Chapter 320: Chapter 272: Village Defense (8)

Hargo’s words startled Shaq.

"What? Cole is dead?"

"Cole’s been captured."

Shaq turned his head in astonishment. He saw Cole completely bound in faint red Silk Threads, writhing on the ground like a giant maggot.

"Stop looking. You two are next," Gu Qing said as she appeared on the battlefield. "Tang Ruan, don’t kill this one. Leave him for the Lord to sell."

"Understood, Sister Gu."

Shaq felt a warm, viscous substance stick to him.

He looked down and saw it was an extremely sticky Silk Thread.

The thread was very elastic; he could easily stretch it out, but it wouldn’t break.

As more threads appeared, the elasticity multiplied, and he could no longer pull it apart.

Lying on the ground, Shaq actually felt a sense of relief.

He looked at Tang Ruan in fear, as if gazing upon an unbeatable valkyrie.

Gu Qing rubbed her lower abdomen. "You’re next. Come here!"

Hargo hastily retreated into the horde of Beastmen.

"Quick, block her for me!"

The Beastman villagers on both sides charged at Gu Qing.

Gu Qing snorted and simply crashed through the Beastman villagers.

With a flick of her fingers, a gale whipped the Silk Threads, striking Hargo in an instant.

Hargo was captured as well.

All three Beastman Heroes were captured, and the Beastman Warriors were almost completely wiped out.

The remaining few hundred Beastman villagers had rock-bottom Morale and were on the verge of collapse.

Gao Di hurriedly shouted to Han’Er, "Brother Han, do something, quick! I can’t hold on over here! We’re about to break!"

Han’Er: "..."

"Brother Han, make your move! If my side collapses, yours won’t fare much better."

Han’Er still said nothing.

"Brother Han, why aren’t you talking? You... holy shit, what’s going on?"

Su Qin asked as well, "What’s... what’s happening over there? Why are there so few Goblins all of a sudden? Where did they all go?"

Zhao Chi pointed to the red-stained ground on the right side of the battlefield.

"Aren’t the Goblins right there on the ground? Take a closer look."

"On... the ground...?"

The ground was covered in chunks of flesh and blood.

Qi Yue was drenched in gore.

She was also quite astonished.

’These Goblins are way too fragile...’

’Even though they aren’t wearing any Armor and only have loincloths, a single Moon Blade Slash shouldn’t be able to kill them, right?’

’And one Moon Blade Slash is killing two of them at once...’

She had just unleashed dozens of Moon Blade Slashes, carving several bloody paths in front of her.

Normally, any Goblins who witnessed Qi Yue’s power firsthand would have all fled.

But now, they were all in a State of Frenzy.

Suddenly, they saw Qi Yue’s stunning face and the beautiful faces of the Female Swordsmen behind her, which only excited them more.

One by one, they raised their Weapons, trampling over the dismembered corpses of their allies on the ground as they all charged forward.

Since that was the case, Qi Yue didn’t hold back.

Her three arms raised their Iron Sabers high.

"Sisters, the Lord said to make this quick! Use your Combat Skills continuously and kill them as fast as possible!"

"Understood!"

The Female Swordsmen immediately charged to meet them.

Flashes of blades filled the air, and blood sprayed to the heavens.

The Goblin Race’s Constitution was only 4 points, and most of them wore no Armor.

Before the Female Soldiers, whose Race’s Power was a full 6 points, they were far too fragile.

And Qi Yue’s Power was 7 points. Killing just one with a single strike was almost a waste; she was truly unstoppable.

Furthermore, these Female Soldiers had all their Enhancements focused on Attack Speed. Combined with Continuous Dance, their killing speed was extremely fast.

Continuous Dance was originally meant for dealing with unarmored or lightly armored targets. Now, it was an absolute steamroll.

Calling it an instant kill was no exaggeration.

In just one minute, while everyone’s attention was drawn by Tang Ruan’s shout, hundreds of Goblins had already died.

Han’Er was completely stunned.

He felt like he was dreaming.

Gao Di’s shout suddenly snapped him out of it.

"Brother Han, Brother Han, what’s going on? How did so many of your Goblins suddenly die?"

Han’Er stared blankly at Gao Di.

Gao Di looked anxiously at Han’Er.

Han’Er truly lived up to his name as a Town Lord; his reactions were extremely fast.

He immediately judged that the battle was irreversible.

Without hesitation, he tapped to teleport.

"Fuck, we’re going to lose this fight! Let’s go!"

Before Gao Di could even react, Han’Er was gone.

Only his words were left echoing.

"What the fuck!? You just left? Wait for me!"

Gao Di also immediately tried to teleport, but he was a step too late.

A gust of wind carried a sticky Silk Thread that wrapped around him. At the other end of the line was a smiling Gu Qing.

"Where do you think you’re going?"

「Meanwhile, in the Great World.」

Han’Er suddenly appeared.

The surrounding villagers jumped in fright.

Han’Er looked at them in a panic, but he quickly realized that the villagers still in the Great World now weren’t Lords.

They were probably all Craftsmen who specialized in a certain field.

But the thought that from now on, he too would have to become a Craftsman or a mercenary, made him feel disheartened.

’But that’s a small matter. Staying alive is what’s most important.’

’I just need to get my hands on another World Stone.’

Han’Er immediately broke into a sprint, heading north.

"You run pretty fast. You almost made it out of the village."

"What!!"

A woman’s voice suddenly sounded in his ear. Han’Er flinched in terror and immediately accelerated into a frantic sprint.

But he felt his legs lose their strength.

He was running for his life, but it felt like he was just kicking at the air.

And then his Body toppled to the ground.

’What’s happening?’

Han’Er turned his head.

He discovered his lower legs were gone.

No, not gone.

They had fallen off behind him.

Blood was gushing from below his knees.

’This...?’

He stared blankly at his legs, frozen on the ground.

Qi Yue rushed up, her face devoid of expression.

"Let’s go. Time to go back."

Qi Yue picked up Han’Er with two of her hands. Her other two hands grabbed one of his severed legs each. With a WHOOSH, she teleported back to Su Qin’s territory.

Su Qin’s territory was in chaos.

With their Lords and Heroes captured, the remaining Beastmen and Goblins completely broke down.

They ran about in all directions but couldn’t escape the grasp of the Female Soldiers, who easily caught up to them and kicked them to the ground.
