Chapter 1332: Killing Primordials - End

Chapter 1332: Killing Primordials - End

However, unlike Iapetus and co. who would never discover the intricacies unless Draco personally explained them, Shuangtian and Eva had a backdoor into Draco's mind which allowed them to peek into the inner workings of his bag of tricks.

When they looked within and saw the procedure, they were both speechless and deeply impressed. Iapetus' punches were something even Shuangtian would have to take slightly seriously if she were to counter them, so you should know that their power was not lacking.

However, Draco was using his finger to block each one, giving the illusion of greater strength, but no physical strength was involved in his handling of the matter whatsoever!

Rather, just like his own short battle with Shuangtian earlier, Draco was simply transferring the force of Iapetus' punches into a stable pocket realm and letting it accumulate there. Every time Iapetus struck one of Draco's fingers, a miniature portal would appear that would swallow all the force Draco received, like a sort of damage transfer.

The previous shameless Draco also did this sometimes, but never as skillfully as this current guy, so Eva — and especially Shuangtian — were really starting to believe his claim that he was the essence of skill and technique.

Iapetus was ignorant of this, so fear burgeoned in his heart as he saw that his greatest reliance, his massive strength, was easily dealt with by this puny human invader. It was no wonder he was able to vanquish his siblings before — this fellow was the real deal!

"Alright, enough. It's my turn to lay down the pain," Draco stated with a cold smile, flinging away Iapetus' hand from his most recent punch and unbalancing the fellow.

Iapetus almost fell over despite being in mid-air, but he recovered himself and straightened out, only to see that Draco had appeared before his chest. The human invader that was only a tenth of his size smirked with malicious amusement and punched out, a fist that was not coated in any special energy or power.

Yet when it connected, Iapetus' eyes widened as his body bent backward, the sheer force of the blow causing shockwaves to erupt behind him.

Puuu…blergh!

Iapetus' mouth swelled up for a split second, as he spat out a huge mouthful of blood like a miniature lake the next moment, his body flying backward like a broken kite and crashing into the lovely meadowland below.

Draco seemed disappointed that it only took one punch to severely wound the fellow and leave him near death, unable to get up from the ditch he was in. Glancing at his unassuming fist, Draco snorted coldly and then folded his hands behind his back as he gazed at the two remaining fellows, Coeus and Mnemosyne.

Coeus was in no state to fight, still desperately fighting against the Destruction Energy Draco implanted in his chest from the earlier attack, while Mnemosyne was someone none of them had looked to since the start, knowing that he was just a shell of his former self.

Seeing the devastation, Mnemosyne sighed deeply and stepped forward. "We admit defeat, Sir Draco. Please let us know your terms for our surrender."

Draco was surprised by the sudden change as he raised an eyebrow. He looked to the unruly Iapetus, but the fellow had heard his sibling's words and lowered his head, while Coeus was not in the mood to cause trouble.

Even Gaia was gritting her teeth but remaining silent, hoping Draco would just go away.

Draco pondered and activated his bloodline, calling out the Infinite Dragon. Like Shenron, the Infinite Dragon materialized in front of Draco, its large and endless body coiling around the skies of the meadowland while roaring out its divine presence.

All the beings below, whether primordials or even Pseudo-Eternals like Eva and Shuangtian, immediately felt a deep suppression acting on them in the aspect of fate. Eva and Shuangtian felt this more than anyone else, as Eva's golden eyes of fate allowed her to literally change the flow of karma, while Shuangtian controlled the Dao and Law of Fate through one of her other branches.

However, both of them could tell at this moment that this dragon's control over fate and karma was far greater than theirs, not in terms of energy, but in terms of universal hierarchy. After all, Eva and Shuangtian's control of fate came from branches that did not entirely focus on fate, being more like a side ability.

However, this Infinite Dragon was almost literally the incarnation of the universe's Law of Fate, Fortune, and Karma.

It was one of the three great Origin Dragons!

It stood on a higher peak than the God Serpents; even the Black and White Dragon could only call it ancestor.

Being called out like this, the avatar of the Infinite Dragon surveyed the area then turned its giant head to Draco. At first, there was a flash of resistance and anger in its eyes, but when edgelord Draco glanced at it, that resistance turned into fear and obedience.

"How petty, still nurturing a grudge from back then?" Draco chuckled with amusement.

Of course, he was referring to the Infinite Dragon's last appearance during the bestowal ceremony, when he bestowed 0.01% of the Infinite Dragon to the arrogant Fitter Cleric, which almost caused Eva and Shuangtian's protagonist luck to be suppressed and replaced by him.

As such, Shameless Draco intended to capture Fitter and seize it back, but the Infinite Dragon Draco bestowed upon Fitter contacted the main body within Draco himself and caused him to backlash.

When he questioned the main body, it revealed that it grew its power by consuming chosen ones within this universe and the myriad universes as well as timelines, so a person with a natural luck body like Fitter was its designated meal.

