I Save The World In A Doomsday Text Game

Chapter 593: Transcendence (Grand Finale)

The current situation was like two players facing each other in a game of chess, and there was already a certain gap in strength between the two.

Yet one side not only possessed stronger chess skill, but also held privilege in hand. Once defeated, that side could declare the loss void and restart the game until final victory was obtained.

As for the weaker side, as long as he lost once, he would be judged thoroughly defeated and fall into an irreversible abyss.

In this extremely unequal game, the role Lin Xun played was precisely that chess player in an absolute disadvantage.

From the moment he stepped into the preview woven by Fate Dominion, whether it was Omniscient Dominion that he relied on or his soul Authority, Chaos Dominion, both were bound and suppressed. The hazy future images that he had originally been able to vaguely glimpse had already dissipated into nothing.

This undoubtedly proved that the administrator’s control over Fate Dominion had already become extremely terrifying. Its power was so strong that it could make all of Lin Xun’s speculation and foresight toward the future turn into foam, leaving not the slightest hope of reversal.

“If even I do not believe I can win, then that would be true defeat before battle!” Lin Xun silently recited in his heart. “This final decisive battle, I can definitely win!”

“I will definitely win!”

The administrator stared into Lin Xun’s eyes and could not help sighing. “If firm belief alone could change everything, then the world would not be filled with so many regrets and injustices.”

“If one has only belief, but does not possess the strength to match it, how can one even speak of so-called victory?”

Seeing that Lin Xun was unwilling to compromise, the administrator shook his head and said, “Since you refuse to yield, then let me personally shatter your belief and let you taste what true despair feels like…”

The administrator stood in the boundless sea of stars. The Book of Disorder held in his hand was like a gray, hazy star, instantly releasing endless gray waves capable of overturning the void!

The gray tide condensed into a boundless ocean. This was a terrifying product made from the materialization of Disorder energy.

In an instant, the Sea of Disorder swept across the entire starry sky, swallowing Lin Xun at the bottom of that endless deep sea, as if it wanted to permanently suppress him within the cage of Disorder and make him thoroughly become a slave of Disorder.

Although the administrator only had the Book of Disorder in hand at this moment, Fate Dominion had firmly connected The Book of Salvation and the Book of Disorder. Even across the distant starry sky, the administrator could still simultaneously drive the vast great power of both books.

Lin Xun was at the bottom of the Sea of Disorder, releasing the strongest power in the depths of his soul, Chaos Dominion!

Previously, he had slain many powerful old main gods and fused Their Divinity power into himself, making his soul power incomparably strong and allowing him to control endless and vast divine power.

And on the web of consciousness, the divine power continuously supplied by Omniscient True Knowledge far surpassed even the gods.

Facing this Sea of Disorder that could almost devour everything, Lin Xun poured his own power and Omniscient True Knowledge’s divine power into Chaos Dominion without the slightest reservation, causing it to be continuously sublime…

The materialization of Chaos divine power was like a mass of mist, containing the chaotic state at the beginning of the universe.

That was a darkness impossible to describe with words. It was not simple darkness, but the chaotic state before all things were born, an existence that could not be defined, could not be observed, and could not be named.

It was the superposition of all matter and energy, the chaotic womb of origin for all things, the primordial power that could define all things in the universe.

Under the full release of Chaos Dominion, Lin Xun did his utmost to clean up and eliminate the corrosion caused to him by the Sea of Disorder.

Chaos divine power continuously cleaned up Disorder, fusing the Disorder that corroded him into chaos and redefining Disorder as nothing!

However, even though Lin Xun currently controlled almost endless divine power, the mist formed by Chaos divine power still could not resist the fierce corrosion of the Sea of Disorder.

Before that bottomless Sea of Disorder, he appeared extremely battered.

That Sea of Disorder, never ceasing like a greedy giant beast, not only continuously corroded the void universe around him, but also launched a fierce corrosion against his soul.

Although Chaos Dominion’s cleaning speed was incomparably powerful, in the end, it still could not keep up with the Sea of Disorder’s corrosion speed.

