Chapter 734 - 753: Lovely Fans
Chapter 734: Chapter 753: Lovely Fans
["Do I have to use chopsticks and scissors? The scissors I found at home are too big. They’re hard to handle."]
You could see the fan’s distress just from their comment.
They were even a high-V user—the kind who could post small pictures in the bullet comments—so they’d included a photo.
The crab was a virtual projection on their table, but the scissors... who knows what this person did for a living, but their pair of scissors was as big as three of the crabs.
They had placed the scissors right next to the crab.
It definitely didn’t look easy to handle.
[???]
[Bro, are those scissors for trimming a Gugu Beast? They’re huge!]
[So long.]
Jiang Qiuqiu burst out laughing when she saw the message. "What are you thinking? You don’t have to use scissors. Actually, when you’re eating by yourself, using your hands is the most convenient way."
"Why don’t I use my hands during the demonstration? Well, I am a lady, after all. Getting my hands dirty would ruin my elegant image, you know."
"Alright! I’m going to eat the top shell now! Since the sight of me eating this might be a little... wild, for the next minute, everyone just look at the cutting board."
The robot camera was fixed in place; the shot didn’t move.
No longer concerned with appearances, Jiang Qiuqiu casually and deftly picked up the crab’s top shell and took a bite. Mmm!
Her eyes squeezed shut in pleasure.
After the first bite, she dipped it in the sauce she’d prepared and finished off the top shell in just a few more bites.
After grabbing a napkin from the side to wipe her mouth, she readjusted the camera and began to dismantle the crab.
What are crab roe noodles? It’s simple. You scoop out all the meat and roe from the mud crab and place them into separate small bowls. It’s a delicate and technical task.
Luckily, the crab wasn’t small, and Jiang Qiuqiu’s hands moved at lightning speed.
The bullet comments were filled with amazement.
[She’s back! Fast-Hands Juju is back in action!]
[A crafting streamer, performing live!]
Why did she choose to dismantle the crab now? Everyone had just gotten their share of the food and would probably be eating for ten-odd minutes. If she was quick, she could finish dismantling it and save everyone from having to wait around.
Working in silence, her efficiency was even greater than usual.
Before long, only empty shells remained in the steamer. Next to her, a white porcelain bowl was now filled with snow-white crab meat, while a small saucer was piled high with golden crab roe.
Time to get cooking.
The dough had finished proofing. She sprinkled it with some dry flour, rolled it flat, folded it over and over, and used a sharp kitchen knife to slice it into thin, smooth noodles. The whole process was incredibly fast.
It left everyone a little dazzled.
"Ah, are you asking why I’m moving faster?"
"Um... the time! It’s almost seven. I have to finish up and hurry back to my dorm. I still have things to do tonight."
Only then did everyone remember, oh, it was still a workday.
The fans quickly urged her on, saying that if she really couldn’t finish, it was okay, since they had already eaten crab anyway.
"No, no, no, this will be very quick."
And when she said quick, she meant it. She put a pot of water on to boil. Before the water even came to a boil, she started stir-frying the crab roe sauce. She started with a scallion oil base. Once the aroma bloomed, she added the crab roe and broke up the dense clumps. The high heat made the fragrance spread rapidly. Then, she quickly poured in the crab meat. The snow-white meat was instantly stained by the pale yellow oil. All it needed was a pinch of seasoning to preserve the sauce’s natural flavor.
Just before taking it off the heat, she added a cornstarch slurry and gave it a few casual stirs. Add chopped scallions if you like, don’t if you don’t. The topping was ready.
At that exact moment, the water in the pot came to a boil.
The soft noodles went into the water. The boiling water enveloped the delicate strands. With a couple of casual stirs of her chopsticks, the thin noodles were cooked.
She scooped them out, let them drain for a moment, and placed them on a plate. Then, she ladled a large spoonful of the crab roe sauce on top of the white noodles.
A gentle stir, and the delicious meal was ready.
