The third layer of protection on the safe was unlocked.
Squatting in front of the safe, William inexplicably glanced behind him.

But looking around, not a soul was in sight.
"Be careful, don’t slack off," William instructed.

After confirming there was no one around, William placed his hand on the knob of the safe.
Rotating it several times, he heard a "click" sound.
Gently, William opened the safe, inside which quietly lay a silver suitcase.
Taking the suitcase out, William opened it.
The statue was calmly placed inside.
And it looked exactly the same as the one in Zhang Youfu’s hand, except it was a bit darker, closer to black.
Upon seeing the statue, William’s expression visibly relaxed.
He quickly closed the suitcase, preparing to leave.
But at that moment, William heard a strange sound behind him.
He turned his head sharply and found two bodyguards lying on the ground, unconscious!

The remaining two bodyguards were caught completely off guard.

Realizing something was wrong, they turned sharply, instinctively reaching for their waists to draw their weapons.
But at that moment, both felt their necks tighten, making it hard to breathe.
Lin Yi gave them no chance to struggle, exerting force with his hands, snapping the necks of the two bodyguards.
After resolving the immediate trouble, Lin Yi glanced outside the Research Institute, where several people were still guarding, but for now, he was safe and needed to leave quickly.