The Sea of Disorder was like a despairing cage, trapping Lin Xun within it. Every surge of the gray tide’s undercurrents contained terrifying power capable of overturning rules and corroding all existence.

Every impact caused the pollution suffered by Lin Xun’s soul to become even deeper.

At the bottom of the deep Sea of Disorder, his figure gradually blurred, as if he might be completely swallowed by that irresistible torrent at any moment.

Facing the corrosion of the Sea of Disorder, Lin Xun had great difficulty just keeping his soul from being completely polluted, let alone counterattacking and defeating the enemy.

In such a despairing situation, being thoroughly devoured by Disorder was only a matter of time.

The administrator stared at Lin Xun, who was struggling bitterly and resisting desperately in the deep Sea of Disorder. What appeared in his eyes was not pity, but the ultimate grasp over fate.

His voice carried a chilling majesty and coldness, echoing through the boundless starry sky.

“You attempt to challenge fate, attempt to escape the trajectory that was predetermined, but how can the chains of fate be so easily broken free from?”

“In this Sea of Disorder, every struggle you make and every resistance you perform is nothing more than pushing the gears of fate, accelerating their rotation in the predetermined direction.”

The administrator’s arm lifted slightly, and the Book of Disorder in his hand flickered with dim gray light.

From the moment Lin Xun entered The Book of Salvation, his fate had already been destined!

At the vast and deep bottom of the Sea of Disorder, one mad undercurrent after another continuously broke through the protection built by Chaos divine power, constantly corroding Lin Xun’s soul.

But even facing a deadlock with not the slightest hope of victory, Lin Xun still straightened his spine, raised his head, and gazed at the administrator who looked down upon him.

There was not a trace of despair in Lin Xun’s gaze. Instead, he said firmly, “No, you are wrong… I have already found the method to break free from fate’s shackles, and I have likewise seen through your fatal weakness.”

“This battle… you are certain to lose!”

The administrator smiled helplessly and waved his hand, making the undercurrents of the Sea of Disorder even more violent.

Under the insurmountable gap in strength, he had no possibility of failure or defeat. Taking ten thousand steps back, even if there was that extremely slim probability of failure, everything was still within Fate Dominion’s preview.

Even if he failed, he could use Fate Dominion to return everything to the starting point, until he previewed an ending that satisfied him.

The Blood Sun world, a boundless stretch of withered earth.

A beautiful woman draped in white gauze and wearing a moon crown quietly lay upon this cracked, scorched land.

There was not the slightest trace of life aura in Her body. The Shell was empty, and even Her soul and consciousness had long since ceased to exist.

Suddenly, the woman opened Her eyes without warning and rose to Her feet, returning from death.

The Moon Goddess narrowed Her beautiful eyes and looked around. Countless dense characters flashed through Her eyes.

She opened Her tightly clenched palm, revealing a miraculous creation that did not belong to this world, a phone.

The Moon Goddess skillfully entered the password and unlocked the phone, clearly seeing a game called The Book of Salvation.

She tapped open the game, and lines of ink-colored text appeared on the screen sentence by sentence.

[…]

[Facing such a desperate situation, you raise your head and look up at the administrator, saying in firm words, No, you are wrong… I have already found the method to break free from fate’s shackles, and I have likewise seen through your fatal weakness.]

[This battle… you are certain to lose!]

[…]

The Moon Goddess revealed a mysterious smile with deep meaning.

Then She raised Her hand to tear open space, leaving this withered land and arriving at a dim battlefield ruin.

The night sky was pitch-black, and only scattered stars spread light, illuminating the earth.

Looking out, cold wind howled over the frozen earth, and fallen believer corpses were everywhere.

Not far away was a small mountain piled from the corpses of fallen believer monsters. At its highest point stood a vivid banner, with a white and sacred crescent moon printed on the flag surface.

The Moon Goddess looked north and saw the solid barrier built before Evernight Valley.

She closed Her eyes and stood in place, quietly sensing, but could not detect the location of that strange thing.

However, the Moon Goddess was not discouraged. She knew that strange thing would definitely be here. It simply could not be discovered with the naked eye, nor could it be sensed with divine power.

