Chapter 265: Is Su Zhaozhao So Wild?
Chapter 265: Chapter 265: Is Su Zhaozhao So Wild?
After Su Zhaozhao finished her shower, she came out, climbed into bed, and lay down.
The alcohol had made her a little dizzy earlier, but now, after her shower, she felt a bit more clear-headed.
She turned her head and found Xie Huaizheng sitting motionless by the bed, his eyes fixed on her, but he didn’t say a word.
His expression was a little complicated, as if he wanted to say something.
This wasn’t like Xie Huaizheng at all.
Usually, when he saw her come back, he would immediately go wash up and then hold her to sleep.
"What’s wrong?"
"Zhaozhao, I never realized you had such a hidden side. You always blush so easily, I thought you didn’t like it," Xie Huaizheng said, staring at Su Zhaozhao with a meaningful gaze.
"If you had told me earlier you liked this kind of thing, I could have played along. I’d be more than happy to," Xie Huaizheng said.
He wouldn’t have even minded if Su Zhaozhao wanted to play with him like he was her dog.
As long as she enjoyed it, Xie Huaizheng felt that anything was on the table.
Su Zhaozhao: "???"
But Xie Huaizheng didn’t let her explain. He grabbed his clothes and went into the bathroom to wash up.
Su Zhaozhao sat on the edge of the bed, completely bewildered. ’Why does Xie Huaizheng feel so strange all of a sudden? What’s wrong with him?’
’Or did I do something to make him misunderstand?’
Su Zhaozhao thought for a long time but couldn’t figure it out.
The alcohol was starting to make her head spin again. She had wanted to wait for Xie Huaizheng to come back, but as she waited, she couldn’t keep her eyes open any longer.
Before she knew it, she had fallen asleep.
While Xie Huaizheng was in the shower, he was still thinking, ’Zhaozhao is so wild. Was I a bit too conservative before?’
He had heard about certain items that could enhance a married couple’s intimacy, but he had never thought of using them.
He figured he alone was already a handful for Su Zhaozhao.
But now, after he had opened that box and seen what was inside, he suddenly discovered that his Zhaozhao was much more uninhibited than he had ever imagined.
’Later, if she’s not so tired, I can play along with her.’
’However, I did just glance at that outfit. The size seemed a little small. It probably won’t button up all the way.’
’But that would probably make it look even sexier, right? My muscles would be on display.’
Xie Huaizheng quickly finished his shower and came out, not even bothering to dry himself off completely as he rushed back to the room.
But instead, he found Su Zhaozhao lying in bed, sleeping peacefully.
Xie Huaizheng: "..."
He had thought Su Zhaozhao had deliberately hidden it for him to find so he could figure it out on his own.
And here he’d been, washing up in the bathroom while brainstorming ways to satisfy Su Zhaozhao.
He had always been the one to take the initiative before, but judging by the... tools... in Su Zhaozhao’s box, it seemed she was supposed to be the active one.
This was the girl who would blush and get shy if he just gave her a few extra kisses. He had no idea what she’d be like when she was the one taking charge with those things.
But he never expected that Su Zhaozhao would just fall asleep!
Xie Huaizheng sighed helplessly. He walked over to Su Zhaozhao’s side and gazed at her sleeping face. She looked so serene, so incredibly kissable.
Xie Huaizheng carefully leaned in and kissed her cheek.
’Oh well. If not today, then some other time.’
He was a magnanimous husband; he would definitely make sure Su Zhaozhao had her fun.
Su Zhaozhao had class early tomorrow morning, so he wouldn’t disturb her any further.
He turned off the light, lay down beside her, and carefully gathered Su Zhaozhao into his arms.
After shifting into a position comfortable for them both, Xie Huaizheng closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.
The next day, Su Zhaozhao woke up, attended her class, and then went to the guest house to find Shu Xue.
Shu Xue was very happy to see her.
"Zhaozhao, what are you doing here?"
"Aren’t you heading back today? I came to see you off."
"Aiya, you’re really too kind," Shu Xue said, beaming at Su Zhaozhao.
’Su Zhaozhao really is so beautiful.’
The weather had gotten a little colder, and she was wearing a white sweater with a dark blue, floral-print skirt. The whole look was gentle and ladylike.
Her small face was fair and radiant, her eyes sparkled, and when she smiled, it was like the bright sun of spring, or a lush peony in full bloom.
’So pretty.’
She was from Jiang City herself, but she knew that there weren’t many girls in Jiang City who were as beautiful as Su Zhaozhao.
"Zhaozhao, honestly, have you ever considered debuting as a celebrity in the future?"
Su Zhaozhao was taken aback by Shu Xue’s words, then immediately shook her head. "No. With my qualifications, how could I be a celebrity?"
’I may be good-looking, but my acting is terrible.’
Besides, she had no interest in acting or anything like that. She was more interested in focusing on making money and her favorite subject, psychology.
’In the future,’ she thought, ’if I take the college entrance exams here, I’ll probably major in something related to psychology.’
’For one, I’m already familiar with it, so I wouldn’t have to spend too much energy and could focus on other things.’
’And for another, it’s because I really love this line of work.’
’It’s a way to help the people around me, to pull them out of their suffering.’
Su Zhaozhao truly loved it.
"But your qualifications are perfect for being a star! You’re more beautiful than any of the actresses who are popular now. I’ve seen those actresses from Hong Kong, and none of them are as pretty as you. Zhaozhao, with your looks, you could make it big even in Hong Kong."
Although Hong Kong had not yet been returned to China, many of its movies and songs had already begun to circulate on the mainland, and young people were more or less fascinated by the place.
Whatever was popular there was eagerly sought after by countless young people on the mainland.
"No, no. I just like enjoying this ordinary life I have now."
"That’s not bad either."
Shu Xue said, "You and Xie Huaizheng are really good together. And even though he was my arranged-marriage fiancé, don’t worry, I’m not going to try and steal him from you."
’Besides, I probably couldn’t steal him away even if I tried.’
’They’re so in love. If I really did steal him, I’d just end up being the bad guy.’
Shu Xue picked up her luggage, ready to go take the bus.
She chatted with Su Zhaozhao as they walked. "But honestly, you have a lot of handsome guys here. When I was by the bus stop yesterday, I ran into a good-looking soldier. He was a bit cold, though, and barely responded when I talked to him."
Su Zhaozhao smiled. "You like him? We could have Huai Zheng ask around and find out who he is."
"No, no, forget it." Shu Xue waved her hand dismissively. "The conditions here are so harsh. If I ended up dating him and had to stay here, I wouldn’t be able to take it."
The words had barely left her mouth when a black Santana pulled up in front of them.
A man got out of the car.
He wore a crisp military uniform. His face was handsome and stern, yet he also had a gentle, refined air about him, which was quite different from the general temperament in West State.
He had the steadfast presence of a pine tree, yet also the gentleness of a willow.
Shu Xue stared at the newcomer, wishing she could take back everything she had just said.
’Damn it, there’s no way this handsome guy heard me, right?’
When Su Zhaozhao saw who it was, she couldn’t help but freeze.
’Huh? Why is it Xie Huaizhen?’
