Chapter 563: Chapter 342: Leaving the Yanhuang Federation First War Fortress; Principal Tang Weihua’s Welcome and Scholarship
Hearing Zhang Yi’s answer, the team leader, Teacher Xu Yiweng, cried out happily.
"I’ll tell the principal this good news right away.
"Furthermore, as a reward for the honor you two have brought to Golden City No.1 Middle School, the school has decided to waive all of your tuition, grant each of you 5,000,000 Wealth Faith Value, and give you permission to enter the school’s treasury to select any Five-star Unrivaled Quality Divine Domain Card as your scholarship award!
"This is the greatest reward the school can offer you!
"However, we’ll also need you two to provide your personal account details. The school will deposit the 5,000,000 Wealth Faith Value scholarship and refund your tuition fees into that account."
Hearing Teacher Xu Yiweng announce this additional reward, Hong Tianyi’s face lit up with a smile. Although for Zhang Yi and Hong Tianyi, the waived tuition was nothing to speak of—after all, it was a public school. But the school’s decision was, in itself, a recognition of their achievements. Having spent over a year at Golden City No.1 Middle School, both of them still felt an attachment to their alma mater.
The small luxury spacecraft entered Subspace and traveled for over two hours. After decelerating, Zhang Yi and Hong Tianyi could already see the outline of Blue Star through the porthole.
As they officially entered the sphere of Blue Star Planet, the relaxed bodies of Zhang Yi and Hong Tianyi became constrained once more. They felt their bodies suddenly grow heavy, and the circulation of their Divine Power became difficult, almost impossible to mobilize. This was the unique "treatment" reserved for Divine Beings entering the surface of Blue Star Planet. As a result, Zhang Yi and Hong Tianyi, who had been away from Blue Star for half a year, found it difficult to adapt at first.
I’ll have to use a Divine Domain Connection Pod to log into the Divine Realm from now on. At the University Alliance Training Camp, Zhang Yi had grown accustomed to locating and entering his Divine Realm using only his consciousness.
Since the officials of the University Alliance Training Camp had already filed the flight plan for the small spacecraft carrying the cadets in advance, the small luxury spacecraft’s journey was very smooth. After reaching the surface of Blue Star Planet, it only took a little over twenty minutes to arrive at the location of Golden City No.1 Middle School.
When the small luxury spacecraft landed on the lawn of Golden City No.1 Middle School, exhaust billowed out as the cabin door opened. The moment Zhang Yi and Hong Tianyi stepped out, deafening applause and cheers filled their ears.
At the entrance, Principal Tang Weihua was personally leading the reception, with the deans, teachers, and students from various grades standing behind him. Banners were stretched out everywhere, and colorful flags fluttered in the air.
Zhang Yi saw a message in large letters written on one of the banners: "Warmly Welcoming Back to their Alma Mater: Hong Tianyi, Who Passed All Trials, and Zhang Yi, Grand Champion of the University Alliance Training Camp!"
As for the contents of the other banner, Zhang Yi couldn’t see it clearly before Principal Tang Weihua walked forward. Arriving in front of Zhang Yi and Hong Tianyi, the principal took Hong Tianyi’s hand in one of his and Zhang Yi’s in the other.
"Thank you, both of you, for bringing honor to Golden City No.1 Middle School!"
Principal Tang Weihua turned to Zhang Yi. "Zhang Yi, thank you for bringing honor to Golden City No.1 Middle School. To achieve first place in all three rounds of assessment at the University Alliance Training Camp, you must have put in an incredible amount of hard work!"
Before Zhang Yi could reply, the principal turned to Hong Tianyi, his tone just as excited.
"Hong Tianyi, you were also outstanding! To be able to pass all the assessments of the University Alliance Training Camp is an extremely rare feat, even in our school’s history."
Immediately after, the school’s vice principal and grade-level deans also came forward one by one to speak with and take pictures with Zhang Yi and Hong Tianyi.
For a time, the students standing behind the adults were reduced to a backdrop. But far from showing any dissatisfaction, they looked at Zhang Yi and Hong Tianyi, who were completely surrounded by the principal and teachers, with eyes full of deep envy. They, too, wanted to bring honor to the school and become its pride!
However, after the initial chaos subsided and all the school leaders and teachers had taken their photos with Zhang Yi and Hong Tianyi, the scene gradually became orderly. The school leaders and teachers left first, followed by the students from the various grades.
After everyone had gone, Zhang Yi and Hong Tianyi were invited by Principal Tang Weihua to his office. The group walked through the school. Along the way, students would occasionally pass by, and others would poke their heads out of windows, looking at the two students next to the principal with curiosity and admiration. Zhang Yi and Hong Tianyi drew the attention of countless students.
The last time Zhang Yi had been in the principal’s office was after the final exams, when he was invited for winning first place. Returning now, he found that though the place was the same, everything else had changed.
Principal Tang Weihua prepared two cups of hot tea and handed them to Zhang Yi and Hong Tianyi. Once the cups were handed over, the fragrance of tea began to curl through the office.
Principal Tang Weihua got straight to the point. "Your team leader, Teacher Xu Yiweng, told me on the spacecraft that you both agreed to give a speech to the remaining students at the school. Is that right?"
"Yes," Zhang Yi and Hong Tianyi said in unison.
Principal Tang Weihua nodded, his expression unreadable, showing neither happiness nor displeasure.
After a pause, he continued, "In addition to the scholarship the school is providing—the 5,000,000 Wealth Faith Value and permission to enter the school treasury to choose any Five-star Unrivaled Quality Divine Domain Card..."
