charged fearlessly past Morgana, ignoring her Soul Shackles as he dove straight at the enemy team!

Sona, who had been backpedaling away from the fight, suddenly Flashed in and let fly with her Crescendo!

Surprised by her ferocity, everyone on Team Scarlet, besides Morgana, was caught in the area of effect!

“Sweet! Huang Mi, they’re all yours!” the Jungler Zhao Shuxin yelled.

Up until this point, Sona hadn’t really been standing out, but while under the effect of Soul Shackles, she’d managed to pull off a brilliant Flash-ulti ! ¹

Four enemies Stunned, and the only one who hadn’t been caught in the effect was Morgana, who’d already thrown herself into their arms, and had just now activated Zhonya’s Hourglass. ¹

Beside their tower, Fiddlesticks had both arms extended, chanting a fell incantation!