The beautiful woman stretched out both hands and continuously felt around through empty air, while Her gaze remained fixed on the text on the screen.

[…]

[The undercurrents at the bottom of the Sea of Disorder are abnormally violent. You drive Chaos Dominion with all your strength, yet you can still only watch your soul continuously being corroded by Disorder.]

[A large amount of Disorder spreads within your soul. Even though you possess powerful Disorder tolerance surpassing all gods in the world, when facing such large-scale Disorder corrosion, your Disorder tolerance will eventually be exhausted, and you can only sit and wait for death!]

[The administrator looks at you in your deathbed struggle and cannot help exclaiming in admiration, saying that your Disorder tolerance is the greatest He has ever seen. Even the Book of Disorder, which has devoured many Gods of Disorder, is inferior to you…]

[However, no matter how great your Disorder tolerance is, being thoroughly corroded is only a matter of time.]

[Give up. You no longer have any hope of winning…]

[…]

The Moon Goddess looked at the lines of text that appeared. Her footsteps continuously moved, and the searching of Her hands never stopped.

Suddenly, a line of text different from the others appeared on the phone.

[You have touched a Resting Page. The supreme soul resonates strongly with it!]

[You can use the following functions of the page.]

[1. Set resurrection point (this Resting Page is already the initial resurrection point)]

[2. Rest briefly.]

[3. Teleport.]

[4. …]

Even though the Moon Goddess had long since foreseen this scene, She still could not help curling Her lips into a beautiful smile.

She did not hesitate to tap the third option, Teleport, and pressed Library among the branch options!

[You have completed the administrator’s trial mission and possess the conditions to end the chapter and return to the Library.]

[You are about to return to the Library…]

[Teleporting…]

[…]

At the same time, beyond the distant starry sky, deep within the Sea of Disorder.

Lin Xun suddenly gave up resistance. The mist barrier constructed by Chaos Dominion collapsed and disintegrated in an instant.

The undercurrents at the bottom of the sea surged violently. An extremely terrifying and vast amount of Disorder had no more obstruction and madly surged toward him, polluting his body, corroding his soul, and erasing his will.

The administrator was startled and sensed that something was wrong.

Admittedly, under such a desperate situation, it was not unexpected that Lin Xun would ultimately give up resistance, but this should be a gradual process, not a case where his belief remained incomparably firm one moment, only to completely collapse the next.

Lin Xun allowed Disorder to corrode him, ignoring the vast amount of Disorder in his soul accumulating and growing exponentially.

He raised his head. Rotten and ugly sores gradually appeared on his face, limbs, and torso.

Yet Lin Xun’s gaze remained firm throughout. His line of sight pierced through the obstruction of the Sea of Disorder, staring straight into the administrator’s eyes and striking straight at the administrator’s heart:

“You, as the administrator, appear incomparably powerful and control the two most powerful books in the world.”

“But your power does not originate from yourself. You are merely the materialized product of a powerful will. The reason you can suppress me now is all because of the boundless divine power of the two books, because of the even stronger Fate Dominion!”

“You have always known where your fatal weakness lies, and have always tried to conceal your weakness.”

“But… I have long since seen through everything!”

At this moment, Lin Xun’s will was incomparably firm. All his divine power drove Chaos Dominion to establish and realize what he was thinking at this very moment.

Pure white teleportation light covered Lin Xun’s entire body, while at this moment, his body carried an extremely terrifying and vast amount of Disorder.

The administrator furrowed his brows and immediately realized what was going to happen next!

If Lin Xun successfully returned to the Library, then with the vast amount of Disorder on his body right now, it would be enough to overturn and destroy The Book of Salvation!

And the administrator’s will existed by relying on The Book of Salvation, so even after creating the Book of Disorder, he still had to connect the fates of the two, continuously giving the Book of Disorder’s tolerance to The Book of Salvation to ensure The Book of Salvation was not destroyed, and to ensure the existence of his own consciousness.

If The Book of Salvation were destroyed, then Fate Dominion and he would both perish along with The Book of Salvation!

