Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 3664 The Complexity of the Living IV

Chapter 3664  The Complexity of the Living IV

He was simply getting started!

And so, he focused inward—while the last and final System of Existence was being forged in the Ninth Mundi of Power, his attention remained locked on the current battle that spanned across Frequencies.

The battle against the Dead Thing, Bob!

Inside the Frequency of Mana.

A blue slime floated in an endless, azure sea of pure energy, humming to itself as its bright, circular eyes scanned the surroundings. It noticed clusters of other slimes drifting nearby.

Straightening up, it aimed to approach a group of elegant female slimes to show off the purity of its mana when, all of a sudden…

BOOM…CRACK!

The once-stable waves of mana surrounding it exploded and shattered in a horrifying cascade, as if existence itself were being erased.

Everything nearby faced decimation and collapse. The blue slime found itself fragmenting into countless shards, its weavings of existence on the verge of dispersing entirely.

Just as it was about to perish, it saw them- the ones responsible.

A tentacled entity with a bald, round head glowed with purple and black light. Opposite him stood a humanoid being shimmering with stellar black brilliance. Behind him, obsidian halos spun, and wings of starlit shadow unfurled in full.

The halos above his head spun violently and gushed forth a terrifying weaving of existence. The breakdown and collapse that had stretched across light-years in the surrounding regions…

Began to reverse.

The blue slime felt its shattered weavings reform, slowly returning to what they once were. The cracks that splintered reality began to mend.

And in just a brief moment—

SAA!

Everything was back to normal.

"…!"

The blue slime and countless other beings in the region glanced around in shock, their trembling eyes darting nervously. And then, the bold little slime screamed first.

"What the fuck was that?!"

They had all felt the collapse of their very existence—only to have it restored. But the ones responsible?

Gone.

They had already disappeared into the Weave, shattering one plane of reality to reappear in another Frequency entirely.

BOOM!

Every impact was existence-shattering. The terrifying True Source of Khaos only seemed to grow stronger and more unhinged with every passing second.

It was as if Bob was regaining the fullness of his power with each beat, each breath—moving closer and closer to becoming a more complete Harmonized Sourcebound Icon.

Existence fractured faster with each clash. Noah had to keep pace, releasing his own True Source of Existence, letting it proliferate through the Frequencies, mending what was broken and restoring what once was.

The battle was a stalemate. Despite the raw power of Khaos, Noah's existence was actively adapting. With every passing moment, his complexity increased.

Bob saw this. He shook his head, and then after what felt like ages, spoke once again.

"None of this is needed. None of this has to happen. Even now, I've kept the weavings of the two Wheels behind me mostly dormant. I don't want to taint anything. All I need… is entry into a True Frequency. You could end all of this peacefully, my friend."

…!

BOOM!

Their weavings clashed again. Existence cracked, twisted, distorted—and then reformed—as they plunged into the dark embrace of the Weave once more.

Noah didn't relent. His True Source of Existence permeated the space, spreading outward to overwhelm and collapse every remnant of Khaos it encountered.

But as he did this, he replied to Bob with vibrant waves of tyranny surging around him.

"Have you heard the fable of the Scorpion and the Frog?"

…?!

Bob blinked, clearly caught off guard. He looked at Noah, trying to determine if he'd heard him correctly, then shook his head.

He had never heard such a ridiculous tale.

Even as their True Sources continued to collide—distorting reality with each strike—Noah pressed on, his eyes radiating with cosmic brilliance that made him look like an ancient titan of stellar obsidian brilliance!

"A Scorpion and a Frog met on the banks of a raging river. It was too treacherous for the Scorpion to cross, so he politely asked the Frog to carry him across. Do you know what the Frog did?"

…!

Noah asked it casually. And when Bob heard the direction the story was going, a flash of anger crossed his face. Khaos around him began to bubble with seething intensity.

Still, Noah continued.

"The Frog was suspicious as fuck. He said, 'How do I know you won't sting me?' And the Scorpion replied—completely rationally—'Because if I sting you, we'll both drown.' It made sense. The Frog hesitated but eventually agreed, letting the Scorpion ride on his back as he began to cross the river."

Noah's voice dropped.

"But halfway across… the Scorpion struck. It stung the Frog, poisoning him. As they began to sink, the dying Frog asked, 'Why the fuck would you do that? Now we're both going to die!' And the Scorpion replied…"

He paused in the eye of the storm, his voice calm amidst the crashing chaos.

"'It's in my nature.'"

Bob's expression soured. He didn't answer, only glanced behind him—toward the two massive Wheels, black and white, as though grappling with a difficult decision.

Noah didn't stop.

"So what lesson do you take from that? Because to me—you're the Scorpion. Even if it kills you. Even if it destroys everything—you'll still sting. That is just your nature."

He exhaled sharply.

"So no. I won't carry you across the river. I won't take you to a True Frequency of Existence."

His tone darkened.

"I'll learn more about you instead. Because ever since arriving in the Infinite Ravines… things about your nature are starting to become clearer."

…!

BOOM!

Another clash. Their weavings collided, and the scenery shifted.

They now stood within the Frequency of Night.

Endless starlight stretched across a cosmic void.

In that moment, Bob's weaving hesitated.

"…What did you say?"

He hadn't cared much about the Scorpion and the Frog.

But now—at the mention of something else—his eyes narrowed with cold calculation. His voice dropped, cautious.

"The Infinite Ravines? You arrived in the Infinite Ravines?!"

…!
