Chapter 2545 - 35: Instant Kill (Part 2)
Chapter 2545: Chapter 35: Instant Kill (Part 2)
Mo Hua was driven to desperation, forced to reveal himself and continue his frantic escape.
At the instant Mo Hua revealed his form, the remaining three experienced Elders from Yin Corpse Valley glared menacingly, fully unleashing their Golden Core Power.
Crystallized scarlet Evil Power spread across their bodies; three Golden Core Corpse Cultivators—one fully transformed into a corpse, one summoned a Copper Corpse, and one wielding a Corpse Pattern Blood Sword—advanced to kill Mo Hua.
Elder Xu also followed closely behind, charging into the mountain gorge.
Four Golden Core Demon Cultivators besieged with full force, the looming threat of death almost certain for a Foundation Establishment cultivator.
Yet, just as they entered the gorge, a flash of five-colored light appeared.
All around the mountain walls, numerous mottled Formations began to light up sequentially.
The expressions of the four Yin Corpse Valley Elders changed instantly.
Formation! And so many of them...
The traces are very fresh, were they all drawn temporarily?
Is this truly a Formation Master’s method?
In their shock, the Formations had already detonated.
However, pressed by time, Mo Hua hastily painted only Second Grade Primary Rank Formations, their power lacking.
The threat to Golden Core cultivators was minimal.
Nonetheless, a long stretch of the gorge had collapsed, with the rocks from the sides now rushing to bury the Yin Corpse Valley Elders.
Faced with the situation, the four Yin Corpse Valley Elders had no choice but to temporarily separate to evade the falling rocks.
Amidst the rumbling, dust soared, the mountainside collapsed, and the surrounding area turned into a chaotic mess of rubble.
Moments later, in a corner piled with mountain stones, the stone was blasted away by Evil Power, dispersing the dust.
Elder Xu emerged from the debris, his face icy cold.
"Blasting the gorge to hinder us..."
"Such petty tricks."
Having been repeatedly bested by a mere Foundation Establishment boy, Elder Xu, an Elder of Yin Corpse Valley, had utterly lost his patience, his gaze filled with ferocity.
But as he looked around, he saw only mountain stones. A sweep of his Divine Sense detected no trace of Mo Hua.
Just as he hesitated, a whispering corpse voice reached his ears:
"Go west..."
Elder Xu stepped forward, a sudden alertness arose in his heart, sensing something amiss.
This Earth Store Corpse, why was it suddenly obedient, even guiding without drinking blood?
Could it be... it drank enough blood and was finally fully tamed by him?
For a brief moment, a surge of joy rose in Elder Xu’s heart, but reason soon suppressed the jubilation.
Elder Xu gradually calmed down, then looked towards the west.
To the west lay a narrow mountain path built of rubble, leading to a dark, unknown valley entrance.
Elder Xu inexplicably felt a sense of unease, thinking he shouldn’t proceed, yet after careful consideration, he couldn’t help but smirk coldly:
"Really, the older I get, the more cautious I become..."
"I, an Elder of the Great Sect Yin Corpse Valley, who cultivates the mystical Corpse Path, am fearing a Foundation Establishment cultivator?"
"What do I fear? That he could kill me?"
Elder Xu snorted defiantly, his gaze fierce, as he walked towards the path pointed by the Earth Store Corpse.
He hadn’t walked far when he sensed the presence of a living person. Moving forward dozens of feet, nearing the valley entrance, he saw a youth standing atop a giant stone ahead.
The youth had his eyes closed, his fingers pointed at his brow.
Elder Xu found it peculiar and even somewhat amusing.
But for some reason, his body hairs stood on end, almost instinctively. His meridians and bones began to tremble, and inexplicably, a cold fear rose in his heart.
Realizing something was wrong, Elder Xu’s pupils contracted slightly. The next instant, he saw Mo Hua open his eyes.
They were extraordinarily beautiful eyes.
Clear and bright like a spring, deep and reserved like an amber, within them, golden, black, and white colors interwove, emanating an ancient and mystical charm.
Yet they were also terrifying eyes.
Brimming with majestic authority over all life, the aloofness that cuts through everything, and a killing intent akin to an abyss.
Such exquisite features, such terrifying eyes.
Amidst the majesty of God and Demon, a concentrated, boundless sharpness seemed capable of annihilating all existence.
And this was also the final scene Elder Xu witnessed in his life.
Mo Hua made a slicing gesture with his finger, an invisible, resplendent sword light slicing through the air.
The time was incredibly short, almost just a moment.
Elder Xu had just appeared, glancing at Mo Hua, only to be struck by the long-powered God-slaying Sword, piercing his eyes, shattering his Sea of Consciousness, slaying his Divine Thought, extinguishing his Divine Soul.
On Elder Xu’s face remained an unfathomable horror, his gaze vacant, turning to oblivion, he kneeled on the ground, his Divine Soul vanquished.
With one sword, life and death were instantly decided.
Almost simultaneously, as Mo Hua executed the Divine Thought into sword out-of-body, he transformed into a water-like radiance, swiftly approached Elder Xu, with a speed akin to the wind, snatched away his Storage Bag, and then vanished into mist.
All that remained was Elder Xu’s corpse.
Soon, footsteps came from afar, accompanied by the sound of a Copper Corpse smashing through the rubble.
The other three Golden Core Elders from Yin Corpse Valley regrouped, each maneuvering a zombie as they approached, muttering as they walked:
"Elder Xu, that damn brat, escaped..."
The words weren’t finished when all three halted suddenly.
They saw Elder Xu kneeling on the ground, puzzled.
Upon nearing, seeing Elder Xu’s pale face, sensing his energy, their expressions instantly transformed.
"Dead... dead?!"
Dead?!
How could... be dead?!
The three Elders from Yin Corpse Valley were instantly stunned, their pupils trembling with shock.
