The Sea God’s Hall.
Fang Heng appeared in the center of the teleportation hall through the teleportation magic array and slowly opened his eyes.
The entire hall was constructed from blue crystals. Vague, flowing patterns could be seen within the crystals. Rows of towering Sea God pillars stood inside the hall. The surface of the pillars had no extra decorations, but they emitted a faint glow, outlining the shape of the temple.
The temple hall was extremely empty, and the distance ahead was dim.
The top of the temple was also not sealed, and looking up, one could see the deep sea suspended dozens of meters above.
The ocean was held up by the power of the Sea God pillars, forming a massive natural dome. Fang Heng could vaguely see giant deep-sea creatures swimming overhead.
Fang Heng withdrew his gaze and looked around.
More than ten powerful auras were hidden within the shadows of the temple.
Although they had deliberately restrained their presence, Fang Heng still easily detected them.
His God’s Eye slowly appeared, allowing him to clearly see the sea族 priests standing in two rows in the distance, dressed in blue robes.
Feng Tiya sat on the Sea God throne. Her serpentine blue hair hung quietly over her shoulders, and her deep blue eyes observed Fang Heng and Lyanna, who had appeared at the center of the magic array.
"Fang Heng, welcome to the deep sea. This is the Sea God Palace. How does it compare to the palaces on land?"
"It is indeed impressive," Fang Heng said, withdrawing his gaze and smiling at Feng Tiya. "I’m curious about something. When did you come into contact with the Black Fog Game world?"
Feng Tiya showed a hint of confusion, "Hm? Black Fog World?"
Fang Heng paused for a moment and suddenly realized that Feng Tiya might not understand the Black Fog Game.
"The ocean itself is a network. It is far larger than what you see on the surface. Almost all the deep sea is connected," Feng Tiya said, raising her right hand and casually drawing an arc in the air.
A water curtain condensed in midair out of nowhere.
On the water curtain, a complex topological structure appeared—countless nodes connected through blue lines, forming a giant web with no visible boundary.
"The region you were in before was just one node of the Tide of Eternal Night sea area. What you saw on the surface was only a small projection of the underwater world."
Fang Heng looked at the structure on the water curtain and seemed to understand.
"So what you’re saying is that so-called ’teleportation’ is just moving from one node to another within this network?"
"More or less."
Feng Tiya dispersed the water curtain, "The ocean is a whole. For you, it is crossing worlds. For me, it is just movement."
Fang Heng fell silent for several seconds.
He had always believed that each world was completely independent, and that entry and exit between worlds relied on interstellar passageways, teleportation magic arrays, or the Black Fog Game.
He had not expected that the ocean itself was a special natural passage connecting different worlds.
Then what about Charlene?
Previously, through astrology, he had tracked Charlene’s location and confirmed she was in the Black Sea Game world.
So had she returned?
Or had she never actually entered the deep-sea palace region?
"Thank you for the explanation," Fang Heng said, pulling back his thoughts and nodding at Feng Tiya. "I’ll get straight to the point. I came here mainly to find someone."
"I have a friend named Charlene. She belongs to an organization called the Black Castle. Through astrology, I locked onto her location in the Black Sea Game world. Later, I learned she also entered the deep sea region, but the area she went to was the Sea of Nature."
Feng Tiya did not answer immediately. Her serpentine hair swayed slightly as she thought for a moment, then she shook her head, "Black Castle... Charlene... I have no impression. I’ll ask around for you."
She gestured toward the distance.
Two sea族 priests emerged from the darkness.
Feng Tiya asked, "You all heard that. Have you heard of Black Castle?"
The priests lowered their heads respectfully.
"Your Majesty, within the Tide of Eternal Night sea area, we have not heard of Charlene or Black Castle. Based on this gentleman’s description, the person he is looking for should be in the Sea of Nature region."
Feng Tiya said, "Fang Heng, the deep sea is vast, far beyond your imagination. The three major sea regions are controlled by me, the Sea of Nature’s ruler, and the Berserk Sea’s ruler. Since the time of my ancestors, war and peace in the deep sea have repeated countless times. We are all tired. According to the latest peace treaty signed between the three seas, we do not easily enter other Sea God territories."
"We only control the Tide of Eternal Night sea area and have limited knowledge of it."
Fang Heng nodded slightly.
So he would still need to go to the Sea of Nature to ask about Charlene’s whereabouts.
"I have some acquaintance with Kandal, the ruler of the Sea of Nature. If you need, I can introduce you."
Fang Heng immediately nodded, "That would be troublesome."
"It is no trouble." Feng Tiya leaned back into her throne. "I will have someone write a letter. You can take my seal when you go. Kandal is a polite person who prefers peace. With my seal, he should not make things difficult for you."
"Also, one more thing."
"Speak."
"About the god core."
At those words, Feng Tiya’s expression immediately became serious. She straightened up, her serpentine hair stopping its movement, and her deep blue eyes locked onto Fang Heng.
"Oh? You have come into contact with the god core?"
Fang Heng keenly sensed that several sea族 priests also changed their expressions, their gazes turning slightly hostile.
What was going on?
After some thought, Fang Heng simply spoke honestly.
"Yes. I accidentally found a method of condensing the god core in the land world and tried it. I managed to successfully form a preliminary god core."
As he spoke, he released a trace of divine power from within his body.
Feng Tiya’s pupils suddenly contracted.
The power of god core!
There was no mistake!
The last time she saw Fang Heng, he had not had any trace of this power.
And now it had only been this short time?
Condensing the god core was extremely difficult, with a very low success rate, and required fanatical believers to assist.
Yet Fang Heng had actually completed the initial formation of the god core in such a short time?
Although Feng Tiya remained calm on the surface, her mind was already in turmoil.
Fang Heng continued, "The initial condensation of the god core was somewhat crude and not fully utilized. I suspect the advancement path I obtained is incomplete, and it is also missing the later stages of the god core development."
One of the sea race priests could not hide his disbelief and asked, "Mr. Fang Heng, do you still have that god core method with you?"
"Yes, I do."
"May we take a look?"
