Bai Lian Hua’s mind is currently in a mess and he couldn’t help but feel frustrated. Returning to the dormitory, he still couldn’t find his keys so he contacted his teacher. After lunch, he followed Song Qingge and helped bring the dishes to the kitchen. Song Qingge reached across, took the plates and threw them inside the dishwasher.

Song Qingge went silent for half a minute. He turned his head to look at Bai Lian Hua for about 10 seconds before he said: “No, my brother is very talkative and my father is very noisy. Those two can talk for thirty minutes straight without anyone interrupting.” Bai Lian Hua mulled over it for a while….If he were to grow up in that kind of environment, he probably would have also become as quiet as Song brother.
“Song Qingge, have you ever had a girlfriend?” Bai Lian Hua asked as he tried to find a general topic to talk about.
Song Qingge’s ears went red. After a long pause he replied with a very small voice: “You are my first love.”
Unfortunately, although his voice was small, Bai Lian Hua still heard it….the two faced each other and could feel their faces getting warmer. This was especially the case for Song Qingge. He had probably not blushed in his 18 years of life and now that he was blushing for the first time, it was out of control……..
Bai Lian Hua’s lips moved as if he wanted to say something but it looks like the last topic had developed in a strange direction: “I started dating girls when I was in third year of junior high school….It was with a girl who was older than me by two years. Every time she bought me popsicles, I let her kiss me. After she graduated from high school, we broke up….”
Song Qingge’s actions stiffed but he didn’t interrupt and continued to listen.
“I went to high school and I’m not trying to boast but there were a few girls who were pining after me. They helped me do my homework and sent me Christmas cards. Although I wasn’t as tall as the other boys in the class, according to the girls, I was the one who looked the most pleasing to the eye….” As Bai Lian Hua remembered something, he laughed, “By dad said that with my looks, I wouldn’t be able to find a wife but when he saw me walking down the street with another girl when I was in high school he was so pissed….”
Bai Lian Hua looked at Song Qingge’s expression and lightly pressed his lips together before his eyes moved to gaze out the window as he fell deep in thought.“…….I think, I should not like men.” Even though, after all these years, he had never fallen in love with a woman.
It was very quiet. Song Qingge turned and indifferently looked at him. Yes, it was indifference. Bai Lian Hua could faintly sense that Song Qingge was angry.
In fact, Song Qingge was indeed angry. The usually calm and blank expression gradually twisted into a distorted smile.
“Bai Lian Hua, I don’t want to see you right now.” Song Qingge suddenly said. Bai Lian Hua looked at him but couldn’t say any of the words that was circulating around in his mind.

And so he fled.
Song Qingge didn’t dare to say who it was that fled. Bai Lian Hua didn’t want to admit that he could fall in love with another man just like Song Qingge didn’t want to admit that Bai Lian Hua had never considered the idea of being together with another man.
Bai Lian Hua returned to his dormitory from Song Qingge’s home, climbed into his bed and covered his face with his blanket. With his vision covered in darkness, he convinced himself not think about what had happened at Song Qingge’s place but he couldn’t help but think back to Song Qingge’s words.
As if he had realised something, Bai Lian Hua writhed around in bed frustrated and made his hair even more of a mess. You mom….he is not gay! He is a normal man! Just because he still doesn’t know the taste of meat even as a third year college student, he is still a normal man! Well and truly! How can he like another man? Not to mention, Bai Lian Hua didn’t dare think about his dad’s reaction if he found out about this incident. It would be highly likely that he would directly sever their father-son relationship!
It’s all because of Song Qingge causing him to become abnormal! He self-destructively thought this as he threw his blanket onto the floor before proceeding to pick it up again. Hesitating for a very long time, he couldn’t pull up the courage click onto the game icon,
Don’t want to move. Don’t want to play game. Don’t want to do homework. Bai Lian Hua felt as if he was going through menopause….but he was still young. Li Bei placed his luggage against the wall and sat down on his bed.

After that there was no sound. Bai Lian Hua thought of himself and Song Qingge. Could Song Qingge have mistakened their friendship for love?
