Chapter 436 - Rapid Breakthrough
Chapter 436 - Rapid Breakthrough
As his clone moved to increase the connected worlds, Noah’s main body was currently in an expansive training room of the Celestial Watch Tower that stood between the border that left behind Fire Behemoths and had the Chaos Behemoths that were located further out.
The aura of fate was abundant in the room they were in as Grandmaster Vredral stood in front of them, his hands releasing warm essence of fate as he calmed the unstable aura around Noah and Athena.
That’s right! The power leveling that the Grandmaster was putting Noah and Athena through was finally coming to fruition, as these two beings that continued to be given materials and cores from Chaos Behemoths were finally forcefully breaking through to the Domain Expansion Realm!
The resources and treasures that would have gone to multiple Elite Exploration Teams and Celestial Grandmasters were given to the two beings with Noble Fates, their strengths being raised at a rate rarely seen as they broke through ranks that would normally take even geniuses years to break through.
Grandmaster Vredral would not have proceeded to continue pushing their realms up forcefully if their bodies showed any instabilities from not being able to handle the rapid rise, but Noah showed no issues while Athena only showed slight instabilities! After putting through numerous battles against Chaos Behemoths, their rapid rise only became solidified as they were now breaking through into the next rank with ease.
In their hands, the last Domain Expansion Realm Cores faded away into dust as both of their bodies rumbled with power, the unique strength of a Domain that was only present in this realm beginning to wrap around their cores as touched upon a level that would have taken them a significant amount of time to achieve with normal means.
"Good, keep it steady and manifest the domain around your origins, this will allow you to stably step into the Domain Expansion Realm!"
The Grandmaster said gravely as his power continued to descend onto their bodies and aid them, another few minutes passing before a change began to occur on Athena first, a golden glow surrounding her as she turned into a being clad in golden light!
An ecstatic expression appeared on the Grandmaster, the smile becoming even wider when the exact same situation happened to his other student, the two successfully establishing domains in their origin as the powerful aura at the Domain Expansion Realm began to leak out from them.
"Haha!"
A prideful look was on Grandmaster Vredral as he stared at his terrific students, Noah returning an excited smile as he laughed in his mind, these Celestials not knowing exactly who they just helped advance the realm of!
He and Athena had been given so many Domain Cores that he could have reached the reached a few days back because of the smoothness that the Planetary System allowed him to absorb cores, but he waiting until the Senior Sister that had always been ahead of him to break through before he did it himself.
At this moment, he had to give heartfelt thanks to the Celestials that had granted him such a large amount of treasures and brought up his rank rapidly. For the first time in a while, his rank had advanced first before he upgraded his skills.
Much of his skill trees currently remained at the soul rank, which will need the clone to spend some time out of its planned schedule in the Time Space raising the proficiencies of the skills before they could advance forward. This would be for later though, his attention currently turning towards the joyful Grandmaster that he stood on the same Realm as. The only thing missing being a few hundred thousand Fate Lines that he saw himself reaching not too long from now.
"Hmm, terrific geniuses indeed. You’ll work to stabilize your new realm the next few days before we can set off again. I wanted your power to be as high as possible before you began joining any skirmishes of the coming war, but..."
His gaze of joy turned difficult as he continued.
"...I just received word that Grandmaster Luo of our 7th Celestial Star has been assassinated, and the Dark Expanse is to blame. This...is a Declaration of War!"
Noah’s eyes opened wide as he heard this, his clone that was already locating another world to form a collection to also pausing in surprise as it heard the shocking results of its actions. Noah had known that at most, the Celestials would connect the disappearance of the Magus World to the technology of the Lost World of Atlantis they destroyed long ago, but they would never be able to find out exactly who was involved, as he was expertly guarded by both Fate and Chaos techniques!
Yet somehow, the Grandmasters had attributed the death of their own to the Dark Expanse in an effort to use it as one of the excuses to start the war.
A war between such huge forces did not begin and end in a day, where even the campaign of war that the Celestials carried in the War of the Righteous more than a thousand years ago, the war had lasted tens of years as the Celestials gained more territory and power.
This war that was about to begin would not end in a few days or a few months, the beings involved being too many and too powerful, where even Noah knew after he gained his burst of knew knowledge that it could take years! But, this was all without him in the picture. If he actually had a hand to play in this war as he increased his power....
He kept his thoughts to himself as he looked towards Athena, the memories of Grandmaster Luo letting him know that there was a connection between them! Athena looked towards the Grandmaster with an angry expression before being the one to speak out.
"Grandmaster, I know our rise in strength has been going against the natural order, where the rate simply does not conform to the norm! But since our strength will allow us to bring forth even more order, I will gladly continue raising my power, and I know Junior Brother Crixus will do the same!"
She had a valiant look on her face as she continued speaking.
"In this large scale war, beings at the Domain Rank will be of great use, but those of higher levels will be the true decoders of the war! What can we do, Grandmaster, in order to attain such strength before the conflicts begin?"
Unexpectedly, Noah did not see the reaction he expected from Athena as she straightforwardly asked Grandmaster Vredral how to further increase their power, the old man looking towards them with shining eyes and replying.
"I was going to mention this to you after you had stabilized your realms and were ready to move forward, but..."
"...as there are numerous powerful Celestials that are special existences or those with Noble Fates, resources have been equally decided so far and are getting scarcer. This is even more so for resources that are useful to beings at the Domain Expansion Realm!"
The Grandmaster spoke seriously as Noah considered his words about resources that could help someone at the Domain Rank. One must know, the Grandmaster was at the peak of this same rank, and even he had not broken through. Whatever resources that would be useful to him and Athena, they would also be useful to the Grandmaster! But this aged man did not even mention this as he seemed to focus his entire attention on the two of them.
"The resources to help a being in the Domain Expansion Realm are scarce, but it does not mean they do not exist. But because of their rarity and the fact that there are so many qualified beings in this realm that desperately need such treasures to increase their power...something has to be done to determine which Special Existences or being with Noble Fate is holding more potential and more deserving of such treasures!"
The words of the Grandmaster were explosive, Noah and Athena listening closely as they waited to hear exactly what the Celestials had in store. How would they be determining who is more deserving of treasures that were useful to even the most powerful of Grandmasters?!
The answer was in the form of battle!