The administrator had always been hiding this weakness. Even during the final decisive battle, he had only revealed the Book of Disorder.

Although he also used The Book of Salvation’s divine power, he had always left The Book of Salvation beyond the endless starry sky, making the enemy unconsciously overlook The Book of Salvation and thereby hiding this weakness.

The administrator immediately used his own permissions and waved his hand to interrupt the teleportation process.

The permissions he possessed were enough to interrupt teleportation. The administrator had done this before as well. As long as the teleportation was interrupted, all crises could be resolved.

The administrator’s operation to interrupt the teleportation succeeded, but it also failed.

He clearly sensed the feedback from The Book of Salvation. Teleportation had already stopped.

But the teleportation light flashing around Lin Xun did not dissipate as expected. Chaos black mist silently spread out, wrapped around the teleportation white light, and forcibly defined the existence of the teleportation white light.

No matter how the administrator used his permissions, he could not erase the teleportation white light.

The administrator could only watch helplessly as Lin Xun’s figure vanished with the blooming white light…

“You think this is enough to defeat me?”

The administrator still controlled Fate Dominion. The instant Lin Xun disappeared, he combined the great power of both books to drive Fate Dominion and push The Book of Salvation into a preview!

This way, even if The Book of Salvation was ultimately destroyed, he could push the preview back to the starting point and always remain undefeated.

The administrator had already thoroughly understood Lin Xun’s plan. If the preview was pushed back to the starting point, then Lin Xun would not have the slightest chance of victory.

This was the terrifying aspect of Fate Dominion. I can fail countless times, but as long as you lose once, you will be doomed beyond redemption!

Because the Book of Disorder contained a vast amount of Disorder and could not directly come into contact with The Book of Salvation, the administrator left the Book of Disorder behind. Teleportation white light flashed across his body, crossing the endless starry sky and returning to the Library.

Inside the spacious and magnificent circular hall, there was no lamplight, yet it was unusually bright.

Along the walls of the hall, a circle of tall bookshelves was arranged neatly. The shelves were filled with small books, but surrounded by the bookshelves, the hall’s entrance and exit could not be seen.

And at the center of the broad hall, an enormous Book of Salvation floated quietly. The book’s height already nearly reached the hall’s domed ceiling.

Beneath the floating Book of Salvation was an empty rattan rocking chair, and Lin Xun now stood before the rocking chair.

The entire Library shook violently because of his arrival. Countless small Book of Salvation volumes on the bookshelves fell to the floor amid the shaking. Several books slightly smaller than The Book of Salvation, such as the Book of Trade, Book of Craft, and Book of Arena, had all fallen to the ground, dim and lightless.

All of this was because of Lin Xun’s arrival, because of the vast amount of Disorder filling his body and soul!

The terrifying Disorder materialized into endless black malice qi through Extreme Evil Dominion, sweeping through the entire Library!

The endless aura of malice climbed onto the enormous The Book of Salvation, staining one page after another black, darkening the book cover, spreading rapidly like a drop of ink falling into clear water.

The administrator was powerless to stop everything. Even if he used Fate Connection again and continuously transmitted the Book of Disorder’s tolerance to The Book of Salvation, he still could not resist such a terrifying and vast amount of Disorder.

But the administrator also did not need to stop everything. He looked coldly at Lin Xun. “Your plan is indeed astonishing and unexpected.”

“Having Omniscient True Knowledge as your cooperative partner is your fortune.”

“But with such a plan, do you still have a second chance to use it?”

“This too is futile and useless struggle. Everything is still within the preview. Even if The Book of Salvation is destroyed, I can still push everything back to the starting point.”

“And I, as your final enemy, am your greatest misfortune!”

As he spoke, the terrifying and vast aura of malice continued to spread. The Library floor cracked, one bookshelf after another collapsed, and even The Book of Salvation at the center of the hall could no longer remain floating, slowly sinking and falling.

The Book of Salvation flipped its pages with a rustling sound. Most of the pages had already been thoroughly dyed black by the aura of malice. The paper pages lost all luster, as if they had been washed by the long river of time, and finally turned into rotten ash.

