Growing Fond of You, Mr Nian

Chapter 1467

Chapter 1467: Because I Want to Make Your Sister My Little Piggy

Yan Su’s heart raced.

Maybe it was too much of a surprise—her mind went blank.

However, Yan Lv soon calmed down and frowned, “You two are way too young right now. You are crazy in love now and you promised to be with her for the rest of her life. Do you even understand what an entire lifetime means? It’s not just a few years, it’s decades. Staying with each other for your whole life is not easy.”

“I know,” Mo Liuxi looked down to the ground. His lips were pale, freezing. He continued, “My parents fell in love when they were both very young—they divorced soon after. You are right, marriage won’t last for a lifetime just because of love… it requires devotion. I love Susu, and I am willing to devote myself to her. Susu, I am not lying. I did not know Yan Yan was my daughter. I only knew that you had a child and I thought she was Shi Xiang’s baby. I hesitated. I was in pain. I was mean to you. But still, I couldn’t resist getting closer to you. I couldn’t stand anyone taking advantage of you, and at that time I thought… even if you had another man’s child, I still want to be with you. I would be willing to accept the child for your sake. So, when I found out that Yan Yan was my daughter, I was thrilled.”

“The past few days we spent together… Yan Yan, you and me… I’ve never felt so complete. It’s as if I’ve finally found my direction and goal in life. I finally understand why a man would work so hard his whole life.”

Every word from Mo Liuxi echoed inside Yan Su’s heart.

It was the first time she had ever heard those words, and the first time she knew what Mo Liuxi was thinking.

It seemed like Mo Liuxi was telling the truth. He did not know Yan Yan was his child, but he still chose to help her and was nice to her the whole time.

Yan Su did not realize how much pain he was in while she knew the whole time that Yan Yan was his daughter.

In hindsight, it was incredible how much pain Mo Liuxi had to endure.

Even Jiang Peiying sighed as if she felt all of Mo Liuxi’s pain.

If a man could accept another man’s child as his own, he was doing it for love.

Mo Liuxi’s knee was sore. He had never knelt for so long in his life.

Nevertheless, Mo Liuxi continued to say, “Uncle, Aunty, I understand if you do not trust me. Susu and I have not known each other for very long, but your daughter is going to marry someone eventually. You can take your time to test and see if I am a good man or not. Marriage is an art, and I am simply asking you for a chance.”

Jiang Peiying looked to Yan Lv, unsure of what to do. “What do you say?”

Yan Lv walked toward Mo Liuxi and said, “Did your parents approve of your proposal? Have you prepared an apartment? Where are you going to live? Have you thought about that?”

“My parents do not interfere with my life. I can be with whoever I like. If they do not approve of us and insist that we shouldn’t be together… You could just adopt me into your family,” Mo Liuxi said nonchalantly.

Yan Lv was speechless.

Mo Liuxi then said, “As for where to live… probably Xia City, but I’ll live where Susu pleases. I’ll be stuck with her for life anyway.”

Yan Su found that rather amusing.

Isn’t it the bride who usually says that? Stuck with the man for life? It was instead Mo Liuxi who said that.

“Susu, will you marry me?” Mo Liuxi looked at Yan Su’s smiling face and said with all his heart, “I’ll cook for you for life. I’ll make chicken wings… I’ll make snacks for you in the middle of the night… I’ll buy you milk tea, ice cream, yogurt…”

“Those are not healthy choices though,” Yan Jin could not help but complain.

“Because I want to make your sister my little piggy,” Mo Liuxi said gently.

Yan Jin was upset and said, “Do you want to marry me? I’d marry you!”
