His face etched with exhaustion, Shu Chao Yu said, "That was yesterday. Yesterday is over."
"No! I won’t!" Xiao Juzi threw a tantrum in his arms, his fluffy paws scratching and clawing as he flailed wildly. "I’m going! I’m going! I haven’t seen Mama all night!"
"Alright, alright, alright! You’re my little overlord, you know that?!" Shu Chao Yu conceded, but with a clever caveat. "How about we call your mama first? If she says it’s okay, I’ll take you."
Xiao Juzi stopped his tantrum but continued to pout unhappily.
Seeing he’d been swayed, Shu Chao Yu struck while the iron was hot. "Your grand-uncle used to be a student at your mama’s school, so I know where it is. I won’t take you to the wrong place."

"I know~" Xiao Juzi said. "Yesterday, Mama and I even took a picture with you at the Wall of Honor~"
His heart melted at those words. Shu Chao Yu pressed his forehead against Xiao Juzi’s small, fluffy head and rubbed it affectionately.
Shu Chao Yu ordered his Light Brain to contact Shu Yao, but the response he received was:

The Light Brain’s cute voice made his heart sink.
