Chapter 5457: Growth! II
Chapter 5457: Growth! II
Seo-yeon read her own name in the prompts, the family name sitting after hers, and her tears came again!
THE Infiniverse settled her three children into herself, and to any perception that beheld them, she rendered the newborn Observable Existences round, three vast spheres of blue-gold and green-gold and infinite shine nestled within her reach. She assigned them space with a mother’s absurd generosity, each granted more than a third of her own vastness to grow into, her containment stretching itself larger around them rather than asking them to stay small. The math should not have worked. Her Egoic Intent had decided that it did!
Noah watched all of it with his hands loose at his sides, and then the prompts he had been waiting for arrived.
Regarding THE Tide That Owes Nothing. The Genesis Tesseracts are products of the Tide’s own returns, and the Tide does not trigger upon the gifting of its own products. The seeds are exempt. This was anticipated.
However. The act performed here was never merely the transfer of three objects. You gave the opportunity of emergence. You gave your guidance, articulating for the first time the seating of Prime Causes so that three beings could walk a road only you have walked. You gave your trust, placing the seeds of First Causes into hands that have never held such weight. And you spent measurable shares of your own authority steadying three emergences through their most fragile moments. All of this falls within the Tide’s jurisdiction, and all of it aligns utterly with your identity. THE Tide That Owes Nothing has been triggered at D-Rank, with Echoing Returns engaged.
The action registers among the most Quintessentially Osmontian deeds in your record. You did not build walls after your homes were taken. You taught your family to grow homes of their own. The return reflects this.
Boon delivered: +40,000 Osmontian Biomass.
Echoing Returns active. This giving will continue generating diminishing returns as the three Observable Existences grow. Every realm that blooms in THE Aurcean Reaches, every garden that spreads through THE Verdant Origin, every hearth-light that kindles in THE Mirrored Hearth will echo back to you, again and again, for as long as they live. You have planted three payments that never finish paying.
HUUM!
Forty thousand, with echoes to follow. Noah put the number away with the cold part of his mind, the part already laying out the next stretch of the three hours, because forty thousand Biomass changed what came next considerably.
But he did not look at the prompts for long.
He looked at his family instead. At Amelia, standing at the edge of her own green-gold vastness with her hands pressed to her mouth, the Origin given room to originate. At Henry, walking into the light of THE Aurcean Reaches with his shoulders back, a young man standing inside the proof that his father saw him. At Seo-yeon, who had finally let go of Noah’s hand, only so she could spread both arms inside THE Mirrored Hearth and turn in a slow circle through the infinite shine.
Three Observable Existences, grown by his family’s own hands, rooted behind everything he was.
THE Sealed One had promised that every home Noah held would die. And Noah stood beneath the blue tree in the soft falling mana, watching his mother and his son and his daughter stand inside homes of their own making.
He would make sure that motherfucker wouldn’t be able to burn anything more!
...!
The three emergences were still settling into THE Infiniverse when Noah turned to his own work.
Blue-gold, green-gold, and infinite shine turned slowly in the vastness above the grove, three newborn Observable Existences finding their shapes inside a mother who had stretched herself larger to hold them. Amelia walked the edges of her gardens. Henry stood in his radiant Reaches. Seo-yeon spun in slow circles through her remembered home. Noah watched all of it for a moment longer, and then he called the last three Genesis Tesseracts out of his existence.
They rose around him in a small constellation, blue-white and folded, three seeds holding three First Causes’ worth of beginning.
He did not gift these. These were for the hunger.
"THE Hunger That Refines," Noah said, and brought the first one to his chest.
He pushed it in, and his existence began to devour.
The first Tesseract went down the way the original had, a flood of foundational potential breaking apart and integrating at perfect efficiency, cerulean lava welling up through his skin as the forge inside him lit. The grove felt it. The mana rain bent inward toward him, and the grass flattened in a slow ring, and above his head THE Estuary Eye began to spin faster.
He took the second before the first had finished settling.
The integration climbed past anything the single consumption had reached. The lava thickened across him until he stood wrapped in slow-moving cerulean, heat rolling off him in waves that made the air shimmer for miles, and the grove began to warp, the light of the clearing pulled toward its center. The lemniscate pupil above him turned at speeds it had never reached, drinking the overflow of a transformation too large for one body to contain quietly.
He took the third.
