Chapter 193: Punishing a Naughty Maid
Chapter 193: Punishing a Naughty Maid
Yuna was currently sitting crosslegged inside her room with a frown on her face and in deep concentration.
‘No matter how I look at it, something feels off. That last attack against Obito shouldn’t have simply given him a bunch of gashes, it should have cut him into pieces. Additionally, those wood dragons weakened my attack much more than I imagined they would. I have fought Hashirama, so I more or less know how tough those wood dragons are supposed to be and the one Obito and Plant used didn’t feel any different from Hashirama’s either.’
Moments later, she relaxed her body and laid down on her bed with an annoyed expression on her face.
‘While I was fighting Hashirama, I didn’t notice any abnormalities, maybe it has something to do with the techniques I used? While I was fighting Hashirama, I was only using my chains, ice, and Kurama’s chakra all of which are based on chakra and originate in this world. The sword technique I used on Obito, however, has nothing to do with chakra and uses principles from my previous life. Does the wood style reject concepts that are foreign to this world? Why would it do that?’
[Wood style is very effective against us as well. I never really thought about it, but isn’t that kind of weird?]
‘Mhh, true. Considering the origin of you and the other Bijuu, I guess you could be said to be from a different world as well, but if we take it that far, wouldn’t chakra itself fall into that category? Maybe the problem isn’t the wood-style itself, but the natural energy that comes with it, automatically? When I am fighting against Hinata or Anko, I don’t notice any of that, but that might be because they absorbed the natural energy with my method instead of the normal one. The only person I know who, I think, should be able to use natural energy the normal way is Jiraiya. Well, he should be pretty easy to bribe, so that’s good.’
[You didn’t even think for a moment of just asking him to help you, did you?]
[Kurama is right. Why don’t you just ask him for help?]
Yuna snorted in disdain when she heard what Kurama and Isobu asked.
‘Why should I bother with that? Isn’t bribing him much easier? Strictly speaking, it can’t even be considered a bribe, since I am not asking him to do anything illegal. It can be considered a normal transaction and, although I don’t feel too good about it, it can be considered perfectly legal.’
While Isobu was slightly confused by Yuna’s statement, Kurama could only shake his head in resignation.
A few minutes later, someone knocked on the door of Yuna’s room.
“Yuna-sama, an Anbu dropped off a message for you!”
“Enter!”
The door opened and revealed Karin, who wore a revealing maid uniform like usual. Yuna noticed that when Karin saw her lying on the bed, her thoughts wandered for a split second while a small giggle escaped her mouth. Yuna could only smile wryly at the behaviors of her perverted personal maid.
Karin was just about to hand over the letter when she “accidentally” dropped it, causing it to fall to the ground.
“Oops.”
Karin bent down to pick up the letter and while doing so “accidentally” flashed her panties to Yuna.
Yuna, who was used to Karin’s antics by now, moved her hand at lightning speed and gave Karin a crisp smack on her panty-clad butt.
*SMACK*
“HIGYAA!”
Karin let loose a weird sound when Yuna smacked her butt and looked at her in bewilderment. Yuna, however, only scoffed when she saw the confusion in Karin’s face.
“What’s wrong? You are my maid, right? It’s only natural for a mistress to punish her naughty maid if she messes up.”
At first, Karin got even more confused, but after she realized what Yuna said, a blush appeared on her face and moments later, a perverted grin appeared on Karin’s face that she tried to hide by lowering her head.
Yuna was very sensitive to chakra fluctuations, so she even noticed that Karin was using a bit of her chakra to prevent her nose from bleeding.
When she noticed this, Yuna only rolled her eyes and continued speaking with a domineering voice.
“Well? Are you going to give me that letter or do I have to punish you again?”
Yuna was pretty sure that Karin was genuinely thinking about which of these two options she wanted to choose, but after thinking about it for a short while, she bent down again, flashing her panties to Yuna yet again, and picked up the letter.
Yuna rolled her eyes at Karin again when she saw the disappointment in her eyes due to not receiving another smack, while, at the same time, chuckling a little due to finding Karin’s behavior rather amusing.
After handing Yuna the letter, Karin made her way back out of the door, but not before “accidentally” flashing Yuna her panties yet again, which caused Yuna to roll her eyes at Karin, yet again.
After Karin left the room, Yuna opened the letter and started reading it and after she finished reading it, she couldn’t help but chuckle a little. The letter was from Tsunade and she was summoning Yuna to the Hokage’s office. Since Yuna was the leader of a big clan, it was no longer enough to send over an Anbu to call her. She had to be politely invited and, strictly speaking, she didn’t have to go immediately either. Although the letter was indeed written politely, the whole thing was dripping with sarcasm and hidden insults.
‘Hahaha, Tsunade is pretty good at this. I wonder if she learned it from me or if she always had a talent for writing letters with a hidden meaning.’
[My guess is, that she got a “sudden enlightenment” after channeling all the anger she felt towards you into the letter.]
‘Hahaha, that might actually be true. I wonder if someone will start cultivating a Dao that revolves around hating me anytime soon. I genuinely can’t wait.’
[Considering how much you have messed with him, something like that might actually turn that Sasuke brat into a real threat for you, which, personally, I would find beyond hilarious.]
‘As if. That guy is way too occupied with the Dao of Angst and the Dao of Hatred-Against-His-Brother to bother with anything else. Oh! And let’s not forget about the Dao of Inferiority Complex!’
[Err, I’m sorry, but what are you talking about? What is a Dao?]
‘[Don’t worry about it, Isobu.]’
[???]