One of the pages transformed into countless flowing lights and colors, surging into Lin Xun’s web of consciousness, fusing into the Book of Knowledge, and becoming one page within the vast book.

Finally… The Book of Salvation fell to the ground!

In an instant, the Library that had carried countless myths and legends, countless eras and years, and endless chapter worlds turned into sand and powder, collapsing and dissipating!

The Disorder torrent accumulated inside the book for tens of millions of years erupted completely, pouring out with unstoppable momentum and destroying everything visible and still existing.

At this time, the preview finally reached its endpoint.

However, just as the administrator said, everything was only a part of the preview.

When the preview reached the endpoint but it was not the ending he wanted, everything would return to the starting point of the preview.

The administrator’s gaze was playful. He lightly raised his hand and, with the great power of the Book of Disorder beyond the distant starry sky, reversed the entire preview and returned all that had happened to the starting point.

The pouring Disorder torrent instantly stopped surging, as if a pause button had been pressed. The torrent not only stopped and froze, it even showed the terrifying trend of flowing backward and returning.

It was also at this moment that Lin Xun stared at the administrator with a gaze cold to the extreme, saying word by word.

“With Chaos Dominion, I define this time and this moment…”

“As true!!”

The true great power of Chaos Dominion was finally fully released! It swept through the visible dimensions of space and time!

The power of Chaos covered all visible things in hazy, blurred mist, transforming all things into superposition states unrestricted by any single rule, allowing the past, present, and future to interweave. All possibilities coexisted at this moment.

Then, the preview shattered, the shackles of fate completely broke, and everything was defined as true!

The power of Chaos Dominion thoroughly defined the preview as true. Any alteration, reversal, or preview became impossible from then on.

The Disorder torrent uncontrollably poured out, sweeping over and corroding all things.

Victory and defeat reversed and overturned in an instant!

The administrator, who had originally occupied an absolute advantage, lost the only thing maintaining him after The Book of Salvation fell. Before the defining power of Chaos Dominion, even his Fate Dominion, which stood above all things, appeared pale and powerless.

The Disorder torrent swept up the administrator’s figure and submerged him in endless Disorder.

“Define as true, Chaos… So this is the true meaning of Chaos…” The administrator’s voice echoed within the Disorder torrent, as he suddenly understood the incomparably terrifying and despairing true meaning of Chaos Dominion.

When his words fell, the Disorder torrent thoroughly swallowed the administrator’s figure.

The final enemy fell and perished at this moment!

Lin Xun closed his eyes. Chaos Dominion released once again. The destruction of The Book of Salvation precipitated endless Divinity power, which continuously surged into the depths of his soul, constantly increasing his Dominion divine power and also allowing him to thoroughly control Fate Dominion!

At this moment, his soul stood above all things, and within the entire void universe, there was no existence that could compare to him or stand beside him.

The rotting sores on his body receded one by one, and the vast and terrifying amount of Disorder within his soul fully dissipated.

The Disorder torrent stopped and split before him. Beneath the chaos mist, the vast Disorder torrent evaporated and dissipated, finally returning to silence.

“Still a little short. Still the final step!”

At the same time, the real world that had already been taken into the Book of Knowledge.

Yun Capital City Apostle Security Council headquarters. Li Long suddenly froze, sensed something in his heart, and took out his phone, only to see the icon of the game called The Book of Salvation slowly become hazy and blurry before finally disappearing.

His expression was complicated, and in the end he smiled in relief. “That kid finally did it.”

In a courtyard guarded layer upon layer with countless security personnel, the Chairman-in-Chief looked at the gradually disappearing game, rose to his feet with an excited gaze, and faint tears shimmered in his eyes.

“The administrator finally… He succeeded.”

Inside a hidden manor castle, the Lord knocked over a silver dinner plate and looked in disbelief at the disappearing game. He lost his usual calm and dignity and roared madly, “What is going on?!”

“Right… it is him! It must be him!”

Yun Capital City Kunlun headquarters, the Intelligence Directorate, Wen City Armed Division office…

Countless Apostles took out their phones at the same time and watched the miraculous game disappear before their eyes, with anger, loss, terror, relief…

This was a day enough to shake the entire real world.

