Chapter 2949: The First Asura In The World to Beg For Mercy
Chapter 2949: The First Asura In The World to Beg For Mercy
Still, no man in the world would be foolish enough to utter the truth in this situation. Feeling guilt-ridden, Zu An hugged Princess Ni Huang tighter. His feelings toward her had subtly changed when he learned the significance of the Asura Tear. He felt like he had to take responsibility for her.
He caressed her cheek as he asked, “What are you doing here? Where’s your big brother?”
Ni Huang replied, “My big brother said that I had seemed depressed since parting ways with you, so he advised me to cultivate at our ancestral dungeons. I thought there might be a chance I could sever spacetime and reunite with you if I became strong enough, so I did it. I spent a long time cultivating in our ancestral dungeons, and before I knew it, I became the strongest being in our Asura race. I became even stronger than my big brother.”
Zu An was surprised. While the Asuras were a warlike race, their ladies rarely fought in battle. They just needed to be beautiful. Yet Ni Huang had become the strongest of her race. She must have faced many dangerous challenges and put in a lot of hard work.
Zu An was moved, knowing that she had done this for him. “It has been tough on you, Ni Huang.”
“It’s not tough at all. I enjoyed becoming stronger. Otherwise, I would never have been able to enter that secret dungeon, sever the curse power on me, and reunite with you here,” Ni Huang said with an excited gleam in her eyes.
“How did you become Zhang Bao? Is Zhang Jiao your older brother?” Zu An asked curiously.
“I took on the role of the Yellow Turban Army’s ‘Earth Duke General’ when I entered this world. It’s fortunate that the original Zhang Bao was a secretive person who wore a mask, so I wasn’t at risk of being discovered by others. War is rife in this world, and there is nothing we Asuras enjoy more than war.” Ni Huang’s eyes glowed when she talked about war.
“As for your earlier question, Zhang Jiao isn’t my older brother. My older brother is still in our original world. I thought I’d be alone here. I didn’t expect to reunite with you here.” Ni Huang couldn’t hold herself back anymore and dove in to kiss his face.
Zu An still had many questions, but those could be left for later. He had just drunk a bit and was feeling frisky.
Sensing Ni Huang’s passion, how could he let down her many years of yearning and waiting? The temperature in the tent rose as she sat in his arms, giving off an air of youthfulness. Years of fighting had tempered her body, leaving her with no excess flesh. Every bit of her muscles exuded a healthy glow.
Princess Ni Huang had been to many worlds, and all this time, she was confident that her spearmanship wouldn’t pale in comparison to anyone’s. She had never cowered before an enemy before, no matter how powerful they were.
But this was the moment she realized that she couldn’t have been more wrong. There was spearmanship in the vast Myriad Worlds that could strike fear in her.
...
A deep moan suddenly echoed from the tent. Alarmed, the guards stationed outside rushed to the entrance of the tent and asked, “Earth Duke General, did something happen?”
Ni Huang felt like she would die of embarrassment, especially if her subordinates barged in right now. She anxiously reached for her mask, but Zu An grabbed her hand and said, “Leave it to me.”
He imitated Zhang Bao’s voice and shouted, “I’m fine. I need to discuss things privately with General Liu, so make sure no one enters the tent without my permission. Otherwise, I’ll execute them personally!”
He had become so skilled at Myriad Transformations that imitating voices was second nature to him.
“Yes, Earth Duke General!” The guards hurriedly backed off.
Ni Huang looked at Zu An. “You sure are good at deception. I doubt that anyone can see through your impersonation.”
Zu An smiled. “Aren’t you worried that someone else is impersonating me?”
Ni Huang replied with a smile, “I can sense the Asura Tear in your forehead. No one can impersonate you.”
Zu An teased, “It sounds almost like a puppy marking its territory.”
Ni Huang’s eyebrows shot up, but she replied sweetly, “I’m only a puppy for you~”
Those words sent Zu An’s heart pumping as if someone had injected adrenaline into him.
...
Some time later, there was a commotion outside. Ni Huang nervously hugged her lover, signaling for him to stop.
“I wish to meet the Earth Duke General!” It was the one-eyed commander, Yan Zheng.
“The general is busy discussing matters with Lord Liu. He has strictly forbidden anyone from disturbing them,” the guard replied.
Yan Zheng frowned. “When did that Liu fellow enter the tent?”
“Around four hours ago.”
Yan Zheng was taken aback. “They have been talking for so long?”
“Commander Yan, please don’t put us in a difficult spot. The Earth Duke General has declared that he would execute anyone who barged into his tent.”
Yan Zheng harrumphed. “They should be almost done with their discussion. I’ll wait outside.”
The guard breathed a sigh of relief. It was all good as long as Yan Zheng didn’t barge in.
In the tent, Zu An saidd with a smile, “It sounds like he has something urgent to report. Aren’t you going to meet him?”
“Who cares? I’m not going to meet anyone else until I beat you once.” Ni Huang flipped her body over.
The Asuras were normally exceptionally talented, but how could an amateur who had never experienced carnal pleasures possibly be a match for a maxed out character?
Ni Huang obstinately held on at the start, but it eventually reached a point where she had no choice but to beg for mercy. Little did she know that her pleas only stoked the enemy’s ferocity.
...
“A new valkyrie has been detected. Do you want to collect her?”
Zu An wasn’t surprised to receive that notification, since Ni Huang bore a striking resemblance to Murong Qinghe and Mo Xi. He immediately tapped ‘Yes’. Moments later, there was a new ‘Deity of Lightning’s Fragment’ in his Valkyrie System.
She’s indeed one of the Deity of Lightning’s fragments.
“What did you do to me?” Sensing the anomaly with her soul, Ni Huang opened her eyes despite her exhaustion.
Zu An told her about the first-generation universal deities’ soul fragments, as well as his mission in this world.
Ni Huang was taken aback. She murmured, “I have always known that I was talented. I learn things faster than my peers, and I cultivate faster than my brother. But I didn’t think I had a universal deity’s soul fragment in me.”
“Don’t think too much about it. To me, you are you...” Zu An said. From prior experiences, he could tell that she was trying to digest the information and was in a sensitive mood.
Fortunately, Ni Huang was able to recover quickly. “Is this how you collect the soul fragments of the other universal deities as well? How many have you collected to date?”
...
Zu An was at a loss for words. Why do they all focus on that? He carefully explained the matter.
Ni Huang frowned, “You have only collected so few? Do you need my help? I know a few people who could be soul fragments of the first-generation universal deities.”
Zu An was taken aback. “Who?”