WAA!
Three First Causes’ worth of potential moved through THE Hunger That Refines in a single sitting, and nothing was wasted, and nothing spilled, and Noah burned!
Across the vastness, in three newborn Observable Existences, his family went quiet.
Amelia stopped at the edge of her gardens and turned toward the grove. Henry stood still in his blue-gold light, watching the distant cerulean sun his father had become. Even Seo-yeon stopped her spinning, her small face turned toward the burning point at the heart of everything, and none of them spoke, because some things silenced even the people who loved you!
They had known he was grand. Watching him eat three terrifying Seeds in a sitting, calm as a man finishing a meal, was a different kind of knowing!
The prompts came as the third integration closed.
Integration complete. Three Genesis Tesseracts consumed through THE Fourth Foundation at perfect efficiency. The results are as follows.
Your Osmontian Source Infinity has risen tremendously. Your Egoic Intent of THE Quintessential Osmontian has risen tremendously. Both now press against the absolute ceiling of F-Rank, Beith, saturated past any remaining capacity of the grade to hold them.
Understand what this saturation means, Master. No epiphany is required. No breakthrough is required. No bottleneck exists. You have done the work of filling the grade completely, and what remains between you and E-Rank is not a wall. It is a formality.
Elevation cost for Osmontian Source Infinity, F-Rank to E-Rank: 1 Osmontian Biomass.
Elevation cost for THE Egoic Intent of THE Quintessential Osmontian, F-Rank to E-Rank: 1 Osmontian Biomass.
...!
One.
Noah stood in the cooling lava of his own transformation and read the number twice, and the absurdity of it landed alongside the weight. Forty thousand Biomass sat in his reserves from a single act of giving, and the two grandest components of his entire existence, the fused authority and the True Lifeform Intent that everything else stood on, were asking him for one point each. Not because the elevations were small. Because he had done the work first. He had saturated the grade so completely that the ladder had nothing left to charge him for! Fill the vessel yourself, and the door opens for pocket change.
"Elevate both," he said.
Two points left him. He barely felt them go.
Elevation confirmed. Osmontian Source Infinity has risen from F-Rank, Beith, to E-Rank, Duir. The Birch hardens into the Oak.
What this means for a fused authority has settled. At Beith, your Osmontian Source Infinity was rooted and raw, a fusion that existed and asserted itself and nothing more. At Duir, it has been tested and held, and the holding has become structure. In the framework you were taught: your Volume deepens, as the authority now retains more of what feeds it with less loss. Your Output sharpens considerably, as the channels of a hardened fusion carry expression with less friction, more of you arriving per moment. The fused authority no longer merely is. It endures, and everything built on enduring ground stands harder.
Elevation confirmed. THE Egoic Intent of THE Quintessential Osmontian has risen from F-Rank, Beith, to E-Rank, Duir.
What this means for a True Lifeform Intent: your identity has grown denser. At Beith, your Intent declared who you are and reality complied. At Duir, the declaration has hardened into something reality finds harder to argue with at all. The claim carries more binding weight per assertion. Your Trueness, already seamless, now presses with greater force behind that seamlessness, the multiplier multiplying more. Every utterance of I AM now lands heavier, binds deeper, and asserts you into existence with more authority per word. Beings who test your identity will find oak where they expected sapling.
HUUM!
Noah felt both elevations settle through him at once, and the feeling was quiet and enormous. His authority sat harder in his bones. His identity sat harder in reality. When he breathed, existence made slightly more room for the breath than it had a minute ago.
And then his Tongue buzzed.
The first letter, burning patiently in the air above the grove where he had written it, flared bright, and the buzz ran down through the backbone of the language into the foundation of him.
THE Osmontian Tongue has been elevated by the consumed potential. Three First Causes’ worth of foundational beginning has fed directly into the backbone of your language, and the backbone has grown to bear far more than a single letter.
Sufficient breadth and immensity now exist to forge multiple additional Letters. The transcription may continue whenever you choose. The language is ready to grow, Master. The only remaining question is which truths about yourself you are prepared to write down next.
Noah looked up at I AM shining above the grove, and past it at the three Observable Existences his family stood inside, and he flexed his hands once, slowly, feeling the hardened weight of everything he had just become.
Three hours, THE Creature had asked for!
He did not know where he would be at the end of these three hours!