Lin Xun’s figure flashed, and he had already appeared beyond the endless starry sky.

The Book of Disorder floated quietly in the star field. Because of the Fate Connection in the unseen, this book containing vast divine power was also about to be destroyed like The Book of Salvation.

Chaos mist spread out and covered the entire Book of Disorder. Lin Xun actively destroyed this book and absorbed the vast divine power within it…

Within the web of consciousness, the Book of Knowledge flipped its pages with a rustling sound, and the figure of the Servant of Knowledge appeared beside Lin Xun.

The Servant of Knowledge’s gaze was kind and gentle. He had long since understood that Lin Xun would definitely grasp that only hope and lock in the final victory.

And what he needed to do now was witness Lin Xun reach the realm that all gods in the void universe had never touched, transcendence!

This was the supreme realm that surpassed the fundamental laws of the universe and broke free from the shackles of Disorder. It was also the far shore dreamed of by all gods.

When Lin Xun successfully absorbed all the divine power within the Book of Disorder, he finally took that step!

His consciousness seemed to pass through layer after layer of barriers, achieving a leap beyond the essence of all things.

Lin Xun’s vision broke through the limitations of space and shook free from the shackles of time. His existence had already separated from the concept of dimensions and achieved true transcendence.

At this moment, Lin Xun saw outside the void universe, saw the so-called true outside.

There was no dawn that he had once imagined, but instead darkness filled with deep, boundless, suffocating oppression…

“Lin Xun, what exactly is outside?”

Lin Xun’s gaze was complicated, and he did not answer directly. “I will help Omniscience clean up all Disorder. After Omniscience also reaches the realm of transcendence, you will understand.”

One month later, Wen City, villa on the island.

The villa was built beside a natural lake, gazing east toward the river’s estuary into the sea, where the river surface was broad and vast. Its north side leaned against the mountains, and to the south, across the river, was the prosperous urban district of Wen City.

The villa was far from the city, very private and quiet. Facilities such as a large garden and swimming pool were all complete.

In the courtyard, the laughter of charming women continued one after another. The beautiful women among them seemed all enthusiastic about cosplay, and each of their outfits looked ready for an anime convention.

There was a female Sword Immortal in palace dress, a female scholar wearing a scholar’s robe, a fox demon with nine tails behind her hips, a snow woman in kimono with snow-white hair, a pure girl in a white dress and bare feet like an elf, a young girl with a dazed expression like a puppet, the proud fairy Nymph in a yellow dress, and even a female Bodhisattva with a compassionate expression…

The man wore sunglasses and lay on a rocking chair, enjoying the summer sunlight.

Footsteps approached from behind. The beautiful woman wearing a moon crown had a humble expression as she brought over washed and cut fruit.

While feeding the fruit to the man’s mouth, she massaged the man’s shoulders…

Suddenly, a strong man with a fat belly hurriedly ran over and called out loudly, “Little Junior Brother, Great God Lu Wu and the others said they want to go out drinking tonight. They are playing poker right now and want you to lose a little… No, want you to win a little drinking money.”

The corner of Lin Xun’s eye twitched. If the tiger does not show its might, do you really think I am Hello Kitty?

You really think I disdain using Chaos Dominion? Otherwise, could I let you guys win money?

Lin Xun looked up and saw Kim on the second-floor balcony of the villa, wearing a baseball cap and a mask that covered him tightly, waving at him and signaling him to move faster and stop dawdling.

Looking inside, Nurarihyon, Lu Wu, Bennett, and the others were all waiting for him.

In truth, Lin Xun had arranged businesses and residences for all of them, but every few days, they would always come to his place to gather.

“Coming, coming. If I don’t make you lose until even your underpants are gone today, then my surname isn’t Lin!”

Just as Lin Xun was about to get up, his phone suddenly rang.

Seeing the note as Boss Lady, he immediately fumbled and hurriedly answered the call.

“You brat! If I don’t call you, you don’t know to call your mother?”

