Chapter 64: Do You Want to Sleep With Me?
Chapter 64: Do You Want to Sleep With Me?
Hiding in the Shadows of the night, a figure followed Xiang Ling back to the Inn and watched as she entered the building along with the group of slaves.
A moment or two later, the person finally stepped out of the shadows and into the brightness that was coming from the lanterns placed outside the entrance of the Inn.
As the light fell on his face, his identity became evident. It was none other than Wen ZheYuan. He stepped out of the Inn to take a look outside when he noticed Xiang Ling and Fu Xiao heading toward the dark alley. He just followed them out of curiosity. What he didn’t expect was to witness such an interesting show.
"What is she up to this time?" He wondered out loud as he stared at the entrance of the Inn.

The ground floor of the Inn was a public area where the customers dined or mingled with each other.
In one of the corners, Xiang Ling was sitting around a table while enjoying the tea that the waiter just served her. Occasionally, her eyes shifted toward the group of people who were standing at a little distance from her table with their heads bowed.
There were six men and four women. Among the men, Sun Jie was forty years old and belonged to a small fishing village. His previous master sold him to the slave dealers after he accidentally broke a very precious and expensive vase.
Then there was a pair of twins - Yang Dong and Yang Peng, both were twenty-three years old. They were quite good-looking and carried a feminine touch in their facial features. According to their story, their stepmother sold them to slave dealers after their father’s death.
The rest almost had the same story. Their families sold them off to the slave dealers for money. Liu Xin was eighteen, Xu Tao was sixteen, and then there was Xiao Hao, who was fourteen.
Among the four women, Aunt Yan was forty-eight years old. She ended up in the hands of the slave dealers when she was wandering around, looking for a new job.
Two of the girls were of the same age, nineteen, Lin Jie, and Xu Ling. Lastly, there was a fifteen-year-old girl named Xiao Mei.
"My Lady, the Young Masters are here." Fu Xiao whispered in Xiang Ling’s ear when the girl noticed the group of Young Masters making their way down the stairs.
Xiang Ling quickly glanced in the direction of the stairs and sure enough, all five of her husbands were heading in her direction while attracting way too much attention from the other guests because of their looks. Even though the mortals couldn’t see their true looks, her husbands were still quite good-looking in their mortal forms.
Letting out a sigh, she turned her attention toward the group of people next to her and started speaking, "Since I bought you, I want to take you all to Dongzhi City and make you work for me. You all will get a place to live, clothes to wear, food to eat, and a salary for your work."
She took a little break and allowed her words to sink into their minds before she continued, "However if anyone among you wants to return to their families, I can return your slave contract to you and set you free."
She was not being extra kind here. Instead, she just wanted to keep only the loyal ones with her. Even if one of them had the wish of returning to their family, there was no point in forcing them to stay with her.
Listening to her words, Aunt Yan reacted first as she quickly kneeled and bowed her head against the floor. "Master, please don’t abandon us. You saved us from those monsters, we will be loyal to you for the rest of our lives."
The rest also followed Aunt Yan and kotowed, requesting Xiang Ling to take them all under her wing.
"Alright. If you all want to follow me, we will depart for Dongzhi City in the morning. From this moment onwards, you all belong to me." Xiang Ling announced.
She then took out her pouch of money and handed three silver taels to Uncle Sun and two silver taels to Aunt Yan. "Take this money and buy new clothes for everyone. Take a bath in the servant bathhouse of the Inn and gather here after an hour for dinner."
Aunt Yan and Uncle Sun bowed their heads and thanked Xiang Ling for her benevolence along with everyone else.
Xiang Ling didn’t respond and just took out another silver and handed it to Aunt Sun before instructing - "Buy medicines and make sure that everyone’s wounds are treated. I will personally diagnose all of your health during dinner."
Aunt Yan accepted the additional silver and thanked Xiang Ling again before she and the others headed out of the Inn to carry out the orders.
"Fu Xiao, go with them." Xiang Ling ordered the girl who had been silently standing next to her all this time.
"Yes, My Lady." Fu Xiao accepted the order immediately and hurried behind the group of servants who just left.
"Why send Fu Xiao after them? Are you worried that they will flee with your money, LingLing?" Wen ZheYuan asked as he took a seat next to her while the others also settled down around the big table that Xiang Ling had selected.
"I’m worried that they will be bullied by those shopkeepers." Xiang Ling answered but as she was lost in her thoughts, she didn’t notice the smiles of satisfaction that her response brought on the faces of her husbands.
Turning her attention toward An Mei, Xiang Ling ordered, "Go and book more rooms for them accordingly. Ask the manager to arrange another carriage and three more horses."
The girl immediately left to talk with the manager but Xiang Ling still looked worried.
"Is something bothering you?" Wei Guang asked when he noticed her troubled look.
Instead of answering his question directly, Xiang Ling turned her attention toward Xin Cheng and asked, "Do you want to sleep with me tonight?"
