Su LiangLin walked into the chamber and headed straight to the table sitting in the middle of the room. She poured herself a cup of warm water and gulped it down. After helping Zi Yun in kitchen, she felt extremely tired, and was looking forward to getting some much-needed sleep.
Once she had drank a second cup of water, she finally looked around the room and realized that there was no sign of Wu Tian. It was so late at night and Mo Li did tell her that the Crown Prince had returned to the chamber. Yet, he was nowhere to be seen.
Letting out a small sigh, she made her way toward the cupboard that held her clothes and started taking off her jewelry and outer robe. She was about to untie the knots of her inner robe when she heard the sound of water splashing and her hands froze in their way.
She immediately turned her head to look in the direction where the sound came, but the screen that was standing there made it hard for her to look past it. Slowly, she made her way toward the screen and peeked through the little gap.
As soon as her gaze landed on the sight hidden behind those screens, a loud gasp almost made its way out of her mouth if not for her covering her mouth with both her hands to stifle the sound. Her wide eyes stared at the man who was sitting in the bathtub while enjoying the hot bath.
Gulping to keep her sudden dry throat moist, she started taking steps back to put as much distance between herself and the man. She was planning to flee from the chamber, but her luck didn’t work.
"Mo Li, is that you? Hand me the towel."
The deep voice that belonged to Wu Tian, froze Su LiangLin in her steps and she turned her head to take a quick look at the man. He still had his back facing her. Realizing that she still had a chance to run, she tried to make her way toward the door once again.
"What are you doing? Hand me the towel."
This time, Wu Tian turned his face to the side a little bit. Though, it wasn’t enough for him to notice that she was Su LiangLin and not Mo Li, it was still more than enough to sent her into a panic mode.
Realizing that complying with his order could save her from getting caught, she hurriedly grabbed the towel and moved toward the man to hand him the towel from as far away as possible.
Wu Tian accepted the towel without looking back, and immediately, issued a new task. "Help me take care of my wet hair."
Su LiangLin cursed silently as she grabbed another towel and started patting Wu Tian’s wet hair dry. Out of anxiety and fear, her movements were rushed and frantic.
"What’s wrong with you suddenly, Mo Li?" Wu Tian demanded as he grabbed the hand that was almost pulling his hair out and finally turned to face his personal guard. What he found behind him was not the familiar face of Mo Li, but an insanely beautiful woman who was staring at him with wide eyes and slightly parted lips.
Wu Tian found himself frozen in shock and all he was able to do was to watch the woman as her eyes took him in before they suddenly dropped from his face toward south. He immediately followed the line of her sight and realized the issue - he was stark naked and his entire upper body was on full display.
In his shock, he pulled his hand back and tried to move to grab his robe to cover himself. Unfortunately, things went in a complete different direction. Since he pulled his hand with quite some force, he ended up pulling Su LiangLin forward which caused her to lose her balance and she landed straight into the tub.
A scream escaped Su LiangLin’s lips as she found her body falling into the tub. Her face was about to hit the water when two strong arms grabbed her and spun her around. The world around her came to a standstill a moment later, and she found herself sprawled over a stunned Wu Tian. Her entire body was pressed against his from top to bottom in that tub.
The two of them once again found themselves staring into each other’s eyes. Their breaths were coming in short gasps and they were aware of their bodies that were pressed against each other’s, especially a very hard part of Wu Tian’s lower body that was pressed against Su LiangLin’s inner thighs. Despite the robe that she was still wearing, she was able to feel it very clearly.
With her heart thumping crazily in her chest, she came to her senses and tried to move, to pull away from the man. However, in her frantic attempts of getting away from him, she ended up brushing her knee against his hardness that caused him to gasp out loudly.
"Stop moving!"
Su LiangLin froze in her place and didn’t even dare to breath loudly in fear of brushing against him again. She watched as Wu Tian started shifting from under her and the next moment, he had moved both of them into a sitting position. Still, the space between their bodies was not much.
She waited for him to move further away, or maybe climb out of the tub. However, nothing of that sort happened. Instead, she felt him brushing away few strands of her hair from her face. For the first time since the night of their marriage, she saw softness in his eyes as he looked at her.
She found herself wondering about his next move, only for him to pull away from her completely.
"You climb out first and get changed." He told her as he found a comfortable position at the other side of the tub.
Su LiangLin didn’t have to be told twice and she hurriedly climbed out of the tub and disappeared from the man’s sight.
