"There’s a revolving restaurant nearby. Why don’t we just go eat there?"

The six of them stood there, laden with shopping bags. The weather outside was lovely. A couple of days prior, to prepare for a livestream, she had brought over the barbecue grill from her Starry Sky Wander house.

They had taken a hovercar taxi on the way there, but on the way back, they rode in a self-driving hovercar from Mei Lin’s family.
A robot piloted it from the front, while the group of six sat in the back chatting, drinking tea, and eating data snacks.

The hovercar arrived back at the university at 2:30 in the afternoon.
After they dropped their new clothes off at their dorms, Jiang Qiuqiu led the group to the faculty apartments.
The small villas here were spaced far apart, and each had its own yard. Jiang Qiuqiu directed a few of them to bring the barbecue grill and fire starters out of the house while she pulled all the ingredients out of the refrigerator.

’Might as well skewer everything.’ After setting out the ingredients, she also placed a quick order on Taotao Fresh for one of her usual meal kits.

The grill and fire starters were quickly set up in the yard. Everyone bustled into the kitchen, eager to see if there was anything they could do to help.
Thankfully, with Mrs. Ai’er’s permission, Qiuqiu had already remodeled the layout and significantly expanded the kitchen. Otherwise, there would have been no way for so many people to fit.