Naturally, Draco could not tolerate this. It was fine to bully his beloved core members occasionally, but to dare try and consume them for good — was this Infinite Dragon taking him for a joke?

As such, Shameless Draco utilized a mixture of the Devour branch as well as Nidhogg's devour ability to drain the Infinite Dragon to death, almost eliminating it for good.

The Infinite Dragon could only exist now because it was a conceptual creature that cannot be truly extinguished, not to mention that edgelord Draco reversed many of the foolish decisions Lucifer/Shameless Draco made back then.

In fact, looking back at it, part of the reason Lucifer even dared to come out was because Draco seized his own luck from the Infinite Dragon, which made him untouchable for a long time, fortune-wise.

However, the problem with doing that was that the fortune consumed during that time when he wielded it personally could not be regenerated, but the Infinite Dragon could do so — only that it gave out the fortune passively and in far smaller amounts.

That was why Draco faced very few challenges after doing that act till now, but now that the Infinite Dragon was back, any obstacles in his way would become significantly harder to deal with. However, now his luck would be everlasting, unlike when he personally seized it, which was temporary.

Even though he would not face any challenges, the moment that luck ran out, he would be a common floor member and the story of his life would likely end. It was likely that no matter how talented, the moment that luck ran out, a gang of perfected Eternal Gods from the Eternal Plane would somehow run down and smash him to paste and scatter the ashes.

Seeing that the Infinite Dragon was still pissed about that amused Draco, but he wouldn't let it dare harbor any thoughts of resistance. As such, he immediately made it clear he was not that same silly and playful fellow from before, but something much colder and much crueler.

This naturally cowed the rebellious Infinite Dragon. Like all of Draco's avatars and aspects, it knew about the reincarnation and the dual timelines, so it had seen the extent of this fellow's cruelty in the previous timeline.

The Infinite Dragon was not paid enough to be tough with such a crazy and malevolent guy, so he naturally hung up the belt and became a monk!

"Alright, I called you here to do a divination of sorts. Check if letting these guys go in any fashion or way will cause me later trouble, or if it's best to kill them all right now," Draco requested with folded arms.

Hearing that this was why this majestic creature was summoned, everyone became partly speechless, but there was also plenty of tension. Essentially, whether every primordial aside from Gaia would survive today all hinged on the whims and words of this Infinite Dragon.

Meanwhile, the Infinite Dragon glanced at the fellows and then activated its power, peeking into multiple fate lines and outcomes, reducing a few that were harmful to Draco while promoting ones that were beneficial.

The primordials on the ground couldn't directly tell, but they did feel a phantom of discomfort. It was as if something important had been taken away from them without them knowing — like that feeling when you're walking in a crowd and feel like your pockets are too loose.

The Infinite Dragon cooled down and turned to Draco with a shake of its head.

"If you slaughter them all, there is a 93.41% chance of greater trouble as Gaia would either try to destroy the planet to seek revenge for her fallen family or invite wolves into the house, allowing evil beings within the Milky Way to devour Earth as long as they kill you."

The faces of Eva, Shuangtian, Iapetus, Coeus, and Mnemosyne changed greatly as they glanced at Gaia with mixed expressions, while Draco looked over coldly.

"Oh?"

Meanwhile, Gaia — who had been silent all this while, hatred burning in her heart and eating away at her rationality — lowered her head because she knew at this moment that this dragon could truly see the future!

She was considering doing those things if this bastard invader dared to harm any more of her children!

As for things like the status quo, how could she care about that? If Draco killed all her children here, then what more was left for her in this world? To wait silently as he practiced and grew up, then came to kill her too?

Since she did not have the ability to kill him, was not mutual self-destruction also an option? If not, then she could at least target his precious sub-humans who he seemed to want to raise and nurture — the ones that lived on her body.

Gaia could easily snuff them out at any time effortlessly, but had held back for many reasons, the status quo being the main one. If Draco broke it, then…

Draco's eyes condensed as he read Gaia's thoughts, then understood the long and short of it. As they say, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned — or in this case, fear a person who has no attachments, for nothing holds them back.

"Hmph, consider yourself lucky," Draco muttered, not feeling burdened or troubled.

He knew when to bite and when to let go; otherwise, he couldn't have managed a divine guild like Hellscape all alone. Besides, he could kill the other primordials, but even with all his skill, he could not yet truly kill an Origin God.

He could disable them, like he did Gaia, but that had limited application and was only good for scaring them when they did not understand the logic behind it — like right now.

Anyway, from the very beginning, he had one goal and it was what he said to Eva and Shuangtian: let them kill a few primordials to vent their anger at his assassination attempt and go. The plan was never to exterminate them all, though if he could, he definitely would.

After saying those harsh words, Draco teleported to his bases and opened a portal back to the human world. The Infinite Dragon glanced at the group of primordials with pity and schadenfreude before returning to Draco's body, while the trio of humans finally departed from the sacred realm.

Leaving a thoroughly traumatized and devastated group of primordials behind.
