The clothes for bronze-class servants were light yellow in color while the clothes for the silver-class servants were light blue. Hence, it was not only the hairpins that showed the difference in their status but also the colors of their clothes.

Each servant received two pairs of uniforms and Xiang Ling decided to prepare two more pairs within the next week for the sake of their convenience. She took out a pouch of money as big as the ones Aunt Yan and Uncle Sun received and handed it to An Mei.

Just as she finished promoting the three of them, Fu Xiao entered the hall. Turning her attention toward the girl, Xiang Ling spoke, "You are here at the perfect time. Come over here."

A very surprised Fu Xiao looked around at the others and the items they all were carrying in their hands as she made her way toward Xiang Ling. "My Lady." She bowed respectfully once she was standing in front of Xiang Ling.

Xiang Ling took out the last two pairs of clothes from the trunk and handed them to Fu Xiao. The color of these clothes was different from the others, instead of yellow or blue, these were dark purple. She then took out the wooden hairpin Fu Xiao was wearing in her hair and replaced it with a golden hairpin that made everyone else gasp in surprise.

"From this moment onwards, Fu Xiao is promoted to the Golden class. She has been the most loyal person to me. She was there for me when everyone discarded me as a burden. Despite everything, she never gave up on me. She deserves this promotion and my respect along with yours. From this day onwards, she will be your direct head and oversee your work." Xiang Ling announced and everyone clapped their hands as they congratulated a very stunned Fu Xiao.

"My Lady...?" The girl looked at Xiang Ling with almost tearful eyes which made the latter smile warmly. "Accept it. You deserve this." Her warm and encouraging words did their work as the girl gave a little nod of her head before she stepped back and joined the others.

"Now you all can return to your work." Xiang Ling announced as she noticed Li Xian and Wei Guang entering the hall. The servants followed her order and started heading out of the hall, greeting the Young Masters on their way out.

"LingLing, what is going on?" It was Zhe Yuan who asked the question as he entered the hall right after Li Xian and Wei Guang.

"I have something important to discuss with the five of you. Let’s wait for others to join us as well." Xiang Ling replied and the four of them settled down on their respective seats in the hall as they waited for Xin Cheng and Dao Ming’s arrival. The two took their time and finally arrived at the hall after five or so minutes.

"Why have you called us here?" Xin Cheng asked as he took his seat next to Li Xian. His eyes looked everywhere around the hall but at Xiang Ling.

Instead of replying with words, Xiang Ling stood up from her seat and handed a collection of papers to Wei Guang.

"What are these?" Dao Ming asked with confusion as he and Zhe Yuan stood up from their seats and walked toward Wei Guang to take a look at the papers.

Xiang Ling returned to her seat and settled down before she replied to Dao Ming’s question, "Divorce Agreements."

Her words brought an alarming silence in the hall as all men turned their shocked gazes toward her.

"What?" Xin Cheng was the first one who broke the silence and jumped up from his seat. He stormed toward Wei Guang and snatched the papers out of the latter’s hand. There were a total of five parchments, one for each of the five men.

"Our Divorce agreements?" Zhe Yuan asked a very obvious question as he had already seen the papers but the man was unable to help it. He was just too stunned by the turn of events.

"What joke are you playing now?" Xin Cheng demanded as he turned his blood red eyes toward her in an intense glare. But despite the anger in those eyes, Xiang Ling remained calm. She gave him a hard look and replied, "This is no joke. These are genuine Divorce Agreements that I have written for each of you and it states clearly in these papers that I’m the reason for our divorces. It’s my failure as a wife that ruined our marriages."

She stopped for a moment to allow her words to sink into the brains of the five men who were looking at her as if she had suddenly grown two heads. A part of her expected them to be happy after seeing the papers but as she looked at their expressions, not a single one looked the slightest bit happy.

Letting out a deep sigh, she continued, "I don’t remember exactly in what situations I married each of you but from what I have heard, none of you chose me as your wife. It was me who forced you all to marry me. Not only that, I even behaved rudely and misbehaved with you all. None of you are happy in our relationships. So, I think it’s the perfect time to end all this."

She looked at the men one by one but it was becoming impossible to read their expressions except for the clear shock and anger she was able to see.

"Have you discussed this with your parents?" Li Xian asked all of a sudden.

Xiang Ling smiled softly as she spoke, "I married you all against their will. I’m sure they will be happy to know about our divorces. Also, this is between the six of us. I have decided to let you all go."
