Chapter 508: Chapter 334: Fireworks Filling the Sky (6)
Qi Yue smiled. "Yes, I’m willing."
Zhao Chi asked, "Are you doing this because you feel like it’s not enough? If you want to eat some, you can just have it when I give it to you. There’s no need to save it."
Qi Yue shook her head and chuckled lightly. "I just think it’s a bit wasteful. You don’t need to worry about me, my Lord."
"Alright..."
After a short rest, Zhao Chi went to Su Qin’s territory.
Su Qin was asleep.
But as soon as he slipped under the covers, Su Qin wrapped herself around him.
Zhao Chi had just been through two rounds, so he wasn’t particularly sensitive.
So he lasted an exceptionally long time.
Naturally, Su Qin struggled and let out a stream of delicate cries.
Her four Elf Female Heroes lived right next door.
Hearing Su Qin’s cries, they immediately grabbed their Weapons and rushed out the door to rescue her.
But the more they listened, the more they felt something was wrong.
Besides, with their experience from last time, these few Female Elves weren’t completely clueless.
They restrained themselves from acting rashly and listened outside the door for a while.
Li Qi frowned. "I can’t make it out. Is Lord Su Qin really crying for help? From the sounds of it... it doesn’t seem like she is."
Li Mei said anxiously, "Of course she is! Didn’t you hear her say she was about to die? Let’s go!"
With that, she moved to push the door open.
Li Hua quickly pulled her back. "Lord Su Qin is crying for help, but she’s not asking us to save her. She’s asking Lord Zhao Chi to save her."
Li Mei was confused. "Isn’t Lord Zhao Chi already in there? Listen! Lord Su Qin is about to die again! Let’s charge!"
Li Zhu also grabbed Li Mei. "Charge? Are you kidding? You’re so dense! This has nothing to do with us. Let’s go back to sleep."
Li Mei was bewildered, but seeing that the other three weren’t moving, she had no choice but to stop.
Su Qin’s cries grew louder.
And they were accompanied by rapid panting.
Li Zhu sighed. "I can’t... I can’t listen to this. Let’s go, quickly."
With that, Li Zhu immediately hurried away.
Li Qi glanced at the Lord’s House. "Lord Zhao Chi doesn’t know how to go easy on our Lord Su Qin at all."
Li Hua said, "What do you know? This *is* how he shows he cares the most for Lord Su Qin. Lord Zhao Chi... he seems pretty incredible."
Li Mei was still worried. "Are we sure we don’t need to go in?"
Li Hua chided, "You silly girl, why are you so eager to go in? You want to join them?"
Li Mei was taken aback. "Join what?"
Li Qi said, "Never mind. Let’s get out of here."
Li Hua nodded and dragged Li Mei away.
The four Female Elves all left.
A long time later, Su Qin collapsed into a deep sleep.
His inability to finish for so long was certainly tough on Su Qin.
But Su Qin seemed to have enjoyed it as well, gaining a total of 9 Energy Points.
Which was also pretty good.
Zhao Chi looked at her, hesitated for a moment, but ultimately left.
After all, Su Qin would be asleep until morning at the very least. In her current state, she might even sleep longer.
’I can make a good amount of Kerosene in this time.’
He returned to Penglai Village.
Although Zhao Chi was a little tired, he still found Qi Yue and completed one cycle of Kerosene production before resting.
「Soon, it was 8 AM.」
He had spent more time with the women yesterday, so he had only completed five production cycles.
Still, spending time with them wasn’t a waste. After all, it maintained their relationships and increased his Energy Points. Plus, keeping them satisfied ensured their Mood stayed high.
He produced 1,965 liters of Super Bright Kerosene yesterday. Zhao Chi added 35 liters from Curry to round it out to 2,000 liters, which he sold to Zhao Cang, earning another 400 Gold Coins.
Before he knew it, his Gold Coins had accumulated to 1,617.
Zhao Chi’s Refining Skills and Kerosene Mastery had both reached 62 points.
When he woke up this time, he found someone beside him.
It was Tang Ruan, sitting on the edge of the bed and smiling at him.
Her eyes were filled with pride and affection.
Zhao Chi recognized that affectionate gaze.
Ever since Tang Ruan’s Affinity for him reached Tier Four: Dazed and Confused, she had always looked at him this way.
It was the same with Gu Qing and the others.
’But what’s the reason for that hint of pride in her eyes?’
"My Lord, you’re awake?"
Tang Ruan asked sweetly.
Beside them, Qi Yue also opened her eyes, looking dazedly at Zhao Chi and Tang Ruan.
Tang Ruan gently placed a hand on Qi Yue’s shoulder. "Qi Yue, you can sleep a while longer. I need to step out with the Lord for a moment."
"Oh, alright..."
Qi Yue lay back down.
"Looking for me? What is it?" Zhao Chi asked, curious.
"Please come with me, my Lord. You’ll know in a moment," Tang Ruan said, not answering directly, her expression still full of pride.
A few ideas flashed through Zhao Chi’s mind.
But he wasn’t certain of any of them.
Tang Ruan gently took Zhao Chi’s hand, leading him to the adjacent warehouse.
It was a new warehouse, built from fresh timber that still filled the air with its clean, woody scent.
The warehouse had been empty, but now a single wooden bed stood inside.
The wooden bed was placed starkly in the middle of the warehouse, made up with a mattress and a white sheet.
But the sheet was covered in bloody marks, streaks of crimson imprinted on the white fabric like an irregular, gory web.
Beside the bed was a nightstand, upon which sat three daggers of varying sizes.
The light glinting off their edges showed they were incredibly sharp.
On either side of the bed were two wooden chairs.
Gu Qing and Zhuang Ya were sitting in them, both watching Zhao Chi in silence.
Behind the two of them was a two-square-meter wooden pallet.
The pallet was covered with a white cloth, and on that cloth...
Was nothing but white Jade Armor.
Tang Ruan’s white Jade Armor.
’Holy fuck...’
Zhao Chi felt his scalp tingle with horror.
The pieces of Jade Armor were stacked neatly in layers upon the pallet, forming a pile a full meter high.
Zhao Chi’s Body trembled slightly.
But Tang Ruan didn’t notice his state. She pointed at the Jade Armor, trying to curry favor. "My Lord, this should be enough material for all the High Heels in the territory, right?"
She still wore that proud expression, like a student who had aced a test and was waiting for praise.