“How would I dare? How would I dare? I’ve just been too busy with work and didn’t think of it for a while.”

The Moon Goddess looked at the man before her with his cautious and humble appearance. Where was the boundless great power that killed gods at the slightest disagreement?

However, the Moon Goddess did not dare laugh secretly at all. She could only look straight ahead and pretend that she had completely not seen it.

“It’s not that your mother wants to nag you, but you’re not young anymore. It’s time you found a girlfriend.”

“Look, your little aunt introduced another girl to you…”

Lin Xun glanced at the charming women in the courtyard and thought, If I wanted to, you’d already have a whole basket of grandchildren to hold.

“Cough, cough, Mom, actually, I already have a girlfriend…”

“Eh? What did you say?” A storm of questions immediately came from the other end of the phone. “When did this happen? Why didn’t I know? How old is that girl? Is she local or from elsewhere…”

Lin Xun’s face was covered in black lines. Only after a long round of soothing did he stabilize his mother, promising to bring his girlfriend home during dinner for the two elders to see.

After hanging up, he spread his hands toward the White Elephant Demon and said helplessly, “Eldest Senior Brother, you guys play first…”

The White Elephant Demon looked toward the courtyard, then winked at him and leaned in somewhat nosily to whisper, “I understand, I understand. But Little Junior Brother, which one are you planning to bring back to meet your mother?”

This was a question that struck straight at the soul, and Lin Xun could not help falling into deep thought.

In a corner of the garden, a three-headed wild beast snorted in their sleep. It opened it’s eyes and looked, only to see that it was the Golden-Horned Deer rubbing against it ingratiatingly…

At dusk, in a residential compound.

When Mother Lin heard the doorbell ring, she immediately sprang up from the sofa and said to the middle-aged man who was carrying dishes to the table, “Old man, they’re here, they’re here!”

The middle-aged man’s spirit shook. He wiped his hands on his apron and was just about to go open the door, but Mother Lin beat him to it.

The door opened, and they saw a woman wearing a pure white dress, with a first-love face yet a stepmother grade devilish figure, standing timidly at the entrance.

Her cheeks were rosy, and she was also carrying large and small bags of gifts.

“Hello, Auntie.”

Mother Lin looked at the beautiful woman before her and seemed to feel that she was somewhat familiar. She furrowed her brows and hesitated. “You are… Lu, Lu Caiyi?”

Seeing the woman nod, Mother Lin thought, Goodness, there was no movement for so long, but in the end, he silently won over the blind date.

She quickly let the girl enter. “Where is that brat Lin Xun?”

“Auntie, he said he has something to do right now and will arrive in a bit.”

Mother Lin had only just let Lu Caiyi sit down, and had not even had time to brew tea, when the sound of high heels clacking rang out in the hallway.

Immediately after, the doorbell was pressed again.

Mother Lin hurriedly got up and opened the door.

“Hello, Auntie.”

At the door stood a tall woman wearing a suit skirt. Her temperament was cool and distant, but she had a pair of beautiful peach blossom eyes. She was also carrying large and small bags of gifts.

“Young lady, did you go to the wrong door?”

Li Xingyue smiled and said, “Auntie, I didn’t. Lin Xun said he’ll come in a bit.”

Mother Lin was instantly dumbfounded.

The End.

[T/N: Hope you enjoyed the ending, guys. There’s only the Author’s Afterword left now. I feel like this could have gone on a bit longer, but it’s still a decent ending.

I’m kind of torn on this novel. On one hand, I really enjoyed it, but on the other, it was a pain in the ass to translate. This is easily the hardest novel I’ve translated, and it’s not even close. Between all the details I had to remember, all the notes I had to dig through to keep the names consistent, and the game text being written in second person present tense while the main text was written in third person past tense, it was a lot. I doubt I’ll be taking on projects like this again lol, but regardless, I had a lot of fun reading this, and I hope you did too.

I’ve got some other projects on my site, galacticnovels . com, plus some new coming soon that you might enjoy. Either way, if you are reading this elsewhere come say hi and let me know what you thought of the ending. Thanks for reading!]
