Mu Donglin’s eyes went cold. “Are you talking terms with me?”
“No.” Li Beinian’s expression went cold as well. “I just want sincerity from you.”
“And if I don’t agree to it?”
“Then what’s there to talk about? It’s my man we’re talking about here. I don’t care about his past, but since he chooses to be with me, then I won’t allow him to be impure in any way.” Li Beinian kept his eyes on him. “Confusion suggests infidelity. I’d rather sever ties between us than watch you waver between your choices.”
